Our college has good faculty members and course, but placements are average.

Placements: For electronics and communication engineering branch, very less core companies visit the campus. IT companies visit here for IT and CSE streams, in which the ECE students are often allowed to attend placements. The highest package for our stream was around 13 LPA, which is offered by Qualcomm.

Totally satisfied because of opportunities.

Placements: The placements of our college are really good. Almost everyone got placed in good companies. The highest package was around 40 lacs while the lowest was around 3-4 lacs. Companies like Microsoft, Expedia, Adobe visited our campus. Students were offered the roles of software engineers, software developers, testers, etc. Around 80% of third years got internship from college. And there is a placement cell room It conducts various workshops for students to increase their chances of getting placed.

It is a good option for girls in Delhi to pursue B.Tech.

Placements: Placements in our college were pretty decent. Almost 95% of the batch was placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA for all core technical roles. Being the only girls' college in Delhi NCR, offering mechanical and automation degree is an added advantage for placement cell to attract a huge bunch of good recruiters like GM, GE, Mahindra, Maruti, Fluor, Siemens etc.

IGDTUW is a good college for the overall development of students.

Placements: Placements in our college are awesome. Remembering the fact that the college was established a few years ago, students of IT and CSE branches get placed in the best companies like Amazon and Microsoft with a package of 35 LPA and more. The average package offered to CSE and IT students is 12 LPA-15 LPA. Placements for the rest of the courses are good with the highest package being 15 LPA for mechanical students. Every year, almost 100% of students get placed.

Excellent placements, and less exposure but ample opportunities.

Placements: Placements in the college were very good for both the batches. The placement cell is extremely active in this regard. All the major IT firms like Cisco, TCS, Aricent, Infosys, Oracle, Qualcomm, Microsoft, etc., come to recruit students from the college and offer extremely good CTCs. The maximum CTC offered is 13 LPA to 14 LPA whereas the average is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Also, some companies like Cisco and Microsoft offer summer internships and also offer PPOs after that.

The major companies that visit the campus are Microsoft, Uber, Cisco, Walmart, etc. Apart from these, mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Aricent, etc. visit the campus for placements.

Decent college which provides a good platform.

Placements: Decent placements in general but less Electronics and communications associated job opportunities. A lot of good companies with good packages come but mainly for CSE and IT profiles. Internship opportunities are extremely low, only about 15-25 people got internship via college.

A review about department of architecture, IGDTUW.

Placements: As you might know, there is no such thing as placement in Architecture. You just get introduced to various firms/architects and then you need to apply for the job yourself. This is the same rule followed in every architecture college. Our faculty introduces us to various architects from the first year itself which helps us decide our internships for the fourth year.

Overall good placements and great college culture.

Placements: For a batch of 300 students, around 50-55 companies in technical field visited the campus. There is a great placement scope for CSE and IT. Around 90% of CSE 2018 passing out batch is placed. There is a great scope for ECE and MAE too as they are eligible for their core companies as well as IT companies too. However, non-tech companies are not preferred for recruitment process in IGDTUW. Companies such as Intuit, Amazon, Microsoft, Linkedin, Cisco, Oracle, Adobe, etc. Hire for the roles of devel...

IGDTU rises like a phoenix!

Placements: Ever since IGDTUW has become a University in 2013, its placement stats have been ameliorating annually. Companies and organizations have given positive reviews and feedback for our senior batch selects. Top notch names like Microsoft, Amazon, Intuit, Expedia, Oracle, SAP, Cisco and Adobe visit our campus and offer great roles of SDE, QA, analyst etc., and the packages, reaching Rs. 25+ LPA. All thanks to the training and placement cell for organizing and managing everything efficiently.

Placements: Placements are decent. Many companies like Cisco, Microsoft, Expedia, Intuit, GE, etc. visit the campus. The profiles offered are also pretty diverse. There are a lot of opportunities that are up for a grab. The internship opportunities are also pretty nice for the pre-final year students.

A good college with decent placements

Placements: Placements at IGDTUW are pretty decent. Almost all well-known companies visit the campus for hiring B.tech, M. Tech, and MCA students. The average salary as per my knowledge is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs INR. Some companies offer as high as 16 lakhs INR while mass recruiters stick to the usual 3.5 lakhs INR package. Internships offered are also amazing. Amazon, Microsoft, CERT-IN, etc. also offered paid internships.

Placements: CSE/IT: High profile companies recruit meritorious and hardworking students. Companies visiting campus include Microsoft, Amazon, Intuit, TCS and many more. ECE: Below average placements in core field with TCS being the mass recruiter many times. MAE: Overall, the placement is good, being the best sometimes for female mechanical engineers. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, TVS, General Electrics, Mahindra, Flour Daniel etc. visit the campus.

Placements: The placement scenario, particularly for MCA varies every year, depending on the companies visiting the campus. Big names like Amazon, Cisco, Intel, SAP, Sabre, Thought Works, etc. visit the campus along with mass recruiters like TCS, IBM, and Accenture. Various other companies from all over the country also conduct their drives. The highest package offered is approx. 20-22 LPA, the lowest package is 3-3.25 LPA and the average package is 3-5 LPA. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good as it is the old campus of DC but renovation work is still in progress.
