DIT University Admission Office Scholarships 2024
DIT University Admission Office offer scholarships to meritorious students. These are merit-based scholarship schemes and are offered in the form of tuition fee waivers.
- Merit-based Scholarship: It is specifically curated for undergraduate students and is given based on students' academic performance.
- Uttarakhand/ other Himalayan States Scholarship Policy: A scholarship of 26% on tuition fees shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand / Other Himalayan States for whom 40% of seats are reserved in all the UG and PG programmes. The student will be considered eligible only if the student carries a valid domicile certificate at the time of counselling/ admission.
- Scholarship based on sports performance: The scholarship amount will be awarded as per the Sports Quota Scholarship policy which applies to Tuition Fees only. The Sports Scholarship in subsequent years of the program will be reviewed on an annual basis. To continue the scholarship, a student would be required to participate actively in University / professional level sports activities of the order at least for which the student has been granted scholarship in the first year.
- Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for Girl Students: A scholarship of 10% of tuition fees is applicable for girls in the first year of undergraduate and diploma programmes and the conditions are mentioned here:
- If the student has scored 80% aggregate & above in Class 10 and Class 12 for UG programs and 80% aggregate in Class 10 for Diploma programs.
- Scholarship percentage will remain the same for all categories of admissions. Also, the student should maintain a CGPA of 8.5 and above every year, with no back paper, UFM or Indiscipline case.
