* Infrastructure: The campus is considered "heaven-like" with a green atmosphere, pollution-free, and good infrastructure.
* Teaching Staff: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified, making learning easier.
* Curriculum: The course curriculum is good and supports career growth.
* Placement and Internship: Although there are no campus placements, teachers recommend students for industrial or hospital postings. Students often find internships themselves.

* Scholarships: Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC students, while general students may apply for central sector scholarships.

However, some areas that require improvement include:

An experience of studying at IGNTU, Amarkantak.
Placements: The placement at Manipur University is average. Not every department provides placement. Pharmacy, agriculture, and business administration provide placements, but only in some generic companies. The salary is not that big. However, since it is a central university in an undeveloped area, we should not expect more from it.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility at this university is above average, and each hostel has Wi-Fi, reading rooms, a gym, and a dining hall. However, getting admission to the hostel is not easy. Students are selected on the basis of distance from the university, and not everyone is guaranteed a place in the hostel. The food in the hostel is average and vegetarian.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified and experienced, and the head of the physics department is an amazing teacher. I had a really great experience studying quantum mechanics.
Other: I attended this central university, and it didn't have any fests or extracurricular activities. If you just want to study and get your degree, this is a good place for you. However, if you want a more well-rounded experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Only environment related course is good.
Placements: Around 10-20% students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was INR 45000 and the lowest was INR 15000. Students are hired as guest lecturer and not in companies. Only 2% of students got internship. By clearing UGC NET or GATE SET one can pursue Ph.D.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but obtaining the username and password is a time-consuming process. Labs are average—neither too good nor bad. The number of classrooms is insufficient for each department. The library is well-equipped. The hostel lacks proper facilities; the caretaker is responsible but arrogant. The food is subpar, though the mess is hygienic. Medical staff and emergency facilities are always available when needed.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, with Ph.D. and NET qualifications. While some professors excel at teaching, others merely rely on reading from PowerPoint presentations. The curriculum does not prepare students for the industry. Exams are relatively easy, and students can pass internal and semester exams by dedicating an hour of study daily.
Other: I enrolled in this university as it was my last hope for pursuing a master’s degree. Teachers’ class timings and teaching methods focus more on practical learning rather than theoretical concepts

Learning and future looks good.
Placements: Roles like pharmacists and a few drug inspector roles are offered. Generally, it is in companies like hospital, pharmacies, etc. The top recruiters are Sun Pharma and nearby hospitals. Around 30% of the students can get placements and for internships generally, they try on their own.
Infrastructure: The quality is average, with few laboratories available for practical classes in subjects like pharmacolgy and pharmacognosy. We also have a dedicated library and a computer lab and Wi-Fi is limited to the department area. The hostel is okay and the food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers are good with a few visiting faculty members also and they are very knowledgeable on the topics and subjects that they teach, which makes there teaching easy to grasp and more interesting. The curriculum is also good for supporting our careers, and the exams are of a medium-level.

I don’t recommend admission here—no placements and poor infrastructure.
Placements: No one is getting any placement in my course, and there is no package offered. No companies participate in recruitment. Yet, 1-5% of students manage to get internships. My course offers opportunities like NET LS or pursuing a PhD and JRF if you clear the NET exam. After cracking NET or GATE, there is hope for a good career.
Infrastructure: There is a general store, photocopy shop, dispensary, and ambulance available at the university, but I would rate them 1 out of 5. The WiFi service is below average, rating a 2 out of 5, and the labs are not much better, also deserving a 2 out of 5. The classrooms are quite poor, earning just 1 out of 5, while the library is slightly better with a 3 out of 5 rating. The hostel lacks enough seats and proper facilities, with ongoing water crises. The food quality is very low, just enough for survival. Both the mess and canteen serve expensive and poor-quality food. The sports complex is decent, but the medical facilities are quite disappointing.
Faculty: The teachers are PhD-qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not very helpful, and the teaching quality is below average. The curriculum is not relevant for preparing students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, with a 70% pass rate among students. However, the timetable is often not followed.
Other: I didn't have many options, so I chose this university. While my course is promising for the future, it's not as beneficial for the present. The college needs to improve its practical activities, student interaction, internship programs, and career guidance. Fests are only organized by students, and there is no connectivity provided by the college.

IGNTU is a heaven for low-income students.
Placements: Only 30% of students were placed in my course last year. In MA Economics, placements are very limited. The only option after this course is to pursue NET and work as an assistant professor. Other job opportunities are scarce. We must complete BEd or NET for placements.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi network available for all students and faculty. The classrooms are clean, providing a good atmosphere. The library is well-stocked with a vast number of books, although the library hours are less compared to other universities. Our hostel facilities are good, with electricity, water availability, and Wi-Fi service. Medical facilities are limited, with only a clinic available, lacking better amenities. There is a sports complex for various games.
Faculty: The faculty here are excellent, and their teaching style differs from that of my graduation instructors. The teaching quality is good, and the curriculum is also well-structured. Semester exams are not overly difficult, and the syllabus is straightforward to study and understand, making the exams easier.
Other: I chose this university because of its low fees, and many students from my native place, Kerala, study here. However, transportation to the campus is a problem, as it is located in a hilly area, making it difficult to reach from the town. The nearest main town is 24 km away. There are many extracurricular activities, including national seminars and other programs. We do not receive any scholarships from the university administration, but we can obtain scholarships from the government.

Review of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University.
Placements: There are not many campus placement opportunities, but the recruitment that occurs is generally in roles like drug discovery, formulation development, and quality control, along with a few positions in private and public colleges for teaching roles. The package generally ranges between 1 LPA and 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities are basic, with accommodation in the hostel where the rooms have fans and light connections; however, washrooms are not attached. Wi-Fi is only accessible in the department area and does not offer great connectivity. There is a library and classrooms, and food is provided.
Faculty: Generally, the passing rate is above 50%, and the exams are not very difficult. The curriculum is very focused and tries to cover various topics that will help students get recruited. The teachers are good, very approachable, and their teaching quality is also good.
