A journey that could have been much better.

Placements: There are hardly any placements drives that are being conducted by the college. Wipro is one such company that comes every year to recruit 4-5 students, providing them a package of 1.8 lacks pa. Most of the local recruitment agencies come to college and ask the students to register themselves with them for a nominal fee of Rs. 500 and then they look for jobs that are suitable for the candidate's profile. Those recruitment agencies also fail to provide any decent package jobs and they mainly rang...

Good campus but can be improved.

Placements: The placements here are not so good and very unexpected. The highest package offered was 22000/- per month. Even the companies expect to seek the maximum work with the lowest salaries. They need to be improved so that students get more competitive and aim for better scopes.

Good university with great infrastructure but need to improve placements.

Placements: The placements in the previous year were better than this year. Companies like Trident offered 21 lakhs per annum package. The placements were good this year but less and with lower packages as compared to the last year. This year companies like Axis Bank, Valeur-HR E-Solutions Pvt. Ltd and Kochar Infotech came in.

Infrastructure and other facilities were not up to the mark but the faculty was good.

Placements: The placements were just about okay. Around 60 percent students were placed. The highest package was Rs 4.5 lakhs and the lowest was Rs 1.50 lakhs. Companies from different field i.e banking, insurance sector, manufacturing companies etc. visited the campus. 70 percent got internship from the college. The average stipend offered to students was Rs. 5000.

Good course specially designed keeping in view the dynamic nature and demand of the job market.

Placements: This is a non-professional course so job placements from the department are not supported. This course prepares the basic for different competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, PPSC etc. During the course, one gets an opportunity of working with different NGOs (like Pratham, Students for Liberty) and government departments (like UGC, etc) in different sectors like internships, survey opportunities (elections, education, border area surveys, etc).

Good but should not consider on top priority.

Placements: Placements are good according to the number of students placed out of the eligible students. Only the service sector IT companies visit the campus. The highest on-campus package was about 6 LPA, the lowest was 2.6 LPA whereas the average was around 3.5 LPA.

A need to take strict action against dishonest staff and listen to the complaints of the students.

Placements: The college provides average placements. There is a partiality against the students from regional campuses during placements. The average package offered is very low. The highest placement was of Rs. 7 LPA. Sometimes the companies which come and select you don't actually offer you the job. The placement team is supportive but it needs to be more aware about the companies that come for placements. Sometimes, a few bad companies come and spoil your career, as you don't check as such, thinking that...

Poor campus, poor clerical work, poor infrastructure, poor location, everything about this campus is negative. No curriculum activities, only pressure on attendance. Though the faculty members are good and provide support it’s not worth taking admission in this college. The college lacks basic amenities and placements.

I joined this college with high expectations as it was NBA- NAAC accredited. But, I did not get any benefit of passing out of these accreditation's. Faculty was good up to some level but, some teachers were given subjects which they had no idea of. Students who passed out from our institute joined our college as teachers with least knowledge. In short, I won’t recommend anyone to join this college.

The only best college to do MBA in Amritsar, as there is no option one has to opt for this college. Infrastructure is pathetic if someone does not get seat through general category, he or she can get it by paying an additional amount. So there is an unjust system in the college. Placements are also not good. The average salary package which goes is about 2-4 lacs per annum. We find more of the regional crowd there.

Nothing is better than self-motivation and concentration, so it would be better to focus over improvement of skills rather than just depending on college. For degree and starting career in Engineering it’s not a bad option. Staff is supportive but still you will need to focus more on yourself. Placements, Campus facilities and teaching Faculty all are average.

The campus is quite good. I feel if my AIEEE rank would be better then I will not take admission here but eventually, things turned out to be good. Packages offered here isn’t satisfactory. Fests and cultural events are awesome. I think we need a student union in University as there is no direct interaction between students and authorities. Overall, it is a nice college in terms of studies and college life.

Salary Packages offered during Campus Placements aren’t satisfactory. Fests and Cultural events are a must watch here. Apart from it, speaking of placements, a very few number of companies visit the campus, that too for a particular number of fields, not for all.
