Placements: The placements are decent in our college. For main branches like mechanical, EC, CSE, and chemical engineering including food technology, the campus placements are available and a lot of students have benefitted. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 7 LPA and big companies like Amazon and Intel also recruit the students.

Placements: For M.Tech there are no separate placements. Although they will allow M.Tech students in some companies mainly in the IT sector, there are negligible placements regarding M.Tech students. In my M.Tech course duration, only one company allowed M.Tech students and for teaching, no college prefers HBTI students.

It is one of the oldest and prestigious engineering institutions of India. Although it is not same as its old glorious days but it still has name and respect everywhere due to its students. Now it has become a University and will start conducting as the same since session 2016-17. For infrastructure, the college building is really old, although strong but still not attractive like modern day colleges.
