Had a tough time for completing 4 years.

Placements: The placements are good, but you can't totally rely on them. You would get better opportunities if you give interviews off-campus. Till now, the highest package offered is 9 lacs per annum from Newai campus. The average salary offered to the engineers ranges from 10K to 20K per month. Mostly, the job roles offered are a trainee post. The college won't provide you with the internship, you have to find it yourself. No stipend is offered, you need to work for free to gain experience.

Infrastructure: The labs are old. There are no well-qualified lab technicians. The sports facility is good with very good surrounding only inside the campus. No proper medical facility is provided, a doctor from the nearby private hospital is appointed who comes daily on weekdays to the college for minor medical treatment. Food quality is good enough. I didn't face any infrastructure issue during my tenure.

Faculty: The faculty were helpful and qualified but not much knowledgeable. They have no proper teaching methodology. 20:1 is the student-faculty ratio. We had few industrial visits that too when the students forcefully asked for. The curriculum was useful, but no proper knowledge gained.

Overall, the environment and the vibe of the university was pretty good. I enjoyed my four years.

Placements: Most of our seniors were placed in IT firms. A few companies like Authbridge, Riddhi Siddhi etc came to our university. A few pool campus placement drives also took place. Most of the students were offered roles of technical support and IT engineers. The maximum students arranged their internships by themselves but those who were unable to, the university assured them internship programs. The highest intern got a stipend of Rs 7500 for 1.5 months whereas the lowest did not get any stipend.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities were available throughout the campus. The classrooms had AC and fan facilities available. There were separate kits of a first-aid box at different hostels. A daily visit to the doctor took place at the campus and gave us a free treatment. The sports had both indoor and outdoor games. We had highly equipped machines and advanced technology equipment in the labs. The food was average. The hostel rooms had 2 seaters, 3 seaters and deluxe rooms available. Sometimes, the problems with the Wi-Fi connections used to arise.

Faculty: The faculty members were very much useful and they were qualified and knowledgeable as well. They used the whiteboard and sometimes projectors were also used. Online classes of QEEE also happened twice a week. We got industrial exposure too. We went to Chandigarh in a cement factory and understood the production and maintenance of cement. My course curriculum was useful for me as to understand how the work of an engineer takes place.
