Very good college in the south zone.

Placements: They support internships during the final and third years. Many small companies visit, but technical jobs are less compared to non-teaching jobs. The highest package will be around 7 to 8 LPA, while the lowest will be around 1 to 2 LPA. On average, 3 to 4 LPA is common. Not many students sit for placements, and only a few get placed every year for technical jobs. Many students opt for higher studies, and some choose the entrepreneurial domain. There are 50 to 100 companies visiting every year, a...

Good with maintenance and dissatisfied because of placements and staff.

Placements: The percentage of placements in your college is less than 30% and the highest package is 13 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies for every course, no specific internships in our course and no top roles offered in our course .

It is very relevant, reliable and gives immense knowledge.

Placements: Students got internships in different layers, chambers, and district courts. For college placements, the passing percentage required is 70%. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, while the minimum package is 3 LPA. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and Tata are actively recruiting. Additionally, around 60% of students will have the opportunity to intern at Infosys. The top roles in this field are HR and development.

Not very satisfied with. No campus life.

Placements: Not many students were placed in my course. I guess the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. the highest being 6 LPA. Companies like Wipro, cognizant, Equitos, and Ciranda IT. As far as I know, not many people were also offered internships. Biotechnologists and bioinformatics are the top roles offered in my course.

Best college for LLB (Hons.)!

Placements: Our college is well known for its placement sessions. Almost 80% of the students get placed every year. At the end of the semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Since it is a law course, most of them opt for litigation. I'm planning to get into litigation at a reputed law firm or with a reputed senior counsel.

All the colleges are same in performance.

Placements: I think nearly 60% students were placed last year. The top recruiting company is TCS. Well trained lecturers are there. The highest package is 25 LPA and average is 5-6 LPA. The computer labs are huge. We have score well in order to gain knowledge.

Absolutely messed up the for the emplyement. I suggest you to just study for the degree.

Placements: 1 out of the whole class gets placed here. The highest is 4 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Tcs. Service, call center jobs are there. It's about 10 percentage got the internship and all are unemployed. Its the worst situation every student faces here that's it .

I have an average level of experience.

Placements: Placements are very bad. They don't invite anyone for campus interviews. We have gone by ourselves only. It is a major disadvantage, and we all regret it. If it would be rectified, then it would be an advantage to the college, and students would also show interest in the college.

Placements are average here.

Placements: About 30% of the students get placed every year from our college. The highest salary package offered here is only 2 LPA. Overall, there are bad things in this college. Companies like TCL, HCL, etc., visit here for placements. Top recruiting companies for our college are TCS and Wipro and even low-level companies.

Dissatisfied with placements, 15 percent of the batch got placed.

Placements: Hardly 15 percent of the batch got placed, top recruiting companies was L& T, which offered Engineer position, the highest package was around 6 Lacs and the lowest was 3 Lacs to those who got the offer. No internship was mandatory during the year 2013. Later for improving the quality of college some of the courses were dropped.

A good college for engineering after SRM and Satyabhama.

Placements: This is a good college for average students, but placements are a bit low like any other colleges. The college is good at providing good knowledge and infrastructure. This college is a south Indian college, but the majority are north Indian students. Thus students of any locality don't face any problems here.

Just a normal B.Tech college and nothing more than that.

Placements: I'm not sure about the placements, but I heard that very few students got placed. Others did not get placed due to backlogs, and some of them are not interested in doing a job with a very low package. No esteemed companies have come for placements in the recent years, and the packages offered by the companies are low.

The college doesn't provide any good facility, it is just to make money.

Placements: This year, the placements were not much good. Most of the companies were BPOs or mass recruiting companies. No good company has come to the college this year. Companies which came were also not big, they were just recruiting for the namesake. Most of the people who got placed were not called to the company again.

Overall, it is a good college in Chennai with good infrastructure facilities.

Placements: The placements are not good in this college, but big companies are coming here which is useful, but we are not satisfied with the salary packages. Reputed companies are coming to our college, but the problem is that the students were not able to take that opportunity as they are not that much qualified.

Dissatisfied with the college, and wanted more, which I never got.

Placements: We haven't got any placements in our final year. But in 2015, the placement was good, and it declined by our time. The only drives we got are Indian Navy, which is under some university scheme and 3-4 consultancies. There is no specific or special training or development courses for the placement.

It is okay to get the education from here, but the education system of this college is not good.

Placements: The placement is quite poor in this college. They took only consistency and just try to show we are giving placement. There were only 10%-20% of students who got placed. Some of the government placement departments came, but they didn't select any instead of that they also said the students from this college is a bit poor.

Overall, a good college for gaining knowledge.

Placements: There are not that good placements. The maximum salary offered is approximately 9 lacs. The major companies for placement are L&T, Infosys, and Hyundai. The number of students got placed through campus interview is very low. There is no talent identifying programs offered in the college. Many number of students also got a reasonable amount of scholarship which was useful to them.

Dr MGR University, only placements are required.

Placements: The placements offered for the civil branch are not good. Many small companies are visiting. The placements are majorly offered for the computer science & IT department, but for the civil and mechanical branches, it is a tough fight. In my batch, only 10% of the students were placed, and same for my senior batch with an average salary offered 2 lacs per annum. I don't think that it is worthy for a B.Tech student. So, you can also give one more chance to yourself to rethink about the college. I d...

The college needs to focus on overall improvement in general and course curriculum in particular.

Placements: Placement here is not too impressive. From our batch, only 30+ % of students got placed. Minimum salary offered was 2L and maximum of 5.5L. The highest number of jobs were offered by HCL, followed by Mphasis and Syntel. However, we received joining letters very late.
