I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) Scholarships and Funding
On completion of admission process, based on qualifying examination (10+2 for UG and UG for
PG programs ), the following is applicable:
i) Top 10% students admitted under same batch for all disciplines/streams will be offered scholarship of 50% of Tuition Fee and
ii)Next 10% students admitted under same batch for all disciplines/streams will be offered scholarship of 25o/o of Tuition Fee.

Placements: About 80% of students got placed in my course. The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Companies such as Mahindra, Wipro, and Pisoft visit often. Roles like software engineer, front-end developer, and back-end developer are the most popular, and many jobs are available in our college.
Placements: Not much placement opportunity in the college. No top MNC is reaching college for placements these days. The role offered is SDE1, or intern. The package is between 3 and 7 LPA. Internships are not offered by colleges; students have to find them themselves.
Placements: About 80% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package is around 20 LPA and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Companies such as Mahindra, Wipro, etc. visit often. Roles like software engineer, frontend developed, and backed developed are most popular.
Placements: I don't know in exact percentage of students who get placed in my course, but as far as I know, most students get placed and secure internships. Top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and many others recruit students. The highest salary package in my course is around 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package is maybe 6 LPA-7 LPA.
Placements: The college is overall good, but the placement is not that great. However, in our branch, which is Civil Engineering, our seniors have achieved 100% placements. In CS Engineering, the placement is not as good, and the college is far from the city.
