• Official syllabus - Only follow the syllabus released by the University of Delhi with admission notification of the current academic year.

• Changes in the DU law syllabus - The first thing you need to do once the DU LLB 2023 syllabus is released is to identify if any new topic has been added or subtracted. Sometimes, even a section may be changed. If there is a change in the syllabus, you must take note and reorient your exam preparation as per the latest or new DU LLB 2023 exam syllabus.

• DU LLB Exam pattern - Also, in addition to the syllabus, make it a point to consult the DU law entrance exam pattern before starting DU LLB exam preparation.

• DU LLB Exam preparation - At the time of exam preparation, make it a point that enough time is devoted to each topic depending on the difficulty level and weightage carried by it. Typically, you must pay more attention to topics that carry more weightage. Also, if you are finding a topic very difficult and it is also consuming your time, better leave it for the time being and focus on other topics. English Language & Comprehension

This section tests a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of basic grammar topics like Active/Passive Voice, Antonyms, Synonyms, etc. The difficulty level of questions asked is of Class 12 standard. 

Analytical Abilities

This section assesses a candidate’s ability to think logically and apply that while answering the questions. The topics that candidates should study in the section are given below.

General Knowledge

This paper has no defined syllabus. The paper tests a candidate’s awareness regarding current national and world events. Candidates can follow these topics to prepare for the section.

DU LLB Preparation Tips

• It is advisable to solve previous years’ DU LLB question papers as it will help you to know the type of questions asked in the exam and identify your weaknesses
• Candidates must make a proper study plan and follow that diligently
• Read newspapers to keep yourself updated with the latest events
• Candidates must have a sound knowledge of Indian Constitution, its structure, sections and schedules as well IPC and CrPC to ace in Legal Awareness & Aptitude
• Clear basic concepts as it will help in solving problems of Arithmetic and Analytical Ability
