Pretty good infrastructure and faculty, average facilities, good govt. college for Architecture.
Placements: For Architecture, placements like B.Tech don't take place. Mostly students start their own firm, join any firm during their internship period, or go for higher studies. There have been students of DCRUST who got really good government jobs in Architecture.
Infrastructure: Considering it's a government university, the facilities are average. Students have access to the library and e-library. The infrastructure of the department is quite good, it's just not maintained properly. The quality of food in the mess is good. There's a dispensary on the campus itself. There are multiple canteens on the campus. Sports and games facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is also relevant. Yes, it does make students industry-ready in 5 years. Semester exams aren't that difficult, doing PYQs is more than enough to qualify them.
Other: Architecture is an interesting course. I guess the classrooms and regular updates of things could have been better. The events and the fest held are pretty good. The crowd is just fine. Scholarships are also available. There are multiple societies for students to join.

    Best architecture college in Sonipat
Placements: There are no on campus placement. You have to create your portfolio and apply in the firms. Almost everyone gets placed as there are ample of architecture firms. Average stipend is 5000-8000INR. Internship is mandatory in the 7th semester. You have to complete 6 months or 24weeks internship.
Infrastructure: There are AC classrooms. Wifi connection is also there. Projector is placed in each and every classrooms. Girls hostel is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the college building. Quality of hostel mess food is good. Mess is same for girls and boys. There is an infirmary in the college.
Faculty: Professors gets changed very quickly. Visiting faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant but there should be more practical information given and how work is done on the site. Semesters exams are not that tough. Passing criteria is 40%.
Other: I was always passionate about buildings and its construction. Best thing about this course is it helps you impact people's lives and it teaches you to deal with people. Practical knowledge could have been more emphasized wather than theoretical.

Good college but you should have the desire to study on your own only.
Placements: In architecture, there are no placements provided by the campus. You have to prepare a portfolio showcasing your best work from all semesters. Based on the quality of your work and talent, you can secure a package ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 as a fresher architect. Internships are also offered based on your portfolio, work, and talent.
Infrastructure: Since it is a government college, you cannot expect a very luxurious infrastructure. DCRUST has smart classrooms, soundproof classrooms, and labs. AC rooms are also available. The campus has three hostels for girls (Kalpana Chawla, Gargi, Mother Teresa) and four hostels for boys. They have a proper schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the campus has the greenest surroundings where you can walk, talk, and even play outdoor games. The quality of food provided in the hostel is good enough, but after some time, you may get bored of the same taste (this is my personal experience).
Faculty: Teachers have great knowledge of their fields, with many being Ph.D. scholars and architects (permanent faculty members). They are quite helpful. Yes, the course curriculum trains students by providing basic to advanced learning skills. The 6-month internship semester also gives you substantial field knowledge. Semester exams are the easiest part and the most stressful time for architecture students. Since we have already completed our most difficult subject, which is designing, we have enough knowledge to pass the exams even if we don't study much.
Other: I chose the course because I thought it was related to art and drawing, and I am quite creative and like to draw and sketch. However, it is totally different from art and sketching. The best thing about the course is that it will push you to find your creativity and make your brain work on more creative ideas and designs. At DCRUST, we have many groups and communities like SKA, Jzaa (drama), RPG, Rebels (dance), and others for singers, which also provide a platform for DCRUST students to compete with other colleges. Rhythm is also the most important fest at DCRUST. No scholarships are provided for architecture students. The campus is cool and has a lot of green space, with canteens like Pizza Book, Nescafe, Hangout, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: There are no provisions for placements via the college; the students have to take it upon themselves to get placed. For the internships, even the faculty were the least interested in contributing to the process; they only wanted to get rid of our batch for at least 6 months. Not helpful at all.
Infrastructure: The department was only for 1 floor only; as an architecture student, I know it requires infrastructure for conducting the course and machinery for the same, and our department had none. No facility but only one room with air conditioning. The hostel, on the other hand, is just what you would expect from a hostel to be; the food quality is not horrible; its edible and sometimes better than edible, but it's no match for home-cooked food.
Faculty: As we have heard, the teachers are qualified, but they were not helpful at all. I get that the college is for learning on your own, and it's fruitless to expect anything from the faculty, but still, if you're in that position, you should be able to at least guide.

It is a good college with well-qualified faculty members, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: In this college, placements are almost negligible. It is only about 2%. Placements are done off campus. There is no guarantee of placements. There is no top recruiting company. It is compulsory for everybody to do an internship in the 7th semester and students can choose their offices like Luthra & Associates, Arcade Design, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is normal. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. Classrooms are average but are neat and clean. Hostel facilities are above average. The quality of food is also good but you have to pay different bills for mess food. Medical facilities are available for free.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind. They cooperate with you in everything. Teachers are qualified and great at their own subjects. They teach you in a very well-maintained way and motivate you to do great things in your life. Semester exams are of intermediate type, neither so hard nor so easy.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in the study of buildings, plans, and their structure. The best thing about this course is to get to know about many things. It is a very knowledgeable and professional degree of 5 years. Things I want to improve are that our college should have more educational trips and software-aided learning. There are many sports events on campus and cultural events.

Research carefully before you take admission to any college.
Placements: Most of the students are not getting any opportunities for placement from the college side; instead, they are doing all this on their own. In my course, there are not very many firms, but it is a meaningful course. The highest package will be 10-15 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is 2 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Yes, the infrastructure and facilities are available in both academics and the hostel. There is a library, tuck shop, Wi-Fi, and canteen. In the girls' hostel, they provide washing machines, a kettle, and a microwave too. The quality of the food is not very good, but it's not very bad; it's in between.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified with master's degrees, but they have very little practical knowledge in their field, only theoretical knowledge. They are not making students industry-ready that much. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, so that every student can pass easily.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a renowned architect. The best thing is that you are designing someone’s dream house, and there are different scopes too. There is less theory and more practical knowledge because, in the end, we have to design practically.

Getting a seat in B.Tech CSE at DCRUST with a rank of 340,000 in JEE Mains and belonging to the EWS category could be challenging. Typically, Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most competitive branches, and the cutoff ranks tend to be much lower, especially for reserved categories lik
