Inside Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya a central university .

Placements: Core branches received very few placements. Placement percentage is around 30%. Whereas non-core branches received above 65%. The highest placement was 55 LPA, the average was around 6 LPA, and the lowest is not known, but as per talks it was 3 LPA. Usually the IT sector companies are the top recruiters, but companies like Adani also come in as recruiters, but very few.

Glimpse of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.

Placements: There is no placement cell in our department, i.e., Anthrand tribal development. Placement: You have to do a Masters, then a Ph.D., then qualify for placement in college as an assistant professor or professor. In the second year, internships are compulsory for every student.

Average college, poor placement.

Placements: The placement opportunities provided on campus are extremely limited and unsatisfactory. It is essential to put in significant effort and explore off-campus placements for better prospects. If you are considering on-campus placements, it is advisable not to pursue them as only a few companies, primarily in the field of computer science and information technology, visit for recruitment. Unfortunately, students from other branches will not have any job opportunities through the campus placement pr...

It is a good college for students.

Placements: Almost 20% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs 35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. Top recruiting company was Cipla. Internships were not offered in our college. Top roles were also not offered in this course.

In 2015, not many students got placed, but in 2018, more companies came and started hiring students.

Placements: In my college, around 40% of students get placement. Here, the highest package goes up to INR 35 lacs per annum, the lowest package goes to INR 2.8 lacs, and the average package is around INR 5-6 lacs. Companies coming to hire students are Amazon Express, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.

It is a good college with good value for money.

Placements: There are no campus placements in our course. The campus placements are available in other departments like engineering, etc. There are some rare cases of placements. Students who do master's get placements. Students can apply for off-campus placements.

My thoughts on the university.

Placements: During the campus placements, many of our seniors participated in the interviews. Many of them didn't get through the campus placement. Only few got jobs in the campus placement. So I can say that acceptance rate is low. The highest package offered so far is 23 Lacs per annum.

Satisfied by hostel administration. Poor lab facility. Poor transportation inside campus.

Placements: Nil for electronics and communication. No on campus placements. But off campus placements have a lot of scope. If you have a start up idea then you get good support. College promotes entrepreneurs. The placement cell is collaborated with IIT Bombay for start up funding.

Great college | Good Campus Life | Good placements | Good infrastructure .

Placements: Placements at our college have improved a lot in the past few years. In last year batch there was 100% placement of CSE branch with an average package of 4 LPA. Being a tier 3 college this is a great achievement for this college. Its going to improve a lot for 2023 batch as Placements have started from now itself. Two students have already been placed at American Express with a great package of 18 LPA. Four students have been placed at Infosys with Package of 9.5 and 6.25 LPA. 5 students have be...

TCS, Wipro, American Express, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Almost 40% of students get internships, and the best roles are offered in this course.

The university is in its developing phase.

Placements: Placements in our university are not much good as the university is still in its developing stage. The university has a placement cell, and it is still trying to provide placements to B.Tech students. For B.A., they try to contact NGOs for internships for students.

Everything is fine and it only depends upon the course students choose.

Placements: Placements are zero in this college. The students get into this course just to get a graduate a tag. But apart from everything it's a central university so, students find this better than any state university. I have not heard any placements yet from any of our seniors.

I am happy with the campus as it has more than 650 acres.

Placements: The placements cell has been working now for the betterment of the students' careers. But by this time, there are not many opportunities in this department of the college. The students in this department are majorly directed towards government areas or PSUs.

I suggest opting for this college only if you are planning for GATE and other competitive exams.

Placements: Our college placements are very poor. It is a central university of Chhattisgarh, but no companies are invited by the placement cell. There is no cooperation from the faculty members to get placed. Mechanical students can focus on the GATE exam as we get ample time for preparation.

Campus placements are very poor, and future opportunities are very limited.

Placements: Campus placements for mechanical students are very poor, and none of the companies visit for campus placements. There is no support from any faculty members related to campus placements. The only future for mechanical engineering students in this college is the GATE exam.

This college is worth the money if students are dedicated.

Placements: The placement record of our college is very poor, and there are no placements for B.Tech students. The only way to get placements is through off-campus placements or walk-in drives conducted by various companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc. However, there is an option of GATE exam to opt for higher studies. Through GATE exam, many of our seniors got admission in reputed colleges.

Industrial and production engineering of GGU has good faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are nil in this institute. None of the companies visits the campus for placements. In the IPE and Mechanical field, students have to give off-campus recruitment exams and interviews with which they get the job as compared to other branches. Students get the internship easily in organisations such as NTPC, SAIL, SECL, CTTC, Bhubaneswar, etc., which enhance the skills of students in learning the industrial experience and training.

I wish for better equipments in labs to improve the learning process for the students.

Placements: Poor placement in GGU, no students get placement in the college until they go for off campus and other competitive or recruitment exams. Students get internship easily in NTPC, Tata Steels Ltd.

GGU is a better place to build your future.

Placements: We get very less opportunities regarding placements. Our college management should do some work to provide better facilities for placements. Very less chances are provided in our college to know about fieldwork. So because of a lack of chances, students are not able to deliver their best.
