It has a well-maintained infrastructure.
Placements: There are good opportunities for campus placements with vibrant job opportunities. The role offered is a physiotherapist in many renowned hospitals.
Infrastructure: There are labs with the proper equipment and maintenance. The mess food is of superior quality. Medical facilities are free for university residents and students. There are separate grounds for each sports activity for students.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with work experience. The course teaches students how to approach the industry through practical application. Semester exams are set from a moderate to hard level with 50% marks as the passing mark.
Other: I was interested in the medical field. The best thing is practical work. There are many activities like cycling, swimming, badminton, hockey, cricket, football, etc. Every Wednesday there is a mehfil held by the students where they show their talent.

Enlightenment of knowledge with huge exposure opportunities.
Placements: The placements were good in the college for other courses but as our course was not a professional one. That's why there were no placements but the students were brilliant and they got admissions in Master courses in reputed colleges all over India like JNU New Delhi, MNNIT Allahabad and PU Chandigarh. The students got voluntary internship in Pratham.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was well equipped. There was a big library that consists of 20000 books. Sports and gaming infrastructure was also very awesome. The labs and classrooms had good ambience. The food was too delicious which was remembered by the students till date.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. They were very helpful. They were well qualified and they publishes their articles in reputed journals. They were good mentors and always try to show us the right path and helps in decision making. The course curriculum was also helpful as it contains the same course content as UPSC.
Other: Students were motivated to go for survey in rural areas of Punjab to get the grass root level knowledge. They got recommendations from the faculty members to apply for any seminar program, internship in India or abroad.

The infrastructure is excellent; however, when it comes to academics, improvement is needed.
Placements: There's no such good opportunities provided by the department when it comes to placement. You have to start on your own. There was an online proforma filled by us that the department provided, but it was of no use. On the other hand, internship programs and workshops were good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are excellent, especially the library, which really provides a positive environment. The canteens hold a lot of memories that I had with my friends. Additionally, GNDU is known for its outstanding sports activities, which add to the overall experience.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and knowledgeable, but at times, the teaching methods used by some of them could have been more effective. The theoretical part is more focused than the practical one, and practical methods should be included, which is much needed when it comes to physiotherapy.
Other: I chose physiotherapy because it is a field where I can help people recover and improve their lives. Moreover, it's a hands-on profession that combines science with care, and I like that idea. However, more practical elements should be included in GNDU's physiotherapy depth.

Good course specially designed keeping in view the dynamic nature and demand of the job market.
Placements: This is a non-professional course so job placements from the department are not supported. This course prepares the basic for different competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, PPSC etc. During the course, one gets an opportunity of working with different NGOs (like Pratham, Students for Liberty) and government departments (like UGC, etc) in different sectors like internships, survey opportunities (elections, education, border area surveys, etc).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is normal, but whatever is available is sufficient for the smooth running of the humanities course. The canteens are privately owned, so the food is fine and there is no interlink with the department. Hostels are available, but the rooms are not that good. They are small rooms occupied by many number of students.
Faculty: The faculty team is nice, qualified and well-experienced, but there are obviously certain teachers which need to be fired at the earliest because if they continue, they will not let the students survive. The teaching methods were good as different objects like maps, projectors are made use of to explain the topics. The best part of the course is 'term paper presentations'as they boost the level of confidence, public speaking skills, etc in the students which is very much required in the dynamic job market.

Other: It is probably the best place to lay the foundation for Civil Services. One can get a broad idea about everything related with it at this place. The Teachers here are well trained in their respective subjects and are really cooperative. Though attendance is compulsory to some extend but attending some classes is worth it. Through this course you can participate in lots of conferences and seminars taking place in the Department and in the university regarding recent topics. My best co-curricular activity was taking part in "Quality of Primary School Education in Rural Areas" by ASER foundation in all the three years of my graduation. This survey really made my outlook broader when it comes to discussing rural problems.
