Our college has very positive environment.
Placements: Companies like Khaitan, CAM, and SAM recruit from our college. Students with great CV and personality development matter in placements. Some companies also conduct their interviews and exams. There is a pre-placement for students in 4rth year. Our college offers funds for startup businesses.
Infrastructure: Basic necessities are available, and the food served in the mess is fine. Sports events are held in a year and the name of the event is Justice League where other colleges are also invited and fair competition is held between the team. In the hostel, cleanness is maintained. The cleaning staff is friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they provide and give you guidelines about your future. They also advise you for research publication and career. They work as your mentor and give you every sort of guidance. You can even talk about your personal problems with them.
Other: Everything on the campus is fine.

    Curriculum was relevant and precise.
Placements: Almost 80-90% of the people who had applied for recruitment got placed through the college placement cell. The highest package is above 15L and average is around 8-9L. Top recruiting companies are law firms like SAM, CAM, Khaitan, Adani, Torrent, etc.
Infrastructure: We had an air-conditioned library and a good number of classrooms. There were separate hostels for boys and girls along with separate cricket and football playground. There was a mess along with a night mess and a store selling day to day essentials.
Faculty: A fair number of teachers were really good but some of them were not as effective as a teacher should be. Other few, but only small in number, were the ones who were neither good at teaching skills nor have requisite knowledge. Curriculum was relevant and precise.
Other: There are many kinds of events organised by our college throughout the year. These events included some of the most famous national moot court competitions, a sports fest called Justice League and an annual fest called Pentagram. The crowd was almost a melting pot of the brightest minds from every nook and corner of the country. The college is situated at a comfortable distance from the Ahmedabad airport and Ahmedabad Junction. It is close to 14 kms from the Airport and around 35 kms from the Junction. It is located in Korba village which falls within Gandhinagar district but is at a comfortable distance from Ahmedabad. A scholarship is offered to meritorious and promising lawyers who are going to take up practising in Courts in future, known as GLASS scholarship. It is offered to the students of the final year.

Campus life at its best !
Placements: The placements for batch of 2015 started in early 2014 with zero day. GNLU saw 22 offers from various law firms such as CAM, SAM, Luthra & Luthra, Khaitan & Co. There were PSU companies which came later in the year along with outsourcing companies such as Pangea3, OSC Legal. The highest package offered was 15 Lacs, whereas the average salary was around 8-9 Lacs. There were 8 pre placement offers. The placement committee worked extremely hard to get top companies and firms to GNLU. Legal Associates was the role which was offered to the students. The senior batch had comparatively less placement than our batch. From batch of 180 students, 100 opted for placements, out of which at least 80 were placed.
Infrastructure: GNLU has one of the best infrastructure in entire India. The college is equipped with one administration block comprising of teachers cabin, administrative wing, 3 floor library and law museum. Then the campus has one wing where all classes takes place and another wing with moot court rooms and auditorium. The centre of the campus is large cricket field and after that there is 2 floor Common mess. There are also girls and boy hostels with double occupancy and single occupancy. The mess food is good with eggs being served in the morning and chicken is served on Wednesday. The quality of infrastructure is better than what is found in other universities. The campus has 24*7 free Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The teachers were highly knowledgeable with having various publications and Ph.D. in their area of expertise. The classes were conducted from monday to friday from 8:30-3:30. The student teacher ratio was 15:1. The teachers referred to recent judgements and theory together in order to understand the depth of the subjects. Since it was an integrated course we were less exposed to the B.Com subjects and we started studying law since day 1 of our college.
Other: The college has various moot court competitions such has maritime moot, international moot court along with various seminars such as Seminar on Law&Economics, Seminar on Women empowerment, campus crowd is diverse with a lot of students coming from various backgrounds. The campus is secluded in village called Korba, hence the connectivity was a big issue with autos taking a lot of money for a short distance. The campus is located 45km from Ahmedabad and 15-18 km from Gandhinagar.

