Q:   Are DU CUET LL.B. 2023 entrance exam syllabus and CLAT 2024 exam syllabus similar?

No, the syllabus of DU LL.B. 2023 entrance exam is vastly different from the CLAT Syllabus. The DU CUET LL.B. 2023 entrance exam conducted for admission to three-year LL.B. Courses is nothing like CLAT exam, which is conducted for admission to five-year LL.B. Courses. The subjects of DU CUET LL.B. 2023 are Language Comprehension, GK, Computer Basics, and Logical Reasoning, whereas, the main subjects of CLAT question paper are English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques. Moreover, even if there are common subjects in DU CUET LL.B. Question paper and CLAT question paper, the level of questions is hugely different. DU CUET LL.B. 2023 will be carrying questions of graduate level, whereas, the CLAT 2023 will be carrying class 12 level/ high school level questions.

Q:   Will there be any out of syllabus questions expected in the DU CUET LL.B. 2023 entrance exam?

CUET LL.B. 2023 question paper is expected to be based only on the topics of the subjects as mentioned by the exam authority. Candidates need to cover all the topics from four main subjects I. e. English/ Hindi Language Comprehension. General Knowledge, Computer Basics and Logical Reasoning. There has been no instance of out of syllabus questions for DU LL.B. Entrance exam in the past years as well. The only dynamic section is General Knowledge. However, the exam authority has notified the Current Affairs questions asked in the exam will be from the past one year, so that candidates can prepare accordingly.

Q:   Are subjective questions asked in DU CUET LL.B. 2023 entrance exam?

A:
No, the question paper of DU CUET LL.B. 2023 will be carrying only objective-type I. e. multiple-choice based questions for all papers. This means, candidates will be provided question papers on the screen (designated/ allotted systems at the centres), wherein candidates will have to read and interpret the questions and fill the correct option from the available options on the screen. They will not be required to write answers on OMR sheet. Therefore, no subjective type questions will be asked in the exam, wherein candidates will be required to write sentences or long answers or essays. Now that DU LL.B. Admissions are to be conducted through CUET-PG exam, the exam pattern of LL.B. Question paper will be as under: Mode of exam - Online/Computer-Based Test duration - 120 minutes Subjects - Hindi/English Language Comprehension, Verbal Ability, General Knowledge/ Awareness, Computer Basics and Logical Reasoning (Bilingual English/Hindi) Type of questions - Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) Number of questions - 100 The marking scheme of CUET LL.B. Will be as under: All questions will carry 4 marks each, making a total of 400 marks for a single paper Candidates will get 4 marks for correct responses, and 1 marks will be deducted in case of wrong attempts. No marks to be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted by the candidates.

Q:   What will be mode of the DU LL.B. 2023 entrance exam?

A:
DU CUET LL.B. Entrance exam will be conducted online I. e. in computer-based mode. However, candidates have to attempt the exam at the offline test centers, as allotted by the exam authority. By Computer-Based Test mode, we mean that the candidates will have to visit their allotted exam centers, and take the exam at the assigned desktops. The question paper for their respective course I. e. DU LL.B. Will appear on the screen with options, and candidates will be required to lock their answers online only.

The question paper of DU LL.B. Through CUET-PG 2023 will be based on the Exam Pattern 3 of test format. This means, the question paper will be carrying 100 Multiple-Choice based Questions on the following main subjects: Language Comprehension - options from Hindi and English subjects General Knowledge Computer Basics Logical Reasoning There will be no Legal Aptitude based questions in the question paper of CUET LL.B. 2023. As per National Testing Agency, the question paper of DU CUET LL.B. Will be bilingual I. e. the question paper will be available in English and Hindi. The information bulletin stated, "CUET (PG) 2023 will be conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers. " Moreover, it added, "The correctness of the questions in all the question papers except languages, the English version will be taken as final except in language (domain) and Sahitya papers (domain)" Therefore, the question paper of DU LL.B. Through CUET-PG 2023 will be available in English and Hindi medium only.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of DU CUET LL.B. 2023?

A:
As per the marking scheme of DU CUET-PG 2023, the marking scheme will be based on following criterion: Each question will carry four marks. For each correct response, candidate will get four marks. For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the total score. For un-answered/ un-attempted questions no marks will be given to candidates. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose only one option as correct option. Marking two options as correct answers will be considered as wrong attempt, and negative marking will be applied in such cases. However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Final Answer Key will be awarded marks. In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not.
