It is a good college if you are going to study, but it is not good to spend your parents' money.
Placements: Almost 15-20% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA from TCS. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA for the developer position. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Prakash and Maruti. Hardly any student got an internship except students selected in TCS on the campus.
Infrastructure: We were living in PG as hostels were costly compared to PG. The hostel could be affordable for high budget value people. PG students were not allowed in the hostel to live. Wi-Fi was not available in the college. Labs were only for the sake of the look, and there was no improvement department wise.
Faculty: Teachers were not well-qualified as expected. They were time-oriented. Dependency was on marks only, but the knowledge was not given. There was a lack of management. There were a total of 4 exams in each semester and 5 semesters with 1 project training.
Other: I learned many things in my bachelor degree. The campus crowd was good and helpful. Department wise improvement is needed.

Some faculty members and placements are absolutely satisfactory.
Placements: Many companies visit the campus for placements. Few MNCs like Infosys, TCS, L&T, and many more visit the college for placements. Few startups also visit the college every year. You have to meet the criteria given by the companies in order to get placed. All the companies accept 65% in academics. Placements in the college are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college offers a lush green environment. Many sports activities and other events are conducted on the campus. The library is very good, and many books are available, but you can borrow only three books at a time. Labs are pretty good and equipped with good computers.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are good. Some faculty members are very good, and some are not much good. Some of them have very good knowledge of technology and other fields. Some of them don't have any knowledge; still, they are teaching the students. They are helpful.
Other: Every year, the college organises the annual event named as Felicific. Different department students organise various events.

Best experience in DDIT we will learn many things.
Placements: The College provides the placement, but not sure that you will get proper job in your field. If the Co. TCS comes to your college and you will selected for the job, but your field may not be considered. Otherwise, it's nice Anyone can get the job. The Funny thing happened was, that my friend got call for a receptionist job in TCS. Just try your luck. All MNC companies may come to the campus.
Infrastructure: The Labs and classrooms are neat and clean. In the canteen, there are always rush. We will have only 20-30 minutes of Break time, but in our canteen, once you order food, it gets ready after 15-20 minutes. The canteen staffs performance is very slow, need improvement in order to serve faster, but the food taste is awesome, must try it. Classrooms and labs have entirely new hi-tech gadgets like projector and computer.
Faculty: All faculty members are very helpful, and they will help with every type of problems, and solves our problem within time. If your problem is not solved, then they will try another source and tries to solve your problem. The course is always completed on time and also helps for revisions.
Other: The last amazing event was held last month at this event. There are many types of competitions like drama, games, different days, etc.

Other: DDIT is a college replete with good campus and facilities required of a professional course. This helps nurture the alumnus and senior - junior relationship on and off the campus, which proves worthwhile apart from faculty's role in the same. This college also has a shared engineering crowd along with external guest faculty from the industry, which helps breed an atmosphere of healthy competition and academics-industry collaboration. The management of the college is disciplinary at times.

Overall, it was a good experience.
Placements: It was a good experience, and all our classmates got placed at some decent companies. We got 95% of placement record in the year 2019. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Almost 98% of the students got successful in getting a good internship, and the numbers will increase. The new management is superb and talented.
Infrastructure: Recently, the college provided Wi-Fi, but no one is using it. Classrooms are average in terms of infrastructure, but the cleaning is worst. There is no sports facility available nowadays, but previously we had a sports area to play games. The quality of labs is good compared to the beginning. The quality of the food ins quite good enough to eat and the university location is also great.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were much helpful. They possess a bit of knowledge. The new course curriculum is very excited, and everyone should be excited about it. The new training scheme for placement is just great, but we also have barriers of journals submissions vivas and 3 internal exams.
Other: DDU organises only one event called Felicific once a year, and there are no extracurricular activities conducted here.

Q:   How is CGPA calculated at Dharmsinh Desai University?

A:

CGPA is calculated by dividing the sum of all semester grade points by the total number of semester credits.

Here is the formula for calculating CGPA at Dharmsinh Desai University:

Code snippet
CGPA = (Sum of all semester grade points) / (Total number of semester credits)

The grade point for each semester is calculated by multiplying the percentage grade by the number of credits. For example, if a student scores 80% in a course with 3 credits, the grade point for that course would be 2.4.

The total number of semester credits is the sum of the credits for all courses taken by the student. For example, if a student takes 15 courses with 3 credits each, the total number of semester credits would be 45.

The CGPA is a weighted average of the semester grade points. This means that the semester grade points with more credits have a greater impact on the CGPA. For example, if a student has two semesters with a CGPA of 3.0 and one semester with a CGPA of 2.5, the overall CGPA will be 2.8.

The CGPA is an important factor in determining a student's eligibility for scholarships, honors, and admission to graduate programs.
