IIIT, BH, a college of dreams.

Placements: We were only the 2nd batch of the college, and still, most of the students were placed in reputed MNCs. Few people opted out of the placement process for the purpose of higher studies. Placements have significantly improved since we graduated. The average package offered has increased, and more no of recruiters are visiting the campus. Overall, the placement at IIIT, BH is much better as compared to colleges of similar repute and stature.

Good college, good atmosphere.

Placements: Placement scenario is okay over here. If there is a good student, then the placement is a guarantee for that student. Many good companies like Dell, direct come to college for the placement. If you are a good student, then you can expect much higher, but it is an IT college, and more no of IT companies comes to college rather than core companies.

The college is good if you can't go to any other government funded college.

Placements: Regarding the placements, it's just the same as any other tier-3 colleges. You will get placed if you are eligible, i.e., zero or two backlogs and 6.5 CGPA. The regular recruiters are Dell, Infosys, IBM, and ITC. Some startups also visit the campus with a mediocre package, don't expect fairness. You might get rejected or selected based on luck. There's no strict policy of any kind.
