Amenities provided by the college are average. The fee is bit high when compared to the others.

Placements: The placements were decent, and around 20-30% students were placed from each branch. The average salary offered was around 2.5-3.5 LPA. Most probably, the placements were only to get into the software field, so forget about placements in a core company (EC, EE, mech, civil). TCS, Syntel, Unisys, Polaris, Virtusa.

Overall, you can enjoy your campus life or get placed in companies depending on your branch.

Placements: Placements wise, GIET is not up to the mark. Only software companies come for placements. Core companies for non-software branches will not come. In that, mostly two or three MNCs (TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra) visit and recruit a total of 30 to 50 people from all branches combined.

Dissatisfied because of lack of support from the management.

Placements: Our senior batch had a placement of 625 students in total. Our batch had 300+ placements. A few companies that came were TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. The packages started from Rs. 3.2 lpa by TCS as trainee cum software engineers. The management did not support for internship, so we had to do it on our own. Even the projects and national level participations were made by ourselves. The management never helped us in anything.

Main campus is better than the other two campuses. Now it is autonomous college .This College is not up to the mark in quality of teaching. Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college. Majority of the placements happen in pool campus in some other college, where preference is given to their college students. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Only Computer Science students get preferen...

This is my personal experience with this college, I did my bachelor's in 2013. College infrastructure (Wi-Fi & building) and sports (playground and gym) facilities are excellent but faculty is very poor, they don't have doctorate faculty in all departments and in some departments, even HOD's also don't have their PhDs. They don’t give salaries on time to academic and non-academic staff. Whoever wants to enjoy the engineering campus can join at their interest but not in the sense of placements an...

When I joined the college, it has a good brand name before, now it has lost its brand name because of its inexperienced faculty. But it has good infrastructure and the placements are average. I should recommend that it has to be well planned about the education and also about the faculty members that are present in the college.

My college is GIET, Rajahmundry. It was affiliated to JNTU, kakinada when I completed my B.Tech. Now it is Autonomous. According to me, GIET is not in the range to become an autonomous. It should contain some of laboratory equipment and some efficient faculty. Only few lecturers are efficient. Coming to the placements, only software students and electronic students are getting placed.

College is good one who want to work most of his or her time to spend on library or sports events. You have freedom for both learning and enjoyment. The disadvantage is there is no encouragment for creativity or hard work. The extra curricular activies conducted by college is some what good. Finally you have to try very hard for final placment.

Really good environment to pursue your career startup.

Placements: The highest package offered is 12 LPA by springworks as a full sack Java developed. Top recruiting companies are virtusa, capegmini, infosys and deolitte. Mostly Java develpers are recruited and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. 1/8th of the students got internships.

The college is good they are hardly trying that to bring the industries for us to get placed

Placements: In my college about 10000 students are studying. In that about 500 students are their in my course. In that 500 students about 50% students are getting placed in different companies. The highest package is about 12 lakhs and lowest package is below 6 lakhs.

This college is good overall.

Placements: The highest and lowest packages offered are Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 2.5 lakhs, respectively. This course has a maximum placement rate of 70%, with IBM and cognizant being the top recruiters. The internship rate at this college is quite poor.

I am satisfied up to some extent with teaching, infrastructure, labs, hostel and food facilities.

Placements: Approximately 60 to 70% of the students got placed. After that, we are assigned to some training in our college. Some companies are genuine, but others are fake. We can get settled in our college, but it depends on us.

I am very disappointed by choosing this branch at this college. Placements were not good.

Placements: This college did not offer placements. When I have joined our college, there was not any facility. From 2015-2019 batch, for mining engineering, only 2 companies visited the campus for placements. But those companies were not related to our branch. So, there are very poor placements for this branch in our college.

Really very disappointed with the hostel food and facility.

Placements: Very few people are placed in our course. With Packages, we are very much disappointed and it was very less. If there have been more core companies we would have done better. It is much better if they provide more classes in computer languages so that if placements are other than core we can able to try at least.

An average college with a lot of room for improvement.

Placements: Less than 50 percent of students got placed in companies. Only 2 to 3 companies visited the campus. Many students got jobs through offline and pool drives. The highest package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Internship mainly depends on the students' wish.

Good but sometimes it becomes bad

Placements: Placements are better for CSE group than any others. We are always waiting for placements but we recieve very few company calls. This is my opinion on behalf of me any this is reason I don't like my college in some ways. This is my review about placements.

Overall, it's a good college in studying but not in campus interviews.

Placements: Many students are passing out every without jobs as campus interviews are very less in our college. Companies which are providing jobs are not good, and salary packages offered are also very less, which are not suitable for B.Tech students. It is like a daily wage worker salary. Good companies are not coming here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of our college rules, I don't seen any placements.

Placements: No perfect placements, my college will not prefer that they will always focus only on your dress, hair, uniform. They are not a lecturers, they act more like a security.
