Assam CEE 2025: Dates, Application Form, Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility

Before applying for Assam CEE, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. No, candidates must carry the hard copy of the Assam CEE 2025 admit card, the examiner will not allow candidates to appear for the exam in such cases. A print out of the admit card has to be taken. Soft copies of admit cards will not be accepted at the exam centres.

No. The authorities will not release the individual Assam CEE response sheet. While calculating their probable secured marks using the Assam CEE answer key, the candidates will have to rely on their memory-based responses that they have submitted during the exam. If the authorities release the candidate's response sheet, then the official notification will be announced online at astu.ac.in. The individual responses are important to calculate the probable scores secured in the exam.

The authorities will release the provisional Assam CEE answer key first. The correct responses to the question paper will be available through the provisional answer key of Assam CEE. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying INR 300 (per objection). After the objections are checked, the final Assam CEE answer key will be released. It is to be noted that the final answer key will be considered absolute and no objections will be accepted against it.

If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the entrance examination, then the authorities will refer to the tie-breaking guidelines to prepare the Assam CEE ranks. If there is tie, the candidates who have a higher aggregate marks in 12th standard PCM will be given a higher rank. If the tie still remains, the candidate with a higher overall aggregate in PCM and English in 12th standard will be allotted a higher rank. If the tie is still not broken, the decision will remain with the Chairman of the Selection Committee. 

Yes. If the candidates have a backlog in their board/college final year examination, then the Assam CEE score will still remain valid. However, the candidates may face problems during the Assam CEE counselling and admission process. For admissions, the candidates are required to have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination and should meet the minimum marks requirement. Candidates are advised to contact the authorities regarding their situation and know their admission status and what should be their next steps.

In case the candidates are not satisfied with the Assam CEE result, the candidates are advised to check the official website if the authorities are willing to accept any requests for review of scores. In the previous year, the authorities did not accept any requests for review of the Assam CEE result. If any information regarding the review of result is not released, then the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities and request for a review of the paper and the scores obtained.
