The college provides really good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. Most of the students get placed in CMM level 5 companies. Placement cell starts preparing students for upcoming job drives in their 5th semesters itself so that students can be capable enough to face any challenge which may occur during their assessment.

The institute provides good infrastructure and faculty. Discipline makes the institute unique.

Placements: The placement record of every branch is good. Core companies visit the campus for placements. Many students are offered the annual salary package of 2.4-2.6 LPA. In the academic year 2019, almost 180 students out of 204 got placements. Even there is a T&P cell for the guidance of students during placements.

It is a very good college which will never disappoint your efforts.

Placements: TCS is the mass recruiter of our college, especially for IT and ECE students. Other companies like Mindtree and Justdial visit the campus for placements. Milliman also visits the campus for providing internships for 3rd-year students. Many other companies like Jindal, Piaggio, Cavisson, etc., visit the campus for placements.

If you want to study, join GIET. But if you want to get placed, choose some other college.

Placements: I am from 2016 batch. Almost all the students have been placed from our batch. Some were placed in well-known MNCs like TCS, Techmahindra, and the rest of the students were placed in some local companies. The college does not investigate the background of companies before bringing them to the campus drive. My close friends were placed in MNCs, but unfortunately, I got placed in a company named Breakdown Service Ltd, which is located in Vadodara, Gujarat. We found that this company is a fraud com...

The college has good infrastructure and a serene environment to study.

Placements: The college provides students with opportunities to work with multinational companies; hence giving a kick start to the students' career. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Hexaware, Jindal Saw, Cognizant, Cavission, etc., visit the college every year to hire fresh talent. Internships are also provided nowadays.

An honest review of Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology.

Placements: Placements for my batch, 2013-2017, were average and around 70% of the students got placed in good companies. Placements for my senior batch were better than ours. The highest package offered for our batch was 3.5 LPA, and the average package was around 3 LPA. For our senior batch, the package went up to 7 LPA. Companies like TCS, TechMahindra, MindTree, Cavisson, etc., visited the college and recruited many students. Few students got internships from the college itself, and the rest tried from ...

I am satisfied with this college. They only focus on attendance.

Placements: The training and placement cell of this college is almost good. They mainly invite startup companies for campus placements, and core companies visit very less. The salary packages offered are mainly around 3 lacs per annum. The companies have bonds for offering jobs, and in very rare cases, MNCs visit for recruitment. Recently, our seniors of almost all the branches got jobs through campus drives.

The college is a knowledge center, and it provides good career opportunities for students.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. The college invited some good MNCs like TCS and Tech Mahindra. Since the college offers 11 streams in B.Tech, you can get placements in core companies that come for civil, mechanical, chemical and biotech branches. But, you will get the maximum opportunities in IT companies that come for CS, IT and ECE. Overall, placements in the college were good with around 80-85% of students getting placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placement records, teaching quality, and scope for research.

Placements: The placement rate of the college is more than 90%. But sadly, most of the jobs are offered in non-technical fields like marketing. The average salary package offered is 1.20-1.50 LPA. Very few companies visited the campus for placements of the chemical engineering branch. Mostly they'll send you to Gujarat for interviews, and if you are selected, you will be offered a salary of Rs. 12,000-13,000 per month. The few visiting companies also offer the same salary package whether you are a topper or...

It is a good college for education as well as placements.

Placements: The placement record of our college is quite good. The average salary package offered is up to 3.5 LPA, and it may exceed depending on the performance of students in the interview and their academic records. However, the college is providing placements, and its placement rate is almost 90% every year.

Placements: I got placed in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Almost 100% placements are achieved every year, in both on-campus and off-campus drives. Top companies recruit the students in our college, and they give us good ratings. The college has a good infrastructure, but there is less management.

Placements: A good mixture of IT companies and core industries visited the campus for placements. The college has one of the best placement services for engineering and management students in Odisha. The salary packages range from 2.50 LPA to 3.50 LPA. At least 94% of the crowd in my batch got placed in companies that visited the college for placements, and the companies were TCS, Hexaware Technologies Limited, Cognizant Technology and Solutions, Infac India Pvt Ltd, and Trigent Software.

Placements: Placements in our college are the best. It is one of the best colleges in Odisha to provide placements. GIET is the best place to pursue engineering.

Placements: The college provides great placement opportunities. You can find a good job. The TnP cell of our college helps students to a great extent. But, there are some drawbacks like 'one person one company' rule. Opting GIET helps you in enhancing your aptitude skills.

This has been the best college experience so far.

Placements: Placements were good for our senior batch. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. IBM, TCS, Cognizant, and many more companies visited the college for placements. Around 85% of the students got placed. This is the only college in Odisha to have the highest number of placement records. There is a placement cell which helps students to get placed easily.

My journey of four years in GIET.

Placements: Placements in the college for mechanical engineering students are not that good compared to other colleges. CS and IT departments have good placements, and TCS is the mass recruiter. The average salary package offered by Hover was around 3 lacs per annum. The placements cell in the college is active.

Dissatisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: Placements offered in the college were very bad, and it was equal to the worst. The lowest salary offered was of Rs. 5,000 per month. Companies which visit the campus for placements were not at all good, and there were some fake placements also. I got placed in a company which offered the salary package around Rs. 8,000 per month, but my college wants me to pay Rs. 8,000 for getting my certificates.

Placements: In terms of placement college is good, they bring lot of different companies and salary differs from 10k-29k. Campus placement starts from tcs followed by many core and BPO companies. College never help us regarding internship, however we managed ourselves to get a better internship. There's a placement cell in admin department of our college.
