This college is good for average students who want to gain mediocre knowledge.

Placements: It is an excellent college, and staff members are very supportive. Mostly all eligible students got placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are Virtual, Hexaware and TCS. The highest salary package offered here is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Our course has 120 students, and around 30 students did their internships in various companies.

For studies it is quite good, I'm not satisfied with hostel, nor would you be.

Placements: I didn't see any kind of placements for mining students. I have no idea about the salaries offered. No packages offered for my branch. No internships were provided. We had to do an internship on our own.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and faculty members.

Placements: Placements of the college are not that good. Not many students get placed from the college. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like Virtusa, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and TCS are visiting the campus but hiring only a few students. They are not offering good roles, and are just offering a normal employee role. Overall, the placements are not good.

A college with good learners.

Placements: Placements were good in the college for my batch. Around 30% of the students got placed. Mostly, the highest salary offered is up to Rs.80,000 per month depending on the company that is recruiting the student. Capgemini, Virtusha, Seventhscense, TCS and many more companies visited the college.

A college with a bad environment.

Placements: We can see a very few placements in the college. Every year, the percentage of students getting placed in the college is decreasing. The major companies that visited the college for placements are Capgemini, Accenture, TCS and a few companies that offered low salary packages. For our batch, placements were very low compared to our seniors. Mostly, the companies offered salary packages ranging between Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 60,000 per month to the placed students.

I am absolutely dissapointed with the college and the staff. Placements were okay.

Placements: There were many placements in the college. I got selected for three companies during placements. But, the thing is except for one or two companies, remaining were not soo good. I didn't join any of these three companies. The placements were not up to the mark.

Unworthy joining in the college because of faculty and placement.

Placements: Very few campus drives have come this year 2017/18 with lesser amount of packages. The highest was infosys with 3.5 Lacs per annum. And the least was with 1.0 Lacs per annum. Very few students were selected and the college management producing a fake news that nearly 400 students got selected, what actually happened is nearly 80 members got selected.

Dissatisfied because of placements, facilities and laboratories.

Placements: There are no or maybe very fewer placements for mining engineering. Three of my super seniors got placement in Ramco cement industry. Rs. 25,000 per month is the salary for the first-year at the time of training period and then after 50,000 per month. Very fewer companies are coming for placement in mining engineering. As the requirement of mining engineering is very less when compared to other branches of engineering.

Placements: In my batch almost 150 students selected for various IT companies. Coming to my senior batch nearly 100 members were selected from all streams. The highest package is 3.45 Lacs per year. The lowest package is 1.8 Lacs per year. The visited companies we're TCS, Tech Mahindra, Polaris and some other. Nearly 40% to 50 % students did internship with average stipend is 3000 rupees per month. We have placement cell. But I am sure it is no use. College needs to improve a lot if they maintain like this. It will get down day by day.

Placements: The college is good at placements. College is trying hard to bring placements in the college. Management is good and needs to improve the college atmosphere. Placements are good but need to improve. They are always bringing low profile companies. There is a need for A+ companies in the campus placements.

Reviewing GIET college of engineering, Rajahmundry.

Placements: The college has no good placement interviews. Every time they conduct but the selection process is the worst. The company expect too much from the students, but no one is that intelligent. The way of teaching, faculty share knowledge to the students, is too worse. How can the students place in any company?

Studies are average, but the infrastructure is good.

Placements: Sir, actually when I was studying in my fourth-year, placements were started, but with only the software company named TCS. This only recruited the ones who got the highest marks in their class and selected the CSE students. Also, my seniors' portion is same as we saw that the college is average and its infrastructure is good.

The surrounding name is good, but if the college improves, then it is good.

Placements: They kept the poster before three years, but it is not real, and now at present, the situation is horrible about the placements. The maintenance is not good for the boy's hostel, and it looks like bad. If many companies come to the college, then it is good. All the posters that they present are fake. Only small companies are visiting the campus. My suggestion is that they have to bring the famous companies for the placements.

My personal experiences in my college.

Placements: My senior students were offered good placements. They were asked to pay money and agreement for the 2-3 years. Some students were selected but didn't get the call letter. The students with a minimum of 65-70% or above percentage will be selected for the placements. The minimum package they offered was 1.5 lakhs per annum. The maximum package they offered was 4-5 lakhs per annum. The average package they offered was 2 lakhs per annum. The companies like TCS, Virtusa Polaris, Capgemini, C-core Tec...

Good placements in 2017, good infrastructure, good faculty and they help the students.

Placements: My college is good at placements with famous companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. The highest salary offered is 3,50,000 per annum. Students who have scored 65% are allowed for placements. It is mandatory to do an internship during summer holidays. But core students didn't get good opportunities in my college.

Plenty of resources are available but poor maintenance of the college.

Placements: My college is good at placements(TCS, Microsoft, etc.) for CSE students with good salary packages. But core students didn't get good opportunities in my college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 1,50,000, the lowest salary was Rs. 18000 and the average salary was Rs.30000. Students who have scored above 65% are allowed to sit for the interviews. It is mandatory to do an internship during the summer holidays.
