I had spent the best life in GNDU.
Placements: Axis Bank and one more company have visited the campus for placements. Now, many other companies are visiting GNDU for placements. There are many placement opportunities for students. Many students got selected in the interview and are doing their job in the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The outlook of Guru Nanak Dev University is awesome. We can enjoy nature because the campus has a lot of trees. Classrooms are furnished with desks, projectors, light tubes and fans. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach us in a very good way and provide us with notes whenever required. They use the lecture method and also projectors for teaching. Sometimes, projects and presentations are given to us for exploration.

One of the best campuses in which you not only study but grow in different aspects.
Placements: Placements in our university are better than any other college in the city. Many companies visit the campus, like Aon Hewitt, Concentrix, Wipro and TCS providing great chances for students to kickstart their career. The average package offered was around 2.6 to 3.5 LPA. Around 70% of the students got placed from my batch. But from my experience, I can say that your interview skills and academics play a vital role in getting placed with a high package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is the best which you never see in an ordinary university. It has a huge library, gymnasium, cricket, hockey and football ground along with cycle court. To protect students, 24/7 police services are available. The campus has girls' and boys' hostels, basketball and volleyball courts. Indoor game facilities like badminton court, table tennis, etc., are available.
Faculty: One of the best faculty members are available in the university. Most of the teachers are PhD holders, and all the faculty who teach PG students are M.Com are UGC qualified. Almost all the teachers are helpful. Dr Sanjeev Sharma is one the most helpful teachers I have I ever met. He helped poor students and intelligent students a lot in their studies. The teaching methods used by the faculty make it easy for students to understand.
Other: The university organises a lot of cultural programmes in which all the colleges in the city participate. Activities such as folk dance, folk singing, mine acts and painting hold the prime position. Along with this, the university participates in cricket events, inter-university bodybuilding, football, hockey, badminton and in other sports events.

Satisfied with the overall performance by the university.
Placements: The placements are good. Few students got selected by some famous companies. Many students got selected by big companies in a good position. The companies came every year for selection, and they select some students at every placement opportunities. Placements in the previous year are very high.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The park, library, and sports grounds are available. The canteen is also very big. The food over there is delicious. The quality of classrooms and labs are quite satisfying. The hostel rooms are not up to mark but still okay.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. Their methods of teaching are also very simple and unique. They are the best. Various types of courses are available there. The course curriculum is useful to the students. The techniques of studying are also good. There are good faculty members.

Satisfied because of opportunities in co-curricular activities, good infrastructure.
Placements: Companies did come at the end of the year 2015 for placement of our batch, but most of the companies were BPOs or startups. The startup companies offered high salary packages of up to Rs. 6 lakhs, whereas BPOs like IBM offered a salary package of about Rs. 2.2 lakhs. The startup companies offered marketing roles to the students. On an average, 90% of the students from my class gave an interview, wherein around 20% of them got the jobs. Whereas only half of the selected students actually joined the jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the classrooms is quite outdated. Whereas infrastructure in the computer labs, library and auditorium is pretty good. Facilities for sports and other co-curricular activities are also very good as the university has large areas where there are playgrounds for cricket, basketball courts, volleyball and badminton courts. The university also has an indoor basketball court and an international swimming pool. The campus also provides students with a variety of eating points.
Faculty: My experience with faculty was good as most of them were cooperative and friendly. The faculty also joined us on our trip to Manali and guided us to important lessons of travelling and having fun as well. The faculty was undoubtedly very knowledgeable and experienced. The student to faculty ratio was 40:1, which is pretty healthy. We never got industry exposure or real life situation experience. The course curriculum was outdated and needed a lot of improvement and flexibility. Even the choice for optional subjects was limited.
Other: My university period was great and unforgettable as I learned a great deal over there. I learned how to be social, and it developed leadership qualities in me. Also, managerial skills improved within me as I got a very good experience managing fests and festivals. I didn't gain much from the actual studies, though I was an intelligent student because most of the matter of course curriculum was a repetition of what I had studied in the graduation course or it was not relevant to the modern generation of the economy. Moreover, in exams, marks were gained more from writing long essays that did not need much knowledge but just a presentation of a small information again and again in multiple ways.
