Raw review of IIMT University.
Placements: Out of 60 students in the 2021 batch, I hope that 50% of my seniors would get placed, as this was the first AIML batch of the university. I don't know right now, as the first batch would get placed in 2025. Google, Amazon, Facebook, Wipro, IBM, Oracle, and Flipkart are the top recruiting companies. I didn't have many contacts from the seniors, so I don't know about it as well. Machine learning engineer, data scientist, AI engineer, and big data engineer are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the university is well and good, please don't have high expectations. There are no AC classrooms, but ACs are available in computer labs. Wi-Fi is available in every building for faculty and students, but you can only access it using your personal I'd and it has a limit speed of 1MB/sec and data of 5GB. The library is also well and good. The hostel is average, and the food quality is below average. It takes time to solve a problem registered by the student. The canteens’ food quality is good. Sports and the rest of the facilities are good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They teach properly and have good insight into their subject. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. No, as students have to make their own effort to be ready for the industry, and the curriculum only helps to boost the student. The difficulty of the exams depends on the students, as it depends on how well they have prepared for the semester exams. For me, the difficulty is moderate. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as this was the best course the university could provide to me. The best thing about this course is that it is in demand and has high scope to grow into the most needed skills for companies. If the university could provide more practical knowledge, they should start teaching more fundamentals in the first year. If I had to say about events and fests, that would be the worst.

Absolutely dissatisfied because this college is not capable to make your skills .
Placements: In my course, some students are clear on the placements. IIMT UNIVERSITY offered 3-4 LPA, and this is the highest package. There are some awesome companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc. My college offers internships, but those companies are not so good.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are so well in my college their are some awesome labs, classrooms, and the big library. And also the quality of the hostel are so good but the food is average in mess. Their are good medical facilities and sports.
Faculty: In my IIMT university, their are good teachers, and those are well qualified and knowledgeable, but they teach well when the students want; otherwise, they give up. The semester exams are not so tough in this college, and mostly students get enough marks to get qualified.
Other: I personally chose this course because I want to build my career in the corporate world and make myself a successful person. But this college is not good enough to make my skills sharp.

Think twice before taking admission.
Placements: I am studying bachelor of CBZ at IIMT University Meerut. I am in my last year and I will pass out in 2025. I was admitted to the college via Cuet UG. In my course, the strength of students is pretty low, with just 28 students, most of whom have no interest in the field of science, biology or chemicals and most of whom are preparing for government . exams or something. The placements at the university are pretty low in comparison to other private universities. Good renowned companies are found in fewer numbers, especially for courses like biology or life science in particular. The AVG . package achieved by students is 3-4 lakh per annum, which is also for the students of B.Tech. or BBA, MBA . Rarely 1% of students will package for 6-7 lakh per annum. As I am in a three-year course, I can't go for an internship due to no relaxation in attendance, plus they are very strict about attendance.
Infrastructure: The college itself has a pretty small campus that contains classrooms, a seminar hall, 1 ground, recently made a cricket stadium, a basketball court, a swimming pool, 2 girls hostels, 2 boys hostel and also runs a small boarding school beside the campus. Facilities are very average, with the condition being very bad; in some classes, switch boards are broken and fans do not work. No classroom in my block contains ACs, even though our block runs classes for courses like B.Tech. too but even they do not have ACs in their classrooms and classrooms are pretty small even though they are paying the highest amount of fees. Facilities of lab, my course itself is based on practical work; it's science, but the labs don't have even the basic facilities like thread, spatulas, and acetone, for example. I even recently did an experiment in which glucose was required; the glucose was 10 years old. Plus, you're not allowed to use labs.
Faculty: Faculties—some are really good, some are just worse. Some faculties are really good, enthusiastic about their subject and will guide you and help you but the number of faculty like these is very low. Other faculty are their to talk and mock and some are not even interested in teaching. Some faculty will make you sit in a lab for 2 hours and will perform or teach any experiment even if you complain nothing changes. Some faculty are just interested in telling you to wear brown socks and be in uniform—Legit, I am constantly scolded for keeping my hair open.
Other: Events are few with just competitions and most students are even allowed to attend these events, especially if you're not living in a hostel. You will not be allowed in the annul event . Once a concert happened just for first-year students; no other year was allowed and we didn't get our own concert either. Except for freshers and farewell, rarely does any event occur. Campus is filled with bad students who are just their to cause chaos and fight; constant fights occur on campus. One of my friends got stitches because he didn't show the answer he wrote to the student behind. No actions are taken. College is too conservative, with teachers having very conservative thinking and judgy. My northern eastern friend gets constantly bullied for their looks. No freedom—you cannot even sit in the garden or ground and have lunch.

