Q:   How can international students apply at Himalayan University?

A:

Himalayan University is a private Indian university as of my most recent update in September 2021. It's possible that the application process for international students has changed since then. For the most up-to-date information, I recommend going to Himalayan University's official website or contacting their admissions office directly. Notwithstanding, I can give you a few overall principles that are usually trailed by colleges in India for worldwide understudy applications:

1.  Investigate the College: Check to see if Himalayan University offers the courses or programs you are interested in starting with. For information about the courses, eligibility requirements, and any special requirements for international students, visit their website.

2. Conditions for Admission: If English is not your first language, be aware of the admission requirements for international students, which include academic credentials and language proficiency tests (such as the TOEFL or IELTS).

3. Application Form: Acquire the application structure from the college's true site or solicitation it from the confirmations office. Online application forms may be available from some universities, while hard copies must be sent to others.

4. Documents: Accumulate every one of the essential reports, which might incorporate scholastic records, declarations, a duplicate of your visa, identification estimated photos, suggestion letters, mission statement (SOP), and some other archives indicated by the college.

5.  Financial Evidence: Many Indian universities require international students to demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to pay their living and tuition costs.

6. Submission of an Application: Fill out the application and attach all of the necessary documents. Focus on any application expenses that should be paid and adhere to the accommodation directions given by the college.

7. Deadline for applications: Make sure you send in your application by the deadline. A few colleges might have various application cutoff times for various courses or projects.

8.Choice Process: Subsequent to presenting your application, the college will survey it alongside different candidates. Depending on the program, interviews or additional tests may be part of the selection process.

9.  Letter of Acceptance and Offer: Assuming you are acknowledged, you will get a deal letter from the college. Audit the letter cautiously and adhere to the guidelines for tolerating the deal.

10.  Visa for Students: Apply for a student visa at the Indian embassy or consulate in your country after you accept the offer. For the visa application, you will need the offer letter and other required documents.

11. Arrival and Travel: When you have your understudy visa, make venture out courses of action to India. Illuminate the college about your itinerary items and appearance subtleties, so they can help you with the fundamental courses of action.

I am satisfied because of the good environment, infrastructure and facilities provided here.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed from this college. The highest salary package offered was 4.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.7 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was Bajaj Corp. Our university doesn't provide internships, and mostly, top roles offered are only associate engineer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility provided in our university is worst, and I have not used it during my tenure. However, the labs were fine and clean, and the classrooms were also good and clean. I didn't visit the library, so I don't know about it. The quality of the food served in the hostel was fine. The canteen was good, and everything which you want is available in it.
Faculty: Teachers here were helpful, qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality of some teachers was good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. But it depends on students also whether they want to ready or not. Nowadays, every private college is in the same way.
Other: Our batch was good, and every student was friendly. So, we enjoyed a lot. I wanted to become an engineer, so I have chosen this course. In my childhood, my dream is to pursue engineering, but now I thought I would have chosen another profession so that I could have done better.

It is a new university, but it will try its level best for the good of students.
Placements: About 73% of the students from our course got placed. Still, placements are not offered by any company, so there are no chances of offering top roles. The highest, lowest and average salary packages are not offered in our course. None of the students gets an internship from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities, but the infrastructure is improving now. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and our college has few labs. There are no books in the library. Classrooms are good, but the minimum number of classrooms are available. Our college has no hostels, but there is a canteen. Our college doesn't have a mess and medical facilities. There are also no proper fields for games and sports.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in it, and it helps in development. There is no need to change anything in our course. Events, fests and extracurricular activities organised here are good. The campus crowd and its connectivity are also good. Scholarships are also good.
