Fakir Mohan University offers Integrated B.Ed & MEd, MSc, MBA, MCom, MA, MCA, MLIS, MPhil and PhD courses in various specialisations.

To be eligible for admission to the MBA programme at Fakir Mohan University, candidates must:

• Get a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks
• Pass the OJEE entrance exam 
• For the 2022 MBA program, the minimum cutoff for general category students was 12,895th rank. 
• Candidates who meet the cutoff must participate in the OJEE counseling and give preference to Fakir Mohan University, Balasore.

Fakir Mohan University (FMU) has 40 seats for its MBA program. However, the number of seats may vary each year. 

To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' duration. They must have scored at least 50% in the qualifying exam, or 45% if they belong to a reserved category.

Upto now both the university's are performing very good and providing quality education . Better will be personal choices but Fakir Mohan University has some good education and good faculty and facilities compared to the North Orissa University. So Fakir Mohan University is some what better to choose
