B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Hindu College of Engineering
3.4

Really good management and faculty members.
Placements: In my course, nearly 35 to 40% of students get placed in this college. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. More than 50% of students got internships in companies like Shakaltech, Ancraft, and so on. Software engineer and web develops are some top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The speed of Wi-Fi is low. Classrooms are not so clean and the fans are also not all working. Sometimes librarian do not allow students to sit in the library. The food is average but there are no medical facilities in the hostel. There is not any perfect equipment for any sport.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching skills are also very good. The curriculum makes student confident and industry-ready. The level of difficulty is average in semester exams and students must get a minimum of 40% to pass the exams.
Other: The future is very bright in this course. Tech could be useful to teach. Students get the chance to organize the event by themselves and be more confident.

DCRUST Review of the Year 2024.
Placements: As a student in the second year in the 3rd semester, I have not been in placements yet. However, I have spoken to my seniors and gathered some information from the department. This year, 64 students out of 127 students have been placed. The highest package is 8 Lacs, the lowest is 2.15 Lacs, and the average package is about 3 Lacs. I do not have knowledge about the top roles offered to students by the companies.
Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructure of the course and department are good. However, the quality of food in the mess is not that good but average. The canteen is good in terms of food quality. Medical facilities are very poor in our college; there is no ambulance, and only one doctor is available in the medical room. We have Wi-Fi in our hostel, but it is not operational most of the time. There is no sports meet in our college, but we have good space and infrastructure for games.
Faculty: It has good, qualified faculty, qualified with Ph.D.s, and the teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is not that much relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready. However, the curriculum has some changes this year for newly admitted students. Semester exams are average in difficulty level. The passing percentage is almost 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I was very interested in PCB designing and embedded systems. I would prefer the course to be more practical than theory-based. There is only one annual fest called Rhythm held in November. There are many singing, technical, and cultural societies in the college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

You're decent enough if you're focused.
Placements: Out of 140, around 30 students were placed. The highest package offered was 8.25 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Veersa Technology, Fidelity International, and TCS. Out of 140, around 80 were on internships. Top roles were developed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is improving, and many renovations are done in college. The Wi-Fi facility is there; the library is classy and quiet. Labs do not have proper functioning systems. Classrooms are being renovated, and some are still to be improvised. The hostel food is of moderate quality.
Faculty: Teachers help when you reach out to them. The professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum still needs improvement. Semester exams are easy to crack; not much difficulty will be faced. The course curriculum will not help you in your industry. You need to self-study that.
Other: The campus crowd is not very good because B.Sc. and BCA students are not well-behaved. Though if you are in some B.Tech course, it is decent. Campus is close to Dhabas; you will have a good hangout.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2025

Placements are not so good for students of engineering.
Placements: In my course, no placements are there, but in engineering, placements are there. The highest package till now is approximately 65 Lacs per year. On average, the placement is 4 to 6 Lacs. My plan is to do my private office. Almost one hundred percent of students get internships, as in the architectural course, there are only private firms that hire interns.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and the hostel also. The food quality is good, and the mess menu can be changed according to the students' demands. The entire process is online for hostel registration; to register, go to the official website. There are different high-rise societies on NH-44, at a distance of 5 km from the campus. DCRUST has the biggest library in Haryana, which is fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, and I chose this course because I have a great interest in it. Exams are held timely, and the difficulty level is normal. All I want to say is that academically, the university is the best at the state level in all of Haryana. There are so many groups created by students for co-curricular activities.
Other: The campus is surrounded by 273 acres with all facilities. The fest is mainly held in November-December, such as "Goonj." There are professional courts and grounds for all kinds of sports. There are different groups for wellness created by students, like PAW for street dogs.

University is decent; the rest depends on the person, how to enjoy this life and succeed.
Placements: I am a student in this university. My course is B. Teach ECE. Now, to the placement in our branch, the placement percent was 20%. The highest package is 7 Lacs and the average is 3.2 Lacs. The top recruiting company was TCS. Yes, you can get an internship based on your level of skill. This was the college placement; otherwise, you can go for outside campus placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the university for B. Tech are good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and libraries, but in the hostel, they do not work sometimes. The rest is okay. Mess food is decent. The canteen is nice. Medical facilities are also good. For sports and games, you need to show interest in sports, and yes, in our university, district-level sports are conducted. But inter-college sports competitions are very low. This was my personal experience as I am in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified, no doubt about that. Most of the teachers are helpful, but some teachers may not be able to grow your interest in the subject. Yes, if you perform well, it makes you industry-ready. Semester exams are average to tough, but it all depends on the teacher who sets the paper and who checks the paper. The passing marks required are 40%.
Other: I chose this course as I could not get Computer Science, but over time I understood this course is better in terms of knowledge and work. The rest of the college life depends on you. Events and fests happen. Scholarship opportunities are available. That's all from my experience.

Review of DCRUST - Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology.
Placements: Total strength of a batch in a particular branch is up to 140, out of which only 20% are placed from on-campus placements. The highest package was once given by Amazon of 84 LPA off-campus. Average package goes around 2.5-6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are: Fidelity, Veersa, Chipset, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in the classrooms but has this facility in the Library and University computer centre. Internet facility is available in the hostel premises but the range is not that good and the speed also declines when the number of users increases.
Faculty: Absolutely, the teachers are well qualified as this is a government university, so they must have gone through a rigorous procedure. They only teach what will come in your minor and end sem and not about the insights of the industry. Semester exams are based on the previous year papers up to 80%.

Getting a seat in B.Tech CSE at DCRUST with a rank of 340,000 in JEE Mains and belonging to the EWS category could be challenging. Typically, Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most competitive branches, and the cutoff ranks tend to be much lower, especially for reserved categories lik
