It has good environment and infrastructure but not recommended for good placements.

Placements: Students were placed in very small startup companies, and a few were placed in MNCs. There are placements only for CSE and MBA students, and a few in biotechnology. CSE students got placed in startup companies with very low salary packages, ranging from Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month.

Review of Gautam Buddha University.

Placements: The placement scenario of the university is not that good, and it is below average. Students lack good opportunities, proper guidance and placements oriented preparation despite having some good faculty members in the fields of management, engineering, vocational and ICT. Overall, students have to rely on themselves for placements.

It has a top-notch infrastructure, but compromised in overall learning and growth.

Placements: Only one-two companies visit for placements with a salary package of 5 LPA and hired only 2-3 students. Very less placement rate. Placement cell is very inefficient. Almost everybody has to search for jobs on their own, which is a big struggle after getting the degree. University is in establishing stage, but placement cell will not let it become successful.

The college is good regarding the infrastructure and facilities but not good for study.

Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory but not too good. They do not try to contact students. Interaction with students is the main thing in a college for its better results and performance. But here, we will notice that the organisation is busy in their own work and do not take the students issues seriously.

I would rate the infrastructure 10 out of 10, and the college 4 out of 10.

Placements: Placements were kind of slow for the senior batch. It took a pace in our time, but the average salary offered was Rs. 15,000- 20,000 per month. All types of job profiles were offered. Companies visited the campus, and now junior batch students are having more options than us. As I said earlier, it is moving with its own pace but growing.

A sinking ship of Education.

Placements: The placements in GBU are really poor. The CRC of GBU is filled with worthless people. In my batch out of 60 30-35 children were placed for 9-14 thousands per month only out of which half of them left within a month. 2 were placed for 30000+ but they had to work for 7 days and atleast 10 hours a day. These poor placements make the college the worst. Even the brightest star of the batch was placed for 8000 a month in an startup. The senior batch hardly had any placements. I am hoping for good future experiences.

Placements: Right now, I am in the 3rd year and hoping for a job in a good firm. Previously, according to my knowledge, there were no placements for the last two years, but this year, around seven to eight students got placed on the campus. I have heard that their least placement for our college is at regional or state level.

Great university with great infrastructure, facilities, opportunities, and overall environment.

Placements: To be honest, the placements are not very good currently, but the scenario is changing day by day. The average package that former GB you pass out students got was something around 3 to 3.5 lacs for annum. I'm in the final year of B.Tech. MBA integrated dual degree from GBU, and I have been placed with an overall package of 4.5 lacs per annum, so the placements are getting better day by day, and I can assure you that, in the future, the university will be able to attract much better companies wi...

Best infrastructure, the worst faculty (till now). New possibilities of more placements.

Placements: I'll talk strictly about B.Tech + MBA programme: I'm currently placed in Kent RO Systems Ltd, Noida at an annual package of 4.3 lac CTC. The placements were better in 2008-11 but then started worsening (earlier it was supposed to be around 6.8 LPA). The average placement rate is around 30%. New startups and small firms do visit for the placement drives. No students get the internship with college's help but only through personal contacts. The placement cell isn't working well and is least concer...

Placements: The placements are not that good for VLSI batch. The candidate has to explore the opportunities themselves because of the strong industry. The placements have significantly improved over the years.

Placements: The placement of Gautam Buddha University is average many know companies come and offer placements with an average pack. The placements for Computer Science and information technology are above average. Also, many times Gautam Buddha University offers job of assistant professor to the students with good CGPA

Excellent infra, poor faculty, pathetic placements.

Placements: Placements in GBU are very poor, ranging from a CTC of 1.5 lac to 3 lac/annum. Hardly 10-15% of the batch gets placed. Those getting a package of around 3 lacs are off-campus. Placement cell here functions poorly, no tie-ups with good brands. You will struggle even for a decent internship unless you have personal resources. Companies offering 6000/month also visited the campus. If you go offline after developing a skill set, you may be offered a package of 4 lacs. Once you are into MBA here, th...

Placements: The placement of my college is not very good. The average salary offered to students were 3.5 lakhs. The placement cell of our college is very weak and the students also lack professional and analytical skills that are required for getting into a good company.

Electronic engineering at GBU.

Placements: The placements in the college were very good. I was the placement coordinator of the university. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the average CTC offered was in a range between 5 to 6 LPA. Companies visit the college from various sectors. About 60 to 70% of the students got placed in the college placements. The college is improving its placements continuously.

Architecture wise it's an awesome university. The local crowd and faculty takes away every good it provides. I advised you not to take admission till old faculty is still present. MBA faculty is the best, but all other programs has very poor faculty. They are more politically inclined and are judgmental towards the students.

Our teachers are so loving and caring .

Placements: I don't know much about placements but their placement criteria is not good at all for the technical courses which need placements. I am from a non technical course so my course doesn't have any placement but all information that I got from my friends from technical. Course is that they don't provide good placements and very few companies give internship here.

Good infrastructure but needs maintenance, a lot of calibre in the university.

Placements: Not many opportunities are given if you have to get an internships upgrade your skills by your own and find off campus opportunities. In my batch only there is only one student who got an internship and that too is free of cost no stipend. Also she got it by herself without any help from the institute infact the hod doen not even sign on the forms needed for internships.

Placements: My batch students are placed in different companies like ONGC, BHEL, NTPC, etc. And they are getting a good amount of salary. And so many private companies also come for placements. So approximately all students get placement in different companies with a good amount of salary.

Placements: This college does provide job opportunities for students after they complete the course. At least 60% of marks were required to sit for placements. The college extends all support to secure a good job in form of training. The salary offered was not very high though.
