Placements: ECE department is holding the topmost notch among the other branches in GIET. The ECE students got placed in the IT sectors. From the last five years, the statics ECE is 90% above every time. In 2017, 105 students out of 111 got placed with the average package of 3.45 lacs per year.

Placements: Talent speaks the truth. If you are eligible and knowledgeable, then you need not worry about the placements. The placement cell can be rated as 6 out of 10. The companies that are coming are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and Mindtree. 50% of the students in the ECE branch were placed. The highest package offered was of Rs. 5 lakhs.

Placements: At the time of admission, the colleges tell that placement is above 90%. In our batch, it was approximately 85%, but the companies were not good. The maximum package is about 3 LPA. Many fake companies visited, and the college doesn't take it seriously. Their main motto is to throw their student in any company whether the company exists or not. More than 70% companies that visit every year are a call centre or tech support. The best company is TCS.

Placements: The placement is good according to my opinion. We have to work hard and get the opportunity to sit for the job interview. In this college, many companies came to take the students in the placements. The companies that visiter are TCS, JK Paper, Tesco, Justdial and Mahindra.

Placements: The placements of the college were good, but when only looked from the view of IT industry, there were just very few placements of the core based industry. The college has the highest placement package of 3.2 Lacs, minimum of 1.2 Lacs, and the average of 1.8 Lacs. Mostly they were offered roles in sales and marketing or in BPO. Placements: The placement record is good in the college. My senior batch got about 75-80% placement. The TCS is the biggest recruiter. Last year, it selected 101 students from the college. Other recruiters are the Tech Mahindra, Milliman, etc. The average package offered is about Rs. 2.75 lakhs per annum. Placements: The placement is not very good. Every year, only 60-70% students get placement. Mostly, good campus drives are for IT and ECE sector, and few come for the core branches. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra, TCS, IBM and many more come to the campus placements. The package ranges from 2 lacs to 5 lacs per annum.

Placements: The placement is good as I have my seniors are getting placed in various companies. Various companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, etc. are coming. And the well-qualified students are getting placed. In the starting, they are getting annual packages of 2-3 lakhs. All branches students are getting placements except those who are weak in their studies because college also cannot do anything if you have no knowledge regarding the subject.

Placements: The placements are not good. A few companies are good, but some are fake. You should take the 1st-month salary, then take the joining letter. They don't care if the company is fake or not. The placement officer is not good. There is a communication gap between the cell and officer. They simply don't care about the students, they just want money.

Placements: The placements here are really disappointing. Very few organizations and companies choose to arrive at this place which is surrounded by valleys. Whoever company comes, pays a maximum package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. This is awful for worthy and talented ones who make their own identity by performing uniquely. Most of my seniors go for off-campus placements, and the ones who go with the campus placements are finally dumped out at some point in time.

Placements: Very good placement opportunity provided by the college, I got placed in Cogent E Service Pvt Ltd. All the students of my batch were placed in different companies some of them are getting placed in Edge Telecom Pvt Ltd as a network engineer. Some them in Tech Mahindra as a junior software engineer and Msd Telecom as a telecom engineer.

Placements: I got placed in a company where there is a lot to learn and the hike is also good in this company. If I compare my company with those of others, I would be thankful to my college that I got such a good place to work. I was rejected in TCS. From the first year, the teacher focuses on students' communication skills which are very helpful for a student to be confident and the best communicator during placements. It provides placements for 99% of the students who want a job on-campus, and rest 1% of them opt for their higher studies, and government jobs. The placement record of our senior batch was also 99%. Placements: GIET Gunupur has the best placement cell. In my batch, around 96% student got placed. Some of the companies which visited our college are TCS, Tech Mahindra, MindTree, Pompeii Technologies, Info Analytics, etc. and many more. Generally, the students were assigned the post according to their capabilities but on an average, I will say some of the posts were of GET, software trainee, etc. The maximum salary offered was around 3.3K and the lowest was 1.4K.

Placements: Worst place to study. Everything is just a business in this college. The only college which takes money for placement i.e. 10000+ on your first salary. So, do not fall by seeing 90% placement record. That's all just fake. They will never give you the correct data.

Placements: The college holds the highest number of placements among all the private colleges in Odisha. Every year, the college ensures 95% placement. Even students with backlog also get placement opportunities.
