Well-balanced academic and social experience at Gangadhar Meher University.
Placements: Placement is generally not considered at our college. Its just a degree from college. Less than 10% of the students get placed. However, a few companies, such as Maruti, do recruit a few students.
Infrastructure: Gangadhar Meher University has a decent infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities. The classrooms are well maintained, providing a comfortable environment for lectures. The campus includes a library with a good selection of books, journals, and digital resources, making it easy for students to access academic materials. Laboratories are available for science and technical courses, equipped with the necessary equipment to support practical learning. There are also computer labs with internet facilities for students pursuing courses in IT and computer science. In addition to academic facilities, the campus includes sports grounds and areas for activities like cricket, football, and athletics, encouraging students to participate in sports. Overall, while the infrastructure is functional and supports a good academic environment, further improvements could enhance the student experience.
Faculty: The teachers are excellent and well qualified, and they teach from their core in a very well-mannered way. The semesters are not too difficult or too easy, and about 90% of students pass. There are a total of six semesters, one every six months.

Absolutely satisfied because of good faculties, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: The students who want placement could easily get the placement. The highest package is about 10 lakhs PA and the lowest package is about 3-4 lakhs PA. Many companies like Bajaj, Vedanta, JSW, etc. are some of the recruiting companies. About 60% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good; however, the infrastructure is very old but nowadays these are getting renovated. The WiFi is also available on the entire campus. The library of the university is also very nice. Hostels are also very good and provide canteens.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are well educated and highly qualified. Their teaching ability is really very good and understandable. The course curriculum is also very relevant. Semester examinations are neither hard nor too easy. The pass percentage at the university is more than 95%.
Other: I have chosen the BSc Statistics course because the professors of our department are very good and very helpful. However, the department should have a digital classroom. Every eligible student got their scholarship also.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, course, and infrastructure.
Placements: Very less students are placed, almost 1 or 2 every year. There are very less companies coming, so the students are placed with the lowest package. I have heard of Infosys and Accenture. The internship depends on the students where they want to appear. I have done my internship from Hindalco Industry Limited. I am also not aware of this.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi connection with good speed, and a well-structured lab. Classrooms are not that good. A common student library is there for every branch's students. There is no hostel for B.Sc. IST students. Recently, a canteen has been opened with good food. Sports and games facilities are there.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not enough experienced. The quality of teaching is average. The semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage of the semester is 35%. Students have to refer to YouTube or other resources for their exam.
Other: I chose this course because of a senior who was a pass-out student of this course. The faculty can be better with better teachers. Seminars are conducted in the name of events. I have attended only one fest. There is no scholarship for this course. Extracurricular activities like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, football, and cricket happen. Annual sports events occur.

Placements: Actually I don't know about the placements because I have not heard about it a lot, but I am that certain that some companies visit to select the students for jobs offering good packages and salary. The number of companies visiting the University is quite less.
Infrastructure: The college has an area of 49 acres which is quite less as compared to the other universities as it is situated in the middle of the city. They have hostel and academic facilities inside the campus. The entire university is Wi-Fi enabled with a good speed internet. There is one playground and several badminton courts available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very much experienced and talented. All of them have passed out from reputed institutes. They are well experienced and they usually connect with the students. They have a vast knowledge of discipline. They do whatever is needed for the students and listen to the problems of the students.

Review of Gangadhar Meher University.
Placements: No one got placed; everyone was up to higher studies. No companies come for recruitment. 100% of students got internships as it's part of the curriculum. TGT in schools post, higher studies, primary and upper primary teachers, etc. are the top roles offered. The placement opportunities are zero.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very poor. Toilets are not cleaned, and lab equipment is not working. Classrooms are also old, and the buildings are very old. Library is decent. The hostel is extremely poor, and the food is of poor quality. Sports are good for indoors but not for outdoor games.
Faculty: The faculty of the B.Ed. department are very cooperative and humble. In physics, some faculty are nice, but some are arrogant. Course structure is great for both courses. Specially the B.Ed. syllabus is great, along with the co-curriculum works that are necessary for teachers. Semester exams were very easy.
Other: Value for money in respect to B.Ed. courses but not for B.Sc. The number of faculty members should be more, and rooms should have projectors. The labs should have good equipment. No events and fests are conducted; campus is crowded.

not satisfied with placement.
Placements: GMU is one of the best university for students in sambalpur and it is also approved by UGC. The highest package offered is upto 2.3 LPA. Don't know about the recruiting companies but after the course banks like SBI hdfc and companies like aditya birla or vedanta give offers to students to work with them to earn and as well as learn.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are provided by the university. It provides faculty members of Wi-Fi, library good canteen experiments labs and many others facilities to improve skills. Hostel rooms are also provided for students with B.Ed. If you go for sports the college provides good facilities for sports many state level sports are also held in GMU.
Faculty: Teacher, lecturers and the professors are highly qualified. Their teaching techniques are good and helpful. If your go for course curriculum it is 50-50 relevant as per me. For me semester exams are a bit difficult but still u pass with good percentage.
Other: If you want to study in sambalpur then you should go for GMU. It can be better with yop companies recruitment and placement but overall it is okay.
