The best college for civil engineering is Desh Bhagat University.

Placements: The course curriculum provided at Desh Bhagat University is okay. The teaching methods need improvement because the teachers simply open the PPT and read. However, the course curriculum is complete before examinations. The university trains all students for interviews with various companies. The highest package is almost 36 lakhs per annum, while the lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Better infrastructure is available in my course department. Classrooms and the campus have Wi-Fi facilities. Students can access the Wi-Fi network after some processes that the Desh Bhagat University IT department can assist with. Hostel facilities are okay. When I was in my 1st year, fewer facilities were provided in the hostel, but this year there has been noticeable improvement in the hostel rooms. The mess is also okay; the food is acceptable, hygienic, but the quality is dull.

Faculty: The curriculum for the civil engineering program at Desh Bhagat University is very good. It blends practical with theoretical knowledge, with regular site visits and yearly educational trips organized in relation to the curriculum. Faculty members teach well and assist students during exam time by providing topics for learning and better understanding.

Other: I chose Desh Bhagat University because it is the best college with good infrastructure in all of Punjab. It is also the first private university in Punjab. I did not face any rejections; my admission was based on my board examination results. You receive additional discounts on fees when you achieve good marks in your board examinations.

Overall college is nice with friendly environment.

Placements: Placement is very good here. Many companies came here to hire students from different branches. Mostly civil and mechanical gets very good placement here. Our college placement ratio is higher than any other private college. Every person with skills gets employed easily.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very beautiful here. We have a beautiful garden and campus area for enjoyment and a study canteen is also available in our college, where we get food items at very affordable prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful in nature. Buildings are well maintained.

Faculty: Semester exams are not that easy or tough. We can say that its level is average, like we can. It is in moderate condition. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry ready. Mostly 60 to 70% of students pass those semester exams. Teachers are very helpful in nature and quality of teaching is also good.
