Good placement are provided for graduates of IMU Chennai and IMU Navi Mumbai. But generally speaking, IMU Chennai's placement record is regarded as marginally superior to IMU Navi Mumbai's. This is caused by various factors, such as: Compared to IMU Navi Mumbai, IMU Chennai is more established and has a better reputation. Recruiters can more easily access IMU Chennai's graduates due to its more central location. Greater Opportunities: Marine engineers can find employment on a range of ships, including offshore vessels, cargo ships, cruise ships, and tankers. Ocean engineers and naval architects sometimes have fewer career options and are more specialised in their expertise.  The B.Tech Marine Engineering placement rate at IMUC has been approximately 95% on average in recent years, whereas the B.Tech Naval and Ocean Engineering placement rate has been approximately 90% on average. Furthermore, the starting salary for marine engineers at IMUC is normally approximately ?6 LPA, but the starting salary for naval architects and ocean engineers is typically around ?5.5 LPA.
