I am satisfied because of the good environment, infrastructure and facilities provided here.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed from this college. The highest salary package offered was 4.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.7 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was Bajaj Corp. Our university doesn't provide internships, and mostly, top roles offered are only associate engineer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility provided in our university is worst, and I have not used it during my tenure. However, the labs were fine and clean, and the classrooms were also good and clean. I didn't visit the library, so I don't know about it. The quality of the food served in the hostel was fine. The canteen was good, and everything which you want is available in it.
Faculty: Teachers here were helpful, qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality of some teachers was good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. But it depends on students also whether they want to ready or not. Nowadays, every private college is in the same way.
Other: Our batch was good, and every student was friendly. So, we enjoyed a lot. I wanted to become an engineer, so I have chosen this course. In my childhood, my dream is to pursue engineering, but now I thought I would have chosen another profession so that I could have done better.

It is a new university, but it will try its level best for the good of students.
Placements: About 73% of the students from our course got placed. Still, placements are not offered by any company, so there are no chances of offering top roles. The highest, lowest and average salary packages are not offered in our course. None of the students gets an internship from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities, but the infrastructure is improving now. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and our college has few labs. There are no books in the library. Classrooms are good, but the minimum number of classrooms are available. Our college has no hostels, but there is a canteen. Our college doesn't have a mess and medical facilities. There are also no proper fields for games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are very good, well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good, but some of them are rude. I suggest that they need to be terminated from the college, but they are well qualified. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in it, and it helps in development. There is no need to change anything in our course. Events, fests and extracurricular activities organised here are good. The campus crowd and its connectivity are also good. Scholarships are also good.

Admission FAQs

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at Himalayan University with 75 percentile in JEE?

A:

B.Tech at Himalayan University with a 75 percentile in JEE Main is difficult because the cutoff scores can vary depending on several factors:

Branch-specific cutoffs: Different B.Tech branches at Himalayan University may have different cutoff scores based on their popularity and seat availability.

Overall applicant pool: The number of applicants and their JEE Main scores in a particular year can influence the cutoff scores.

Reservation categories: Seats are reserved for certain categories like SC, ST, OBC, and PwD, which can affect the general cutoff for unreserved seats.

However, a 75 percentile in JEE Main is generally considered a good score, and it increases your chances of getting admission into several B.Tech programs at Himalayan University, especially for less competitive branches.

A:

Amity University Mumbai is a highly ranked, well-established university with a wide range of specializations and strong industry connections. It offers B.Tech programs in various specializations, providing flexibility in career choices. However, it generally has higher fees and a competitive environment. Himalayan University offers lower fees, a location advantage in Arunachal Pradesh, and national and international collaborations. However, it is a newer university with a shorter track record and may offer fewer specializations.

Additional factors to consider include academic performance, desired specialization, budget, and campus life preferences. Both universities may have different admission criteria, so it's essential to research these factors and visit their websites or contact them directly for more information before making a decision. The best choice depends on individual priorities and research.

They can also contact the Himalayan University placement cell or admissions office for the most recent and specific data on MBA placements. Additionally, searching for independent reviews on platforms besides Shiksha can provide insights into the MBA placement scenario. A:

60% score in Class 12th alone is not enough to guarantee admission to Himalayan University for B.Tech programs. While some universities do consider Class 12th marks as part of the eligibility criteria for B.Tech, Himalayan University primarily accepts JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions.

Therefore, your chances of getting into B.Tech at Himalayan University will largely depend on your JEE Main score. A score of 60% in Class 12th might be considered an average score and might not be competitive enough for securing admission through JEE Main, especially for popular B.Tech branches.
