The worst South Indian college to take admission in.

Placements: Around 20% of students got placed with an average salary package of 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The placement team is very bad. They don't bring any good core companies. They don't provide any placement training. It is the worst. Companies offer internships and provide contact-based roles. There is nothing permanent. Core students are offered IT sector jobs.

Overall, the college is okay, but the infrastructure is bad. No one takes care of the students.

Placements: The placements are not good and the packages are also poor. No good companies visit for hiring, they need to tie up with more companies. The highest package offered is very low and the lowest package is obviously very low. Overall, the placements are not good.

I would rate this college experience as 6 out of 10.

Placements: Placements are not so good in this college. Top companies come but offer you average salary packages, which you will not be satisfied with at all. When I was a student, I got very good chances, but as I said, the salary packages may not reach your expectations because you pay more than 8 lakhs here for fee.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placement opportunities in 2020.

Placements: Placement opportunities in our department were not good. Not even a single company came for placements. Only IT startups came here. They offered salaries of Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. It was mandatory for everyone to do an internship. We were able to find internships through various sources.

Maybe Hindustan is not suitable for mechanical and aerospace.

Placements: There is no placement in the college. I did not get any placement or interview from the college. You can get a job via outside the college after the completion of your course. The college is good for CSQE but not for mechanical and other branches. I do not know the highest and lowest packages.

I am satisfied with the university because of its good faculty members and lab facilities.

Placements: Graduates of Automobile Engineering can seek employment opportunities in automobile firms like TVS Electronics, Auto-Infotronics, Delphi TVS, Bosach, ARAI, NATRiP, Volkswagen, and other core industries. The Automobile Engineering Programme caters to train the students to design, develop, manufacture, and repair automobiles. The demand for automobile engineering is growing with the expansion of automobile industries and the increasing demand for vehicles. With increasing concern for pollution and...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2021.

Placements: 10% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 3.6 LPA. Mostly IT companies come to our college. 15% of students got internships from my course in Ashok Leyland company. It's better to join the computer science course.

I am satisfied with the practicals that we learned as mechanical students.

Placements: In our college, particularly for mechanical, there were no placements. Even companies in which we got in on-campus placements are all sales-related companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placements for 2020 batch.

Placements: Around 10% of the students got placed, but they didn't receive call letters till now. The average package offered is 3 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Zohi, Verzeo, Ethnus etc. Around 10% of the students got internships in the marketing field, and not in the electronics field, and the company is Verzeo.

I am not satisfied with our college because of not having placements.

Placements: For aeronautical engineering, placements have completely decreased in core companies from the last two years. It is due to the decrease in the quality of college education after the death of the founder. Our institution only focuses on money, but it used to be a good college for this course.

It is a good college, but the teaching is not much good.

Placements: Only around 20% to 30% of the students got placed from our course, which is not very much high compared to the last year. The lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA to 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are Hexaware, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and a few more.

Review of Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Chennai.

Placements: I passed out from this college with an aggregate of 69% in academics, but I didn't attend placements. However, I heard that placements were good here, and companies which visited our campus for recruitment were higher-end companies. Most of our batchmates were able to attend placements, but only some of them got placed in companies, while others planned to opt for higher studies.

In our course, the highest salary package offered is 11 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.6 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiter of HITS. Almost 20% of the students got an internship in Infosys. We got internships mainly from off-campus.

Disastrous college for those interested in placements.

Placements: The number of students placed is quiet less as less number of companies are coming for the recruitment, of course, some are placed at low salaries. The highest package-400000, avg package-250000, the lowest package-150000. For now in our department 30 students are placed in Infosys and 2 students in TCS, 1 for Hexaware. In the total of 150 students only 50 got placed. There is no practical research for students to gain knowledge.

If I have to rate my college I would rate the college 3 or 4 out of 5.

Placements: 40-45% of students get placement. Zoho, Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Analyst, developers are the roles offered. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest 3.3 and average 3.5 LPA. Not many students in our college go for internships, even if they go for internships, they don't go with big companies.

Placements: Infosys is a major recruiter for HITS, and about 80% of the students got placed this year. Around 60% to 70% of the students got placed in 2018-2019. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.6 LPA.
