Good college, but poor college, life, and average campus.
Placements: The placement that the college offers is average and pretty good because the people who choose to pursue Masters. Apart from that, almost one hundred percent get placed. The average package is around 4 to 5,00,000 rupees in the EC Department this year. The company Micron recruited 13 students from our college with a 13,00,000 package.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very bad, and it needs to be renovated. Apart from that, the technology and the projectors in classrooms are good, and the computers and laboratories are also good, but there is a need to develop and reconstruct or renovate the campus and the library.
Faculty: The faculty curriculum is very good. The syllabus is designed based upon the demands of the industry, and the faculty members are also very experienced. They are almost all Ph.D. holders, and those who are not, they are pursuing a Ph.D. Apart from them, the teaching style is very good.

Infrastructure: The canteen has good-quality food and is also affordable for students. There are clubs like sports, reading, and photography clubs. The classrooms are very nice and neat. Mess food is also good and cheap. Many students used to eat mess food in break time.
Faculty: After every 4 weeks, there are internal exams. There are 3 internal exams. And 1 external exam. And 1 viva for each lab subject. The curriculum is moderate, which also helps students prepare for industrial practices and the GATE examination. Teachers are also very knowledgeable .
Other: There is a fest called Felific, which is organized by students and teachers. This fest is organized in Feb or March. This fest is for 1 week, during which all the days are celebrated. Faculty members are helpful, good curriculum, fewer extracurricular activities, avg placement.
Placements: Almost all the students seeking placements were placed. Others opted for higher studies. Average placements are around 3.2-4 lakhs, and the higher went around 6 lakhs this year. Many companies visited; however, a high package was not provided, but the placement percentage was almost 100%.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is just for girls, which is okayish. There isn't much scope for extracurricular activities. However, there are clubs for students to be a part of. The labs are alright, and classrooms are fine as well. The library provides all the necessary books.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Mostly all are postgraduated, a few with a doctorate, and a few pursuing it. The course is really helpful; it makes students ready for industry. There are exams every month which ensure students are preparing hand in hand and not leaving everything for the end.
Other: There's only one fest the entire year, which is also not up to the mark. There is almost no social life. Few clubs are there but not as active. Extracurricular activities are really less.

Q:   How is CGPA calculated at Dharmsinh Desai University?

A:

CGPA is calculated by dividing the sum of all semester grade points by the total number of semester credits.

Here is the formula for calculating CGPA at Dharmsinh Desai University:

Code snippet
CGPA = (Sum of all semester grade points) / (Total number of semester credits)

The grade point for each semester is calculated by multiplying the percentage grade by the number of credits. For example, if a student scores 80% in a course with 3 credits, the grade point for that course would be 2.4.

The total number of semester credits is the sum of the credits for all courses taken by the student. For example, if a student takes 15 courses with 3 credits each, the total number of semester credits would be 45.

The CGPA is a weighted average of the semester grade points. This means that the semester grade points with more credits have a greater impact on the CGPA. For example, if a student has two semesters with a CGPA of 3.0 and one semester with a CGPA of 2.5, the overall CGPA will be 2.8.

The CGPA is an important factor in determining a student's eligibility for scholarships, honors, and admission to graduate programs.
