Placements: The placement in AEC is good. The average salary is 6 LPA. This time the highest salary is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. IT, PSUs, and some core companies visit the AEC to hire the students. There is a training and placement cell in our college to handle the placement scenario.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Very less students are placed. The packages are also not so much good. But students with a dual degree (B.Tech + MBA) got placed with very good packages. We have to connect with companies to invite them to our college for campus interviews.

Placements: In the academic year 2013-2013, the placements were near to 100%, but gradually with the paradigm shift of technology to more computer-oriented stuff, this field began to lose its grasp in the placements. Due to the introduction of GATE for PSU companies, the placements saw a large reduction. By 2016-17 it has reduced to almost nil. So, regarding placement, in civil domain, one should avoid this college though it's a government college.

Placements: We have got no placements yet, and there is no policy for giving placement. You can only take the degree there. Sometimes some companies do visit the campus. But I did not see any company visiting in my department, in the past two years. We have to search for a job or go for higher education on our own. Getting a job and getting a seat for the higher education is not their concern. It all depends on us to find these things.

Placements: Students who were able to secure more than 60% will be able to qualify for the seat in the campus interview. Various companies all over India came to the institute to give a job those who were qualified. The student from CSE got the job in Wipro, TCS and Infosys last two years. The highest salary offered last two years for students of the CSE branch was 3 lacs per annum.

Placements: The placement is decent enough. We cannot expect more than the average package for UG degree students, for MBA it is good. One of the best colleges in Guwahati. The companies like HDFC, Godrej, Airtel, Vodafone visit for placement every year. The placements of last year were good. More than 50% of the students sat for an interview, and almost 90% were recruited( bachelor of commerce).

Placements: Many companies came to the college for placements. Companies like Godrej, Amazon, and Different banks came for recruitment. So if we work hard, we may get a placement. But one thing that I came across was the biased attitude regarding placement. When Godrej came for recruitment, only selective students were called up for the interview. All the students who were willing didn't get any notification regarding it.

Placements: Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar has its own training and placement cell, with two training and placement cells officially working every time for the betterment of the students. The placement cell always works for the betterment of the students. It conducts seminars weekly for the students regarding new institutions or companies.

Placements: There are many companies such as Wipro, Zaloni; HP is coming every year. It has its placement cell. Many of our seniors got a job through college placements. We didn't get any internship yet. Many of our seniors got a salary of 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Placements: The top 2-3 students of the core branches get placed in PSU during the campus placements. They get a package of 12-13 LPA. Most of the other companies that visit our college are from the IT sector. Average pay package of these IT companies is 4 lakhs per annum. Almost all the students who fulfil the criteria of 65% are allowed to sit in the campus placements and are usually placed. Placements: The placements for my batch was mediocre although people from my batch fetched the highest salary till that point of time. All the students were provided internships within their domain whereas around half the batch was placed on campus or off-campus. The companies included PSUs, construction companies, IT companies, manufacturing, etc. The present scenario has seen an upward trend in the number of students placed with an addition in roles such as business development and consulting. ...

Placements: Placements are good. For the MBA students, it probably provides the best placements in Guwahati. I wouldn't trust any other college in the city for better placements. There's a placement officer who helps out the students of the college in the process of interaction between the students and the corporate houses, There are on-campus and off-campus interviews arranged regularly.

Placements: The placement was pretty good and almost all the students got placed. PSUs like BPCL and OIL came. Also, many IT companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc recruited the students. There were also special classes provided for placements organised by the training and placement cell.

Placements: My college does not offer placements for the BCom course as the students still require some skills and training to sit in the final placements. Apart from that, the placement cell of our college is very good. Our seniors got placed in good and reputed companies.

Placements: Placement of this college is average as compared to other collages here. The college gives enough opportunity to all the students to get placed and students do get placed in reputed companies. The locations of companies where students get placed are also good.

Placements: Assam Engineering College is the oldest engineering college of the northeast region. As such, it has a good base of alumni which have frequently helped the college during the tough placement seasons. To be honest, the college no longer enjoys the reputation it has before a decade which led to 2-3 years of average placements for the final year students. Placements: Placements are not so good. It is same like most engineering colleges where most of the recruiters are IT sector companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. There are few good companies that come for placement like OIL India, Ashok Leyland, etc. About 30-50% students get placed each year (there might be some variations though). The average package varies from about 3.5 lakhs to 6 lakhs.

Placements: Overall, the placement of this college was good. More than 70% got placed in different fields. Companies came for placements includes insurance company, TCI, Nestle, Amul, ICICI bank, Axis bank, Vodafone, etc. They follow up internships with various companies and recheck with the students and based on their interests, they follow up too. Average salary from the company to fresher’s was around 12k-15k and for experienced, it was negotiable.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were pretty good. Almost 40% of the students were placed. The highest salary was around 50-60k and the lowest starts from 17k. There are lots of companies that visited our campus like Bharti Airtel Limited, IBM India Pvt. Ltd, PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited, Sony India Pvt. Ltd, Vodafone Essar Spacetel Limited, Reliance and many more. About 50% students got internships from the college.

Placements: Placements are not good at all. Only marketing and sales jobs are there and at that too very few companies visit the campus. Only 50 to 60 percent placements. Lowest salary is about 1 lakh rupees per annum and the highest is 3 lakh rupees per annum.
