    The college is progressing.
Placements: Placements are just average. They put no efforts in bringing good companies for recruitment. But just for the sake of showing off, they have just made us fill forms for placement drives, and only 6-8 students were placed during placement drives. During the placement drive conducted previous year, a pretty good number of students lined up for internships in TCS and other reputable firms. We even have the hall of fame poster holding up in the reception area.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty decent as the classrooms are spacious and tidy with proper light and ventilation. We have an updated library. Laboratories are not that good, and they lack maintainance. No Wi-Fi facility is provided here, and the college doesn't even provide any sports facilities. Food in the canteen is the worst. We have 800 hostel rooms, and the hostels are being renovated and expanded.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very much experienced and helpful while some are relatively new and don't cooperate much. Our HOD is very supportive. They use conventional teaching methods without any technical aids. The student to faculty ratio is 140:1. The course curriculum is somewhat useful.
Other: Connectivity is poor as it is located in a village. Fests are not much happening. The campus crowd is decent but are mostly for the students of the main campus. No extracurricular activities are conducted.

The placements are not very high for civil engineering.
Placements: Only some companies visit the college for placements of our civil branch. As this is a new branch of GNDU, we are facing some difficulties regarding placements. Companies of other branches visit the college, but we are not invited to attend those placements. Core companies for civil are not invited to the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The college is not very big, but it is average. My college is situated in Patiala, which it is a village and due to this, the campus area is not that big. Here, we have only six courses, so there is no need for such big infrastructure. Overall, the facilities are lacking in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are very good. They treat and help us in a very good manner. The faculty members of other departments are not up to the mark. They treat the students of their department and other departments very angrily. They must improve themselves, and they should treat the students nicely.
Other: The campus crowd is very less.

Our college is below par. Don't join in this college unless you are desperate.
Placements: We have a bad placement record. Last year, only 2 seniors got selected in TCS. You need to look for off-campus placements. The salary offered by TCS is average. There are no internships. Students often pay to get internships. Overall, the placements in our college are not good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine, but there is only a little provision for other activities. We have a little involvement in sports and co-curricular activities. The classes are big and spacious. The labs are fine, but the other facilities are poorly managed. The gym is poorly maintained, and no attention is paid to sports.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are below par. Teachers don't know the course and often teach gibberish. The course curriculum is same as that of other colleges. Teachers don't read the answers but check the length of the matter written by the students and give the marks accordingly. Most of the teachers are of school level only.
Other: There are no fests in our college. We have a rural crowd in our college.

    Dissatisfaction because of faculty.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch were pretty bad. Only quite a few were selected out of the given campuses. The salary offered was around 3.20L P. A. Though some companies conducted the placement drive, only tcs was crackable. A senior who went for off campus placement did receive a greater amount of salary than the ones going for campus placements. I would like to point it out that individual effort does matter a lot while placements, and would not blame the college for the bad placements.
Infrastructure: The college labs are fine, and air conditioned. Classrooms are spacious and well maintained. Basketball, football, table tennis and volleyball are usually played by students in their free time. Cctv cameras are installed in the campus. Limited food is available in the canteen, though the food in the college mess is fine.
Faculty: Mixed reviews surround the faculty quality. Though some teachers are good, many are terrible at teaching. Some are even worse than that. The student to faculty ratio can be best described as. There is one teacher teaching a class of 50-60 students. Industry exposure is provided in the final year of the degree.

    Worst engineering college.
Placements: The placements in our college are not at all good. If you want to get yourself placed, then don't join this college. There's no hope of placements for the B.Tech students. There are no extracurricular activities. The teachers in our college are bad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poorly designed. The bathrooms are not in good condition. The labs are not well designed. There is no air-conditioning facility in the college. The canteen is small, and the menu is too short. The ground condition is bad. There are no sports and extracurricular activities. The classes are in bad condition. We don't have parking facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not supportive. They lack teaching skills. They don't worry about the marks obtained by the students rather than on skills. They haven't taught anything properly during the tenure.
Other: There are no extracurricular activities in our college. Tech Fest will be organised, which is not appreciable.

According to fees and placements, it is worth.
Placements: Many companies come to the main campus which is in Amritsar, and we need to go to the main campus to attend the placements. Capgemini, TCS, Infogain, SoftwareAG, Tech Mahindra etc. visited our college for placements, and more than 500 students got placed in different companies. The minimum the package is around 3.15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but it's only up to some extent as there is a college adjoining with it. So the college and university are attached to each other. The computer labs are good, and the restroom is also good. It is quite big spacious. As the college is situated in the village, it is compared to the heaven.
Faculty: There is very experienced faculty as well as inexperienced. You will find both kinds of professors. In 2016, they recruited new professors from the main campus that is Amritsar, so the teachers are shifted here which are highly experienced. The course syllabus is constant, and it is not getting changed. All the batches are getting the same course curriculum.
Other: It is far from the city. I would suggest you opt for college bus that will be good for you as bus service is very less in that particular area.
