Placements: The students got a chance to work in the foreign countries like Malaysia, Dubai, and the Maldives with good exposure. It helps to improve their lifestyle. Many of the hotels visited our college for campus placements. 60% of our students got placed in the different countries in chain hotels.

Placements: I'm a student, currently studying in GIMT, Guwahati. Regarding the placement, our college carries pool campus interviews, where many renowned companies come and select students. My college is successful in bringing companies and providing good opportunities to their students. Many big companies like Tech Mahindra has employees of our college.

Placements: I was placed in a company called XL Dynamics India Pvt. Ltd. The companies like Cummins India, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Shree Ram Finance, etc., visited GIMT. Many IT companies also visited GIMT during my batch. The placement during my batch is higher than the previous years.

Placements: The placement is very good. I got placed in XL Dynamics. The placements in IT and CSE branch were more compared to other branches. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Cummins India, Wipro, XL Dynamics, Shree Raam Finance are visiting the college. Some pool campusing is also held. The placement in my batch was more than the previous batches.

Placements: According to the course and competitively to other colleges, most of the students got placements. Around 40% of the students were selected in the campus placements. The highest salary was 35k per month, the average salary was 20k per month, and the lowest was 15k per month. Companies like HDFC Bank, Godrej, Varun beverage, etc., visited the campus. Placements: Every year they offer the placements for 5 to 10 students. Though it is a state government university, we cant expect 100% placement. But with the completion of the course, almost every student get a job in the different field. The salary offered is not good in comparison to a good bank job. The student has more potential to grab a job in other sectors like a bank, post office, etc.

Placements: The placements are very minimal as most of the recruiters prefer IITs, but still, our college students have managed to get some. Every year, almost 10 students get placements. That's just a minimal figure considering the rest of the institutions. But most of the graduate students prefer to study even after their graduation, that is the key factor for low placements.

Placements: We were called for placements in 2-3 companies. One of our students got placed too. As we were the second batch from M.Com so placements were not too much. But the scope of placements opens up as the project work is involved. The MBA placements are better than the M.Com placements. Placements: The placements for our batch are not that good, mainly for the computer science branch. Even for the seniors, there were fewer placement opportunities. A very less percentage of the students were placed. The salary which they offer is not up to the mark. No companies visited the campus this year. But, there were several pool campus placements. Placements: In Assam Engineering College, there are too many job opportunities because AEC is a top-ranked engineering college in Assam. In AEC all the department have a good job opportunity. Many companies come for campus interview regularly. And hence, if you got a chance to study in AEC, you are lucky.

Placements: All our seniors got jobs except those who opted for higher studies. The percentage of placement of our branch is 100% including internships. The package offered isn't that high, Rs. 18,000 per month is offered. Various roles were offered in almost all food-related industries in Assam. About 40-45% of the students got internships.

Placements: Since the college started offering B.Tech only before 7-8 years, the placement rate is not very high. As far I know, the highest package in this college is from the IT Department which is 9 lakhs per annum. Among the other departments, the highest package till date from the college is 25 lakhs per annum in the CSE branch. This college holds the record of highest selections in GATE.

Placements: The placements are pretty much good in NERIM. Many reputed companies come visit on the campus. Most of the students got placed either on-campus or off-campus. Many got the job posts according to the wish and the post they wanted. The companies include Godrej and Federal came to the campus.

Placements: Above 60% of cutoff were accepted by the college. We got Placement in insurance company with an annual income of 2 lakh to 2. 5 lakh. The role was to introduce various schemes to the public and attract them toward the insurance. Around 20 students including me got the internship in this insurance company. We expected more companies to come.

Placements: The placements were excellent. About 95% of the students got placed and the highest package offered was Rs. 17 lakhs per annum, the lowest salary package was Rs. 4 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package was Rs. 6.5 LPA. Placements: The placement records are very good. The incharge of training and placement cell is very cooperative. Different companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Zaloni, Infotech, etc. have visited our campus and recruited. Our seniors got placement during their project duration. The companies that visited were Pepsi, Jio, Axis, Asian Paints, etc. Most of the students were placed in a managerial or assistant manager post. The students who were placed are still serving those respective companies.

Placements: The placements are good. In our batch, almost 75% students got placed in reputed organisations. In our senior batch also, the percentage of placement is very decent. Overall, very good placement is provided by NERIM. Some of the companies are Airtel, Oyo Rooms, Dabur, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Life Insurance, etc.

Placements: Placements are good and a number of reputed companies like TCS, Capgemini, Genpact, etc. come for recruitment. The placement process starts from the beginning or at max from the mid of sixth semester. The average package is 4-5 lpa. The overall placement stays between 70-80% of the total batch. I passed out in 2015 and one of the highest paying recruiters was IOCL, which offered a sumptuous salary of 11 lpa. TCS as always was the largest recruiter.

Placements: Being the oldest and a premier technical education institute of North-East India, AEC is a favourite name among the recruiters. Every year minimum 4 leading IT companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, IBM, L&T Infotech, Cognizant visit the campus and recruit a large number of students. IT companies alone recruit 30-40 % students every year.
