OJEE 2025 registrations are open for admission to BPharma, MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch courses, and the last date to register is Mar 20, 2025. The OJEE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held tentatively between May 2 and May 11, 2025.
ATMA 2025 Feb session registrations are ongoing for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM courses, and the last date to apply has been extended to Feb 11, 2025. Also, the ATMA 2025 Feb session exam has been rescheduled to be held on Feb 23, 2025.

Good placements in 2024, good infrastructure.

Placements: Companies like Mahindra, ICICI BANK, HDFC BANK, and many other such companies recruit from our college, and many students get placement in these firms. The package is confidential, so I can’t share that here. The percentage of students who got internships is good.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and buildings' infrastructure is great and well-developed. The library area is huge too; the library has three floors, and all the floors are well-structured. They have all types of facilities, and the computer lab is great too, with all the latest technology.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in our college. All the teachers are well-educated and well-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and it’s very helpful for students or aspirants of CA and Banking, as this course helps them to crack the exams. Semester exams are not that difficult.

Not a great experience - Gangadhar Meher University.

Placements: There are very less placement opportunities for B.Com students in this college. The students from other streams enjoy benefits when it comes to placement. Different tech companies including Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Dell, etc., offer campus placements here.

Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure, including computer labs, a library, smart classrooms, and conference halls. The college also organizes sports competitions and programs on a yearly and quarterly basis. There is also a canteen inside the college premises, but the food quality there is not up to the mark.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are qualified and well-educated, but when it comes to a government college, they behave completely differently. The teaching quality is below average. The teachers here are arrogant and rude at times. The semester exams are pretty easy, and the pass percentage of students is around 78%.

Other: The only reason for me to choose B.Com at Gangadhar Meher University is the distance. The college is hardly 15 minutes away from my place, so it becomes very easy to reach.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, course, and infrastructure.

Placements: Very less students are placed, almost 1 or 2 every year. There are very less companies coming, so the students are placed with the lowest package. I have heard of Infosys and Accenture. The internship depends on the students where they want to appear. I have done my internship from Hindalco Industry Limited. I am also not aware of this.

Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi connection with good speed, and a well-structured lab. Classrooms are not that good. A common student library is there for every branch's students. There is no hostel for B.Sc. IST students. Recently, a canteen has been opened with good food. Sports and games facilities are there.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not enough experienced. The quality of teaching is average. The semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage of the semester is 35%. Students have to refer to YouTube or other resources for their exam.

Other: I chose this course because of a senior who was a pass-out student of this course. The faculty can be better with better teachers. Seminars are conducted in the name of events. I have attended only one fest. There is no scholarship for this course. Extracurricular activities like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, football, and cricket happen. Annual sports events occur.

Satisfied with the return on investment.

Placements: As you already know B.Com is not a higher salary degree, so you can expect an average salary package of 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Only 30-40% of students get placed. Most of the students choose to study further and many students change their college for post-graduation. Good and well-known companies come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but as far as I have seen, the hostel is pretty average according to the fees. Our classrooms are also very well-equipped with air conditioners and smart boards. In the hostel, you will get 3 times food. Students can go anywhere on the campus till 9 PM. The campus is located in the prime town of the place.

Faculty: Faculty members at the college are highly qualified and very helpful. They help you every time. Our commerce department has a HOD. He is a very helpful and calm nature person. He also helps me in many situations. One thing is that students are also good.

Other: There are always functions and events going on in the college. Many students are not aware of those things.

Well-balanced academic and social experience at Gangadhar Meher University.

Placements: Placement is generally not considered at our college. Its just a degree from college. Less than 10% of the students get placed. However, a few companies, such as Maruti, do recruit a few students.

Infrastructure: Gangadhar Meher University has a decent infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities. The classrooms are well maintained, providing a comfortable environment for lectures. The campus includes a library with a good selection of books, journals, and digital resources, making it easy for students to access academic materials. Laboratories are available for science and technical courses, equipped with the necessary equipment to support practical learning. There are also computer labs with internet facilities for students pursuing courses in IT and computer science. In addition to academic facilities, the campus includes sports grounds and areas for activities like cricket, football, and athletics, encouraging students to participate in sports. Overall, while the infrastructure is functional and supports a good academic environment, further improvements could enhance the student experience.

Faculty: The teachers are excellent and well qualified, and they teach from their core in a very well-mannered way. The semesters are not too difficult or too easy, and about 90% of students pass. There are a total of six semesters, one every six months.

Placements: GMU is one of the best university for students in sambalpur and it is also approved by UGC. The highest package offered is upto 2.3 LPA. Don't know about the recruiting companies but after the course banks like SBI hdfc and companies like aditya birla or vedanta give offers to students to work with them to earn and as well as learn.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are provided by the university. It provides faculty members of Wi-Fi, library good canteen experiments labs and many others facilities to improve skills. Hostel rooms are also provided for students with B.Ed. If you go for sports the college provides good facilities for sports many state level sports are also held in GMU.

Faculty: Teacher, lecturers and the professors are highly qualified. Their teaching techniques are good and helpful. If your go for course curriculum it is 50-50 relevant as per me. For me semester exams are a bit difficult but still u pass with good percentage.

Other: If you want to study in sambalpur then you should go for GMU. It can be better with yop companies recruitment and placement but overall it is okay.
