Infrastructure is good, but the management and administration are the worst.
Placements: Placements in the college are not good. There was a time when Chanakya campus students got 100% placement, but nowadays things are changed because of insanely increasing private training institutes in India. The director of T.S.Chanakya J. K Dhar is a big reason for the bad placement condition of T.S.Chanakya.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome. There lots of greenery all over the campus, and a newly constructed administrators building. There are 2 hostel buildings, good garden, big playground, and a boat jetty on the campus. There are an international swimming pool and on-campus canteen also.
Faculty: In my knowledge, right now, Chanakya is operating only one main course which is BSc-nautical science. Till 2013, there was a course called D.N.S (diploma in nautical science), this course is discontinued in Chanakya. DNS last batch was 2012-2013 and the faculty there, are all useless faculty members except one that is Captain S.Dey.
Other: Chanakya has their annual fest called "Expressions" which is organised every year in September/October. Every year, 120-150 students take admissions in B.Sc. nautical science. So, on an average 400-450 students stay in the college. The surroundings of the college are good, and it's a beautiful campus. Chanakya every year, provides a PGM (president gold medal) to the best cadet during his passing year. Chanakya does not provide any scholarships, but, you can apply for the scholarship from your state government. If you are eligible for scholarship as per the state government rules, then you'll get the scholarship.

A perfect place to guide your professional view for your profession.
Placements: I was from batch imu 11 and there were total 45 cadets, some cadets were sponsored and few were placed after the second semester depending on cadets result of previous semesters. And the highest package was of 650 dollars which is around INR42000 depending on the exchange rate. And the lowest stipend was around 250 dollars. And the companies visited to our campus were, Mediterranean shipping company, anglo eastern, univan, wilhelmsen shipping company.
Infrastructure: There are around 25 to 30 facilities out of which there were some chief engineer and some of them were captain. Campus infrastructure is quite good and have 2 mess rooms, one for officers and other for cadets. one swimming pool, playground, gymnasium, and the hostels are also good with all facilities.
Faculty: Experience with the faculty was good all of them are experienced and have a quite good gesture with their cadets and other trainees. Projectors placed in each classroom and some times they give us demonstration of several things just to give us a good experience and knowledge, and we were also taken to dock visit just to get us more experience.

I am satisfied with all facilities.
Placements: Around 30 out of 47 students got placed in our college. Our college helped us to get off-campus placements from private companies. If you are sponsored by any private company, then you have a good choice to join this college.
Infrastructure: The whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The Wi-Fi connectivity was very good in the hostel, college, and mess. The hostel rooms were well-furnished and clean. Every classroom had a projector and a smart board system. The campus had a library. It was a peaceful place to study alone or in a group.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They were retired from captain posts. They were well-qualified and highly experienced. They had knowledge of ships and sailing. The course made students industry-ready. All courses were good. Semester exams were not much difficult. You can pass all exams by self-studying or studying for 2-3 hours a day. The pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I opted for this course because it is a 1-year course. After 1 year, you can go on a sail and can earn money early. There is no need to improve our course. I like this course procedure. It is a good course for all students. The campus surroundings are very good. Our college crowd is more. The connectivity is very good. You can find transport easily.

This campus is only meant for the candidates who have an intention about achieving something.
Placements: Placement for diploma course were good at my academic year. M.Sc. FLEET companies regularly take students from the institute if you cleare the exams without backlogs. If you are talented enough, then you will have a chance. Atleast 3 to 5 companies visit every year for the candidates.
Infrastructure: A very decent and neat campus. Free Wi-Fi is available at the hostel blocks. Classrooms will be very neat and tidy. Coming to hostel rooms, 3 students will be allowed for one room and also provided with the study chairs and all useful basic needs. Food is quite good. No need to worry about food in hostel. Canteen, gym, swimming pool is also there in the campus. Every day a doctor visits the campus for the health advises. Students can also participate in the sports and games.
Faculty: Friendly interacting faculty helps in gaining knowledge. Every lecturer is a qualified and has a experience of nearly 6 to 10 years. A library is also available inside the campus. Labs, workshops and other activities are also available. Various types of books are also provided for students to gain extra knowledge.
Other: There is no scholarship available for this course. So many events and ceremonies will take place in the campus. About 87 acres of campus with the playgrounds and gardens.
