B.Tech. in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology - Batch of 2028

3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A Very Underrated Government College.
Placements: Placements are average, not up to expectations. The highest package for Textile 2024 was 16 LPA, and 2-3 people got it. Top recruiters are Trident, Arvind, and more. Almost all 3rd and 4th year students get internships. This is the textile processing branch; they teach textile chemistry here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are good for the textile department. Labs for the textile department are good, not very good. Hostel facilities are good, mess food is okay, also cheap. Fees are only 36,000 for the year. There's a snooker table at the hostel and a turf to play cricket, and also basketball and volleyball courts.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, though some are bad, they just read slides. The course in textiles is quite industry-ready, as much as I heard from seniors. This is textile processing engineering; it is more chemistry-oriented. We process the textile after the manufacturing is done.

Review on Institute of Chemical Technology.
Placements: 50% students get placed, and the rest go for higher studies. The highest is 16 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Trident, Bitra, Archroma, Aditya Birla, Reliance, BSaf, Siyaram, Vardhman, etc. Roles offered can range from marketing to shop floor work.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have air-conditioning and projectors. The library is well-equipped with books and journals. The food quality at the hostel is bad. Sports and games facilities are available. Hostel rooms are affordable, although they are quite small in size. The canteen food menu is limited, and the food is oily.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The course curriculum needs to be updated. Several seminars and programs are conducted, making students ready to work in the industry and grow there. Semester exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: Campus life is best. There are multiple clubs, suiting all different kinds of personalities. Scholarships are available for students.

M.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology - Batch of 2021
Offered by Institute of Chemical Technology, Marathwada Campus

Overall, the college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our college has a good percentage of students placed, about 80%. The highest package is 7 lakhs per year, with an average package of 5 lakhs and the lowest at 3 lakhs per year. Top recruiting companies like Nestlé, Unilever, and EY visit here. Many students get internships from major companies. Top roles offered include machinery tester and co-worker.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities and infrastructure, providing a peaceful environment. The classrooms are neat and clean, and discipline is maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and the labs have updated systems. The library has plenty of books for peaceful reading. Hostel facilities are good, with quality food and a canteen available for day scholars. They conduct sports and games activities, and we have separate periods for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and have great knowledge to clear our doubts and guide us for the future. The teaching quality is also good. This makes the curriculum relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are manageable, but we need to study to achieve good percentages. About 80% of students pass here.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good for aspirants who are willing to do research or opt for higher studies.
Placements: The eligibility for placement is that you have to clear all subjects, and in the 7th semester, companies hire students based on performance in mock group discussions and interviews. The average placement offer is between 3-5 LPA. Companies like Glatt and Sun Pharma hire B Pharma students based on their requirements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, and Wi-Fi is accessible once you get admission to ICT. The labs are top-notch; you will get different sections of labs in the pharma department, such as general labs, pharmacology labs, and pharmacetics labs. In the ICT campus, there are four hostels. UG students are admitted in hostel number 5, which is the best hostel among others based on facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, but the teaching quality isn't that good. You will get the opportunity to do research on any topic of your preference under any professor, which gives you hands-on practice and exposure to research work and publications. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: On campus, you will not get bored; it’s in the heart of Mumbai. In the university, every year there are many fests like Vortex, Asia's largest chem fest, and Manzar sports saga, where you can get the opportunity to participate and gain exposure to different things and exchange cultures.

Integrated M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering (Lipid Engineering) - Batch of 2028
Offered by Institute of Chemical Technology, Marathwada Campus
3.8
4Placements2Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college for fortunate students.
Placements: In the last batch, I saw that 38 out of 55 students were placed, and 8 students received the opportunity to pursue a PhD in chemical engineering through government fellowships in different countries. The highest package was about 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor because the actual campus of ICT Jalna college is under construction, so, at the moment, the college infrastructure is not that good and is rental. Although it's good if you're more focused on education instead of infrastructure. Regarding labs and classrooms, they are very good; all labs are equipped, and all the instruments are new and good. Classrooms are also good, with ACs and digital classroom logistics.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-educated and well-qualified, and they are all supportive. This is the best benefit of an autonomous college: you can directly meet any teacher by visiting their office. They have no problem helping and encouraging you. This course is very relevant to the industry and actually prepares a chemical engineer to be industry-ready. The implant training program is very helpful for gaining experience. The implant training (IPT) is actually an internship provided by the college for 12 months during your 5-year integrated M.Tech degree, which is sufficient and very helpful.
Other: There is not much crowd; it's a silent and peaceful area. It is strongly recommended for students who do not believe in night outs and enjoy life but believe in studying and planning for the future. For those looking for further education, like PhD candidates, taking admission here will yield the best results.

B.Tech. in Polymer Engineering and Technology - Batch of 2024
3.4
3Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Best college for chemical engineering fields.
Placements: Approximately 90-95 % of students are placed with an average package of 7 LPA and the companies that visited the campus were Exxon, BASF, Balmer Lawrie UAE, Cosmo Films etc. The placement percentage is low because many students don't accept the offer.
Infrastructure: Quality of the food in the mess is quite good as compared to other college's mess, and the canteen is even better and also not too expensive. For sports, basketball, volleyball, Badminton court is there and also turf is there for football. As such medical facilities are not there.
Faculty: Yes, professors are very helpful and very talented as they have very good industrial experience. While talking about curriculum, it is quite good as they also teach you entrepreneurship, management and finance-related subjects so that if, in future, you decide to do something then you can figure it out by yourself.
Other: Firstly I wanted chemical engineering but I didn't get that branch as my marks were quite low, and polymer was second second-best branch in ICT as per the placement record. Talking about fests, there are many os them so don't worry you will enjoy it.
