DDU ranks 4th or 5th among the B-Schools in Gujarat. You get a very good environment to study here.
Placements: DDU students get average placements. Every year, 60-80% of students get placed from campus. The packages offered range from 2-6 LPA. The maximum package can also go up to 10 LPA sometimes. Companies that recruit management students came for marketing and finance fields. Marketing, CRM and IT companies, banks, insurance, and finance companies came for placements. All the students got internships two times in a company.
Infrastructure: DDU campus is located in a very good city called Nadiad. Hostel facilities are not provided by the college, but you can find hostels and PGs nearby at a walkable distance at affordable rates. If you pay more, then more facilities are available. If you pay less, then reasonable facilities are provided. Malls and food options are available nearby. Wi-Fi is not provided by the college. The campus is good. 5,000-6,000 students study in various fields. 3-4 canteens are available on campus. Transportation is available to commute to the nearby cities. The college is situated in the city, so you can easily find Rixa and other options for transportation, cyber cafe, shops and other requirements within a walkable distance. A library is available with lots of books where you can read during college hours. You can hang out in the college garden, but it is also crowded. There is no garden nearby in the city. Food shops like McDonald's, Dominos, Lapinoz and other cafes are available where you can go with friends. DDU has its own medical college and hospital, so you can get good medical facilities if needed. Sports facilities are not available. You need to find a gym in the nearby area to work out.
Faculty: The faculty members in DDU are average. Some of them are very enthusiastic and have good teaching skills, and some are boring and do their works. The teaching quality is average, but for getting a good job, you need to work hard on your own, and self-study is required. DDU is renowned for its exams, discipline and culture. They conduct 4 exams and many assignments per semester. It helps us to gain good knowledge. But you need to do lots of hard work and study. Most of the students become studious. You need to face continuous evolution and present in the classroom to get good marks. The curriculum is good and updated every year. This college is the best for study.
Other: I want to learn management for a career in the corporate. I got a free seat in this college. You get admission through the government or SFI. For government seats, the fee is very less, 15,000, and in SFI, the fee is high, 1,50,000. So, I recommend students to get admission through the CMAT exam and get a government seat. You can't find co-curricular activities much as they focus only on the study, but you need to manage on your own for other activities. An annual fest and sports competitions are conducted once a year.

Review of DDU - Dharmsinh Desai University.
Placements: Out of 59 students, about 41 students got placed. About 14 students do not want to do a job because of their personal reasons, and only 4-5 students remail unplaced. The highest salary package offered by Phonepe is 5.9 LPA. DDU is all about discipline. Projects, presentations, etc., should be done in a given time, and it is not easy to complete your course here. All the students did an internship. Our fee structure is Rs. 5,800 per semester for government seats. Students pay 6.6 lac per semester for a self-financed seat. There are a total of 60 seats for MBA course. Most of the students are freshers, and they got placed corporate companies by attending the interviews. Top corporate companies like Prakash Chemicals from Vadodara is regular recruiter, SRK, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in our college are not up to the mark, but it can be said decent. The college garden is good and green. Food served in the canteen is good at a reasonable price. If you love sports, then this university is lacking behind in that.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are too good and helpful. They are friendly.
Other: The college makes the overall development and management skills. Every year a specific event is organised by the college, which is popular and unique.

The dharam singh desai institute ( ddu) biblography.
Placements: The placements cell is good. One of my seniors got placed in TCS with a package of 6.5 LPA. In the matter of attendance, they are strict. But the end of the day, its a better college ranking 4th in Gujarat in the MBA course. In India, it ranks between 30 to 40.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure of the DDU is good. There is parking facility. We have a good canteen facility. All the department classes are good. There is a garden in our college for the students to rest in the free time.
Faculty: All the faculty of the DDU are very good in their teaching skills. There are many faculty members to help the students in the study as well as the extracurricular activities. All the faculty of the DDU-MBA branch are PhD holders. They completed their masters as well as PhD degree from IIM Ahmedabad.

Good infrastructure, placement, methods of teaching they use etc.
Placements: Placement opportunity in DDU is good. They invite maximum companies for placement. Almost 70% to 80% get placement easily. The highest salary offered was 5.5 LPA in our previous batch and the lowest was 2.3LPA. Number of students getting internship is 100% as no student left without internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, there is lots of space available in campus, building, gardens everything is well maintained and regularly taking care of it. You will find canteen within the campus which will take care of food requirements, all other things are average.
Faculty: All the teachers are very qualified and very knowledgeable they help the students in every possible aspect irrespective of their subject, they try to a holistic view of topic. The best thing is that they encourage in depth discussion about the topics and students can easily discuss anything related to topic.
Other: Felicific is a very interesting event in DDU, it try to connect all the department with different events, if you join the Ddu, then this is the event you must participate in.

You will be trained. You will be tested.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is quite decent. Though being not well-known college, the placement cell ensures at least 60% successful placement. Regarding summer internships, the college holds ties with Coca-Cola, Prakash Chemicals, TCS, Pantaloons, etc.
Infrastructure: The college campus is quite beautiful, i.e., green environment. The classrooms and the laboratories are well furnished and equipped with necessary tools. The college provides canteen services with clean and hygienic food. There are medical facilities provided by the college.
Faculty: All the faculty members of the MBA programme are well qualified and have a lot of teaching experience. Every faculty member is helpful when it comes to nourishing the student's vision. The teaching quality especially of the Marketing department is flawless and very helpful.

Q:   How is CGPA calculated at Dharmsinh Desai University?

A:

CGPA is calculated by dividing the sum of all semester grade points by the total number of semester credits.

Here is the formula for calculating CGPA at Dharmsinh Desai University:

Code snippet
CGPA = (Sum of all semester grade points) / (Total number of semester credits)

The grade point for each semester is calculated by multiplying the percentage grade by the number of credits. For example, if a student scores 80% in a course with 3 credits, the grade point for that course would be 2.4.

The total number of semester credits is the sum of the credits for all courses taken by the student. For example, if a student takes 15 courses with 3 credits each, the total number of semester credits would be 45.

The CGPA is a weighted average of the semester grade points. This means that the semester grade points with more credits have a greater impact on the CGPA. For example, if a student has two semesters with a CGPA of 3.0 and one semester with a CGPA of 2.5, the overall CGPA will be 2.8.

The CGPA is an important factor in determining a student's eligibility for scholarships, honors, and admission to graduate programs.