IIMT University is a decent college to take admission in.
Placements: The percent of students placed varies but the average placement percentage is 85% and the top recruiting companies are ICICI, Fortis, Tech Mahindra, etc. Top roles are managing director and other roles. The highest package offered was 33 Lacs and the average package offered is 4-5 Lacs per annum. Internships completely depend upon students and vary from courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college are decent enough to meet our requirements. There are Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms, and a large enough library that contains all the books and computerized labs to study efficiently. The facilities of the hostel are good and the quality of food is good. Medical facilities are also good and there is a large playground for different sports, including shooting and boxing.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified and even many of them are Ph.D. holders and they have excellent teaching skills. The teaching quality is quite decent. The course is relevant enough and they do their best to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate but the environment is very strict, including UFM, which takes strict action against students who do not comply with the integrity of the exam.
Other: I chose this course because it would provide me with good opportunities. The best thing about courses is they provide us with industry experts.

Placements: All students are accepted in the college regardless of percentage, and there is no percentage criterion for admission. The average placement package is 2 lakh per annum. Top recruiting company is Amazon, with top roles such as finance manager.
Infrastructure: The nature and behavior of the faculty toward students is good, and the university infrastructure is also good. There are three canteens on campus, and each department has its own library, along with a central library.
Faculty: All the teachers in the college who teach us have done PhDs and provide a lot of knowledge to the students. The level of the semester exams is moderate, and all students can easily clear the exams because the faculty teaches well.
Other: I chose this course because it offers high chances of securing a good job. There are many events and fests held by the university.

Not satisfied with my college. I want this university to improve their management, it's much needed.
Placements: Honestly, we have rare placements in our course like it can be understood that it's a traditional course but still, there are some companies that do hire students of BSC. CBZ but it's just not available and if it does, information never reaches students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite average but it's just for show, like there is literally a need for equipment in labs and more facilities should be given. Giving below average ratings for hostels. The hostel facilities are poor, especially food. I lived there for 2 years.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified; they are PhD holders but the quantity of teachers is very low; they need to hire more teachers. I am already in my 3rd year and we had no industrial visit yet. Semester exams are quite easy and easy to pass as well. Passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose bsc. Biology assignment I had immense interest in biology and I wanted to continue my studies with this. There can be many improvements, such as lab equipments, syllabus design, quantity of teachers and many more. There is only one fest (Alumini Meet) and one tech fest in whole year. No events, clubs, nothing happens to keep interest of students. And if talking about campus crowd, it's quite disappointing as the students, faculties and faculty are not supportive at all; it feels like everyone is there for money only.

  • Competitive Advantage: This score would be considered advantageous for specific specializations with less competition at IIMT University.

However, consider these additional factors:

  • Specialization Choice: Different specializations within the MBA programme might have varying cut-off scores based on their popularity and applicant pool. Your score might be more than enough for some specializations but not for others.
  • Other Selection Criteria: The selection process typically includes factors like Written Ability Test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI), and work experience (for some specializations). A strong performance in these aspects can significantly boost your chances, even if your CUET PG score isn't the highest.
  • Competition and Year-to-Year Fluctuations: Cut-off scores can change for each admission cycle depending on the applicant pool and programme availability. An 88% might be sufficient some years for certain specializations but not necessarily always.

Therefore, it's difficult to definitively say whether an 88% in CUET PG guarantees your admission to IIMT University's MBA program. However, here are some recommendations:

  • Research program-specific details: Check the cut-off trends and admission criteria for your desired specialisation on the IIMT University website or programme brochure.
  • Contact the admissions office: They can provide the most up-to-date information about specific cut-off scores and programme availability for the upcoming intake.
  • Focus on holistic profile: Prepare well for WAT and PI and ensure your application presents a strong academic background, relevant work experience (if applicable), and clear career goals.

B.Sc. at IIMT University: Is it a Good Choice?

After analyzing the reviews from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

* Placement Scenario: Around 7% of students got placed this year, with top roles offered including data scientist, data analyst, and data manager. While the placement record is relatively poor, there have been instances where students got placed in reputed companies like Wipro, IBM, and Infosys.
* Faculty Members: Teachers are generally considered helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Some students appreciated the support and guidance received from faculty members.
* Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure, with modern classrooms, libraries, and laboratories. Hostels are available, although students mentioned issues with cleanliness and maintenance.
* Campus Life: Student life at IIMT is described as enjoyable, with events, quizzes, and competitions organized regularly. The campus has recreational facilities like cricket grounds, swimming pools, and gyms.
* Curriculum Relevance: The course curriculum is deemed relevant, covering essential topics in microbiology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
* Industry Visits: Unfortunately, industry visits are limited, which might hinder students' exposure to professional settings.
* Scholarships: Scholarships are available for deserving students.
* Salary Packages: Salary packages offered range from INR1 LPA to INR6 LPA, depending on the company and role.

Based on these points, while IIMT University's B.Sc. programme has its strengths (good infrastructure, supporting faculty, and relevant curriculum), the overall placement scenario and lack of industry visits might be concerns for potential students. It's essential to weigh these factors carefully before making an informed decision.

Remember, individual experiences may vary, and this assessment is based on aggregated feedback from students and alumni.
