Life of a student in GNDU.
Placements: Being a new admission here, I really don't know much about placement. But in my department, the board of placement given to the previous year was that the highest placement was 11 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3.5 to 4 Lacs per annum just for 1 department, I don't know much about other departments.
Infrastructure: Our University infrastructure is good, not much advanced, not much bad. We haven't been taken to any computer lab or any that place, otherwise, it's good. And the hostel is good too but the rooms are so small. Like, for a 2-person room, there is only one almirah and no place to keep things, clothes, and all.
Faculty: Our faculty teachers are good, not bad, but there in our department, there are 2-3 teachers that I don't like much because of their behavior towards people. Like one teacher doesn't allow students to enter into a class but is late, like just 2-3 minutes and one teacher just used to shout all the time.
Other: There are a lot of extra activities going on in here to participate in. Like it's a university in Punjab, every other day something is going on in here, like a youth fest in every other department.

Satisfied with the faculty, events, and crowd. Not happy with infrastructure and placement.
Placements: No one got placement in my batch after completing B.Com., as they don't arrange placements for the students doing integrated M.Com. As no one from my batch got recruited, I am unaware of the highest, lowest, and average package offered. There is no internship in my course either.
Infrastructure: In my department, USFS, infrastructure facilities are really bad. A lot of times, there is no water in the washrooms, and sometimes, there is not even drinking water on some floors. On the 1st floor, in women's washrooms, 1 toilet doesn't even have a clock, and 1 doesn't get locked properly. In my classroom, two of the fans were not working. We complained many times, and they were fixed almost after 2–3 months of the commencement of the classes. There is no Wi-Fi on the campus. Classrooms are not cleaned every day. Mostly, they are left dirty. Not all classes have projectors. Only some have. I don't live in a hostel, so I don't have any personal experience, but my friends who stay there do tell me that the hostel facilities are also not very good, and the food is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers in my department are quite good. They are really qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. For my queries, I have messaged them personally a lot of times, and they have always been answered in a very nice manner. In fact, I got the best teacher of my life at the university itself. Yes, this course curriculum is quite relevant. We are also being taught some software, which is definitely going to help us in our careers. So yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are fine. They are not very difficult or easy. If you study, you can score really well. I am not sure about the pass percentage.
Other: I want to become a teacher of commerce, for which I want to do a B.Com. and then a M.Com. Here I was getting an integrated M.Com. course, so I chose this. I did not have to go through the whole admissions process again at the time of my M.Com., so that's a good thing about this course. At the time of M.Com. (only for integrated courses), research scholars are provided as teachers, which I think is not good. Students in integrated courses should also get proper teachers. The USFS department organizes one of the best events. Last year, they organized their first fest called AGAAZ, which was even better than the so-called best fest of the UBS department. At the time of farewell, there is a whole farewell week with paths, scribble days, group photography, and many more. The Diwali party is just fantastic, with DJs and all. Teachers Day is also very well celebrated. Jashan and the youth fest are also fun. Our department organizes a lot of extracurricular competitions as well.

Average placements, average infrastructure, the best faculty
Placements: The university students get the full opportunity to be a part of placements. 50% students got placements. The highest package was Rs. 6 LPA. Only 50-75% students got an internship chance on the campus, rest had to arrange it themselves. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12000, the average was Rs. 6000-7000, and the maximum was Rs. 18000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is satisfactory but the ambience is not that good. Greenery is at its the best in Guru Nanak Dev University. Rules and regulations are not strictly followed. MBA department is better than rest of the departments. Good quality Wi-Fi is not available. Youth festival is one of the most awaited festivals.
Faculty: The teachers are really cooperative and carry a good knowledge of the subjects they teach. They use the best teaching methods so that the students can have full clarity. Ppts are provided properly on time by every teacher. We got industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful to a certain extent.
Other: Guru Nanak Dev University is the best overall. It was a great experience to be part of it. A student can't expect a very bright future but a wholesome great experience. The only problem is placements. A student needs to be well versed in order to get good placements.

    It is an excellent university.
Placements: From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Some of the companies that offer placements here are TCS, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Byju's and Bandhan Bank. The percentage of students who get placements is high, and about 85% of students get placements every year. I got selected by the placement agencies. The university has a good placement record.
Infrastructure: The university has a beautiful campus, social clubs and techfest. Mainly, I got my favourite stream. But the bad thing is there is bad lab infrastructure. The admission process includes you need to apply for counselling before 10 June. Counselling will be conducted after 10-15 days, and the course will start by 15 July. I used Quora to get my doubts cleared. So, I applied to this university.
Faculty: The faculty members of our department are not good as they are not punctual to classes. They don't attend classes regularly, and the ratio of girls and boys is 21:18. Most of the teachers are doctorates, but their teaching methods are poor. The course curriculum is not good, outdated and old. Faculty members are also average.
Other: I chose this course because my school teachers suggested to me that you can get a job in this course. Moreover, my parents are satisfied with my teachers' opinion, so I chose this course. The campus crowd is very good. Students get scholarships for their studies, and they also get fee concessions and post-matric scholarships.
