If you want to study and only study, this is the best university for you. Not for enjoyment.

Placements: Training and placement cell try their best to bring companies for campus recruitment. But, most of the companies are BPOs, where a high school pass student can work. Engineers are not meant to work as a support. They are developers. And also, some companies don't even give joining letter to them. And on getting placement from this campus recruitment, the administration asks for the first salary from the job to be submitted to the university. I don't know what kind of tradition it is, but why sho...

Not that much good and bad as well. I think it worth the amount it takes.

Placements: Placement cell has good link with most of the reputed companies. Many of the seniors got placement in well known business enterprise. About 60% of students got placement every year. And also got a good salary as well. About 80% of its student got internship. There is a placement cell and it has also very good links with most of the reputed companies.

This is a good and well-disciplined college. The faculty are also very good.

Placements: The placements are good in college. Companies like TCS and Cavision are coming for recruitment. The highest salary offered is 3 lakh per annum. The lowest salary is 1 Lac per annum. It provides the internship facilities to the students in the final year itself. The roles like software engineer and graduate engineer trainee are offered to the students. There is a separate placement cell in the college which looks after the placements of the students.

5 years before, there were really good faculty in the college, but now, the college lost its colors.

Placements: The placements of the college were good, but when only looked from the view of IT industry, there were just very few placements of the core based industry. The college has the highest placement package of 3.2 Lacs, minimum of 1.2 Lacs, and the average of 1.8 Lacs. Mostly they were offered roles in sales and marketing or in BPO. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra and Jindal Saw, are only the big names rest were just either pool or off-campus. Less than 1% got the internship, and that was too witho...

Overall, the experience is good.

Placements: The placement is not very good. Every year, only 60-70% students get placement. Mostly, good campus drives are for IT and ECE sector, and few come for the core branches. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra, TCS, IBM and many more come to the campus placements. The package ranges from 2 lacs to 5 lacs per annum.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the administration.

Placements: The placements are not good. A few companies are good, but some are fake. You should take the 1st-month salary, then take the joining letter. They don't care if the company is fake or not. The placement officer is not good. There is a communication gap between the cell and officer. They simply don't care about the students, they just want money.

Need to be reformed as there is no other option left for me because I can't back off now.

Placements: The placements here are really disappointing. Very few organizations and companies choose to arrive at this place which is surrounded by valleys. Whoever company comes, pays a maximum package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. This is awful for worthy and talented ones who make their own identity by performing uniquely. Most of my seniors go for off-campus placements, and the ones who go with the campus placements are finally dumped out at some point in time.

Good infra, placements are ok, labs are poor, hidden charges, teachers are average, notes are avg.

Placements: Placements are good as compared to other colleges under our university (BPUT). But there is a catch. As a mechanical engineer, you will be for forced to sit in BPOs which is not good. If you get placed early in the college campus drives, you are lucky. You will be among the lucky 20 percent of students. Most of the companies are software here so as a mechanical engineering rooting for a core company, your chances are bleak. So make sure you vet placed early or you will be forced to sit in BPOs w...

Dissatisfied due to continuously dwindling standards in all terms.

Placements: Although the college shows 95% placement in all years, but the ground reality is that the quality of jobs offered and the packages are really low. Apart from TCS and Tech Mahindra, no other reputed companies visit the college. The placement training in this college is purely TCS oriented. The salary offered by these companies is the highest in the college (3-3.5 LPA). Hardly 150 students out of 1000 make it to these companies. Rest of the students are offered jobs in BPO and call centers with ar...

Never think of this college.

Placements: The college placed almost 80-85% students on an average but amongst them, 40% students got a fake placement. Companies visits the college, selects some of them but never gave the call letter. I was also placed but never got a call from the company.
