If you cant get an admission in a government college, then this is the average college.

Placements: The placement is average, and almost 30% of the students were placed in various companies like IBM (concentric), TCS, but its average salary is 2LPA to 2.6 LPA, the internship is not available.

It is a great government institute.

Placements: The placements are average. Almost every student is getting good grades. The students get an average package of 3to 4 LPA. I can say that if you work hard and get good grades, you can achieve great packages along with a government college degree. The library facility is quite awesome and will be open for 24 hours enough books. The college helps the students in terms of the placements and make it easy.

In short I can say that if your taking admission in this college then you will get lots of resources

Placements: As I am a first-year student and according to my knowledge, the School of Information Communication and Technology i.e. SoICT has given placement to the students. I think in the previous year, the highest salary was 11.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3 lakhs per annum.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: Placements for integrated B.Tech with MBA are quite high as compared with other courses offered at the university. Last year, 44 big and average companies visited here for placement, and 70% to 80% students got a decent job until the end of the session. Last year, the highest placement package offered was 15 LPA, and the average was around 5.5 LPA.

Satisfied with the college facilities and its higher placements.

Placements: In GBU, the placements are very good. In this year, the maximum package gone up to 4 lakhs per annum. There is also a placement cell which handles it in a better way. The maximum placements are achieved by the computer science and information technology branches. In the management stream, the highest placement package offered was up to 5 lakhs per annum.

Pretty good placements in the year 2016.

Placements: In the last 2-3 years, the portion of the placement is pretty good, and increasing batch by batch, and last year above 80% of the students were placed in reputated companies. A lot of companies visited and among them HCL is also there. Pretty good salary were offered by the companies. The maximum salary was more than 3 lakhs, and it is increasing drastically. There will be a chance to get more and more reputated companies are dealing with us for offering the jobs on our campus. ...

Satisfying infrastructure, dissatisfying teaching.

Placements: When it comes to placement, then it is good for MBA students and CS and EC engineering students. Mostly MBA students get placed through university, but about electrical, civil and mechanical engineering there is not any effort shown by the university for placement. The maximum package grabbed by our university's senior students is Rs. 15 LPA, Rs. 12 LPA in the year 2017. Before that, there was also the package of 12 LPA, 11 lakh per annum, and the lowest was between 3-5 LPA. Most companies have ...

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to poor placements.

Placements: There were placements in our college, and the management was unable to provide any good opportunities for any student for any batch, be it seniors or juniors. The college invites only a few companies, which most of the students were unable to recognise. The highest salary package offered will be around 3 LPA.

GBU is a 5-star hotel with a 5-year tour package but the future here seems to be blurry!

Placements: The placements are not that good but all the students from ICT get placed. Average companies like TCS, WIPRO, HCL, etc. come here. We are expecting much higher placements in future. It's a good thing that we have 100% placements but they are of average quality. But our administration is looking forward to improving it! We are expecting good companies like Google, Microsoft and other IT companies to come and offer creamy jobs to us!

GBU, a government university with excellent infrastructure but lacking placements.

Placements: Regarding placements, our university is not so good, as it is a newly established government university. Btech + Mtech placements are not so good as few companies have come last year with an average package of 3-5 lakhs per annum. But MBA placements are quite good as compared to B.Tech and M.Tech as its average package was 6-8 lakhs per annum.

Good college but a bit poor administration.

Placements: The placements solely depend upon the state govt. in power. As we all know that BJP has won the UP elections, so chances are that placement scale will rise. Till now the placements have not been so good. Especially for the core branches. The highest package this year was 5.1 lacs pa by Lucideus. Apart from this, for the core branches like mech. and electrical, the placements are just between Rs. 10-25 K per month by nearby companies.

The college has a bright future because of it being a government college and its location.

Placements: The placements in Gautam Buddha University is below decent. As the college is a state govt. university and a young one, so till now it has failed to attract the attention of the corporate world. The placement cell does not make any efforts as they have limited government resources. The placements start at the end of the year. So placement rate till February was almost 60 percent. 5.5 lakhs was the highest salary offered and 2.5 lakhs was the minimum.

Great infrastructure and green campus, a great provision of facilities for students for research.

Placements: We had quite a lot of startups coming in for placements. We had just one batch of seniors who did not see much placements in the previous year, but for our year, quite a few MNCs and majorly startups came up. Average salary was 3.5 lpa. Maximum salary was 6 lpa. About 70% students got placed in campus, while a lot opted to go ahead for PhD since our college only provides a PG degree, so students wanted to study further ahead.

A university with beautiful infrastructure, faculty, labs and hostels but not good placements.

Placements: With 10% of placements, there are no good placements done in School of Biotechnology, GBU, Greater Noida. The number of recruitment companies is decreasing per year, and not even a single student is getting a good pay (senior batch students). But, our department is very nice in academics.

University has a vast campus of 502 acres. The campus is very attractive and very beautiful. It has gardens, water pond, a large library, beautifully designed schools and very good facilities in the hostels like high speed internet (social network blocked), good and hygienic mess food, individual rooms, 24*7 electricity and water facility. But, the faculty and administration is very poor. There's no placement in the school of engineering.

This is a decent place to get your MBA degree and good chance to get placed in a mid-level companies and from there on you can work yourself up the corporate ladder depending upon your talent and willingness to work hard. Though I would strongly suggest to get into IIMs, for experiences there will shape you completely differently.

Gautam Buddha University is a State Funded University, Chief Minister of UP being the Chancellor of the University. It has state of the art infrastructure unlike other collages of the state, but since the foundation of university is very recent, its market value is not as of expected from its first view, this do pose problems during the placements though.