A review of Gujarat National Law University.
Placements: Almost 80% to 90% of the students got placed on day zero, which happens in the 4th year of the programme. Out of a batch of 180 students, around 20 to 30 students managed to secure PPO's from tier-1 law firms. Besides tier-1 law firms, around 60 more firms including government institutions approach the university for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a 55-acre lavish campus with a three storey air-conditioned library and classrooms. The college provides hostel facility, and the hostel can accommodate 400 boys and girls separately. Besides this, guest house service and faculty residency are also provided on campus. The mess provides unlimited food 4-times a day and all-inclusive in the fee.
Faculty: This college is in the top-5 law schools in India with 5 deans. The total academic staff members are around 100. The whole curriculum provides a wide range of 60-70 subjects. The college provides 5 different streams for 5-year law programme. LLM and MBA programmes are also being offered in PG prospects in the university.
Other: The college organises a sports fest named Justice League every year, and it also organises a cultural fest named Pentagram.

Preferable among the other NLUs owing to its unique academics, and has student friendly atmosphere.
Placements: The placements for the current batch is around 60% with 23 zero-day offers, and eight pre-placement offers from firms including Cyril Amarchand, Trilegal, Luthra, Shardul Amarchand, etc. Also, another tier 2 and tier 3 firms are still recruiting. At the end of the process, it shall reach up to 90%. In the past, also, the placements have been fabulous, and all the top law firms recruit here. The salary offered ranges between 60000-120000 / month. Mostly, the jobs offered include the posts of legal associates. Also, the internships that are offered from college is 100%, and everyone gets a chance if applies through the college, and the stipend ranges between 5000-7000/ month.
Infrastructure: The college has a world-class library which remains open until midnight. It has literature available for every field of law and also it assists students online as well. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and free 24hrs wifi is available. The classrooms are furnished and air-conditioned with projectors screen and audio-visual facilities. The halls of residence are separate for girls and boys, and you get a decent furniture, potable water, electricity throughout the day. The canteen provides some nutritious food with non-veg served once a week while eggs are available every day, and also breakfast is the best one can get anywhere. You get a good stay throughout your 5 years of college. Also, the college has a good music room, dance room, tennis courts badminton courts and basketball courts. You also have recreation rooms in hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are very well-experienced and learned in their fields as well as the other fields. You'll get visiting hours every day. The faculty are supportive in every possible way, and are very concerned compared to other colleges. The academics are student friendly and are not much rigorous. Also, the course outlines and evaluation pattern stays tentative and can be changed on request from students. The teaching methods are quite modern which include much of discussion and practical implications than just theory. There are guest lectures taking place now and then, and you get to meet some well-experienced people. There is a good no. of faculty members to cater to every student's needs. The subjects are taught with a view to focus more on practical implications.

Satisfied with the exposure and quality of education due to dedicated faculty and administration.
Placements: Both our batch and the seniors' batches were placed successfully as in there were 100% placements, except for the students who chose to opt out. The highest salary offered was 17 lakhs and the average was around 7 lakhs. All major law firms like AMSS, Trilegal, Khaitan & Co., JSA, DSK Legal, Advaiya Legal, government agencies like ONGC, Torrent, SBI, etc. and eminent legal practitioners visited the campus to offer internship and final placement to the students. Around 70% students got an internship from the college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 20,000 and the lowest was Rs. 5000. In the final placements, the students were offered roles of legal counsels and associates.
Infrastructure: GNLU has an excellent infrastructure designed to help the students to go through the rigours of legal education. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are ample so as to accommodate the students studying in 4 years. There is a doctor on campus every day between 9 am to 7 pm and there is a dedicated sports stadium for sports facilities. Further, the hostels are housed with carrom and TT tables for indoor sports. The labs, be it the legal incubation center or the computer lab, are equipped with the latest technology with dedicated IT personnel. Food is served 4 times a day with a reasonable variety. There is also a juice center and a snack center. The hostel rooms are spacious with attached bathrooms. In the first 3 years, the students live in shared rooms, and in the 4th and 5th year they are given an option to take up single rooms. There were generally no problems in terms of infrastructure and any problem that arose was solved within 3-4 hours.
Faculty: The college hosted faculty from all over India and from abroad. The faculty members had extensive experience in their specialized fields both in terms of teaching and in terms of practice. The student to faculty ratio was 40:1. The curriculum incorporates legal concepts as well regular case readings so as to give us a peek into the reality. The teaching was lecture based and case-based coupled with court visits. Eminent experts from the industry including practitioners, judges, etc. were invited from time to time via seminars and conferences so that the students have ample industry connect. The course was extremely helpful and enriching.
