AP PGLCET 2025 - APSCHE will tentatively start the AP PGLCET 2025 Application Process for admission to LLM in March 2025 at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. General/OBC category candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in 3-year or 5-year LLB can apply for the exam. SC/ST category candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in LLB can fill out the AP PGLCET 2025 application form.  

The AP PGLCET 2025 exam will tentatively be conducted in June 2025 in online mode at test centres located in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Q:   When will AP PGLCET 2025 exam be held?

A:

The AP PGLCET 2025 exam will tentatively be conducted in June 2025. The AP PGLCET 2025 examination will be conducted in computer-based test mode (CBT) (online). However, candidates need to visit the exam centre to take the AP PGLCET exam 2025. All details related to the exam centre will be available on their exam admit card. The AP PGLCET 2025 admit card will be released 7-10 days before the exam date. Candidates need to carry specific documents, including four copies of their passport-size photo, a printed copy of their AP PGLCET admit card (one more copy for backup), and an original copy of their photo ID proof, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport.

Q:   How many marks do I need to get admission through AP PGLCET?

A:

There is criterion of minimum marks requirement for admission to a college through AP PGLCET for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. However, candidates of General category must score a minimum of 25% marks (30 marks out of 120 marks) to get admission to a college based on their AP PGLCET scores. 

The college allotted to the AP PGLCET 2024 test-taker will depend on the following factors: 

  • Marks obtained by the candidate
  • Cut off of the participating college
  • Reservation criteria

Q:   How many times can I attempt AP PGLCET?

A:

There is no limit to the number of attempts for the AP PGLCET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test). Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the exam each time they apply. 

The eligibility criteria typically require candidates to have completed an LLB or an equivalent law degree from a recognized university.

A:

The Andhra Pradesh State Counselling of Higher Education (APSCHE) was start the AP PGLCET 2024 counselling on October 16, 2024 at lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. All candidates who appeared in the AP PGLCET 2024 to get admission to an LLM B course will have to visit the mentioned website and fill out the AP PGLCET 2024 counselling registration form by the ascertained deadline.

General category candidates who secured 25% marks in the AP PGLCET will have to appear in the counselling process to confirm their admission. SC and ST category candidates do not need specific qualifying marks to attend Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling 2024.

What is AP PGLCET?

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Law Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to LLM course. On the basis of AP PGLCET scores, candidates are offered admissions to various universities and their affiliated colleges of the state. The exam is conducted by Acharya Nagarjun University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE in an online mode.

AP PGLCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions through AP PG Law entrance exam need to fulfil the AP PGLCET 2025 eligibility criteria as under: 

  • They should have passed or appeared in the final year of their bachelor degree in law i.e. Five-year LLB degree or three-year LLB degree from any recognised university. 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks if belonging to General/ OBC category and 45% marks if belonging to SC/ ST category.
  • There is no upper age or lower age limit for this course. 

The candidates who are appearing or are awaiting results of their bachelor degree can apply for AP PGLCET but they have to submit the proof of qualification at the time of final admission. 

AP PGLCET 2025 Application Form

The AP PGLCET  2025 application form will tenatatively made available from March 2025 to May 2025 without a late fee. Candidates can fill out the application form until the deadlines ascertained by APSCHE, with a late fee between INR 500 and INR 3,000.

To fill out application form for AP PGLCET 2025, candidates arerequired to follow the steps mentioned below: 

  • Go to the official website of APSCHE, https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/APSCHEHome.aspx 
  • Click on the "LAWCET" tab available on the homepage of the website. 
  • Fill out AP LAWCET application form and select LLM as your entrance exam course. 
  • On registration you will be able to generate AP LAWCET registration number and password. 
  • Using the registration number and password, fill out the AP PGLCET application form. 
  • Pay the application fee online. 
  • Review your application form, and then review it and submit.

AP PGLCET 2025 Admit Card

AP PGLCET admit card 2025 will tentatively be issued in the first week of June 2025 at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. To download the admit card candidates need to use the following steps: 

Step 1: Visit the APSCHE's CETS website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/APSCHEHome.aspx. 

Step 2: Click on the "LAWCET" tab available on the website's homepage. 

Step 3: Now, click on the "Download Hall Ticket" option. 

Step 4: Enter your Registration Number or Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No. and Date of Birth to download the AP PGLCET hall ticket.

AP PGLCET Admission Process 2025

The admission process for AP PGLCET 2025 is as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Apply for AP PGLCET 2025 - Candidates need to apply for AP PGLCET 2025 for LLM admission at the official website. The application process includes, registration, application fee payment, filling up personal and academic details besides category and domicile information. The application process is completely online. 

Step 2: Download AP PGLCET admit card 2025 - Candidates who apply successfully for AP PGLCET 2025, will be issued hall tickets mentioning exam date and other details. Candidates need to download the admit card through the link given on the official website. 

Step 3: Appear for AP PGLCET exam - Candidates need to appear for AP PGLCET 2025 as per the schedule and at the allotted exam centre. The exam will tentatively be held in the third or fourth week of May 2025 in a Computer-Based Test mode. 

Step 4: AP PGLCET 2025 results and merit list - The exam authority will declared results for AP PGLCET 2025 on the official website in the third week of June 2025 (tentative date). The merit lists of AP PGLCET 2025 will also be released category-wise for mentioning marks and ranks of the qualified candidates on the same date. The merit list will be final for admission seat allotment process.  

Step 5: AP PGLCET 2025 counselling - Candidates who name and ranks will be mentioned in the merit list, are required to participate in the counselling process for final seat and college allotment. Candidates would be required to register for web-counselling, and then report at the allotted law college for document verification and other admission formalities.
