    My view on Jadavpur University.
    Placements: The university is known for its excellent placement facilities, especially in the engineering departments, where the highest salary package can exceed 1 crore and the average package is around 15 lakh per annum. However, final year Master's students in Biotechnology are also eligible for placement, and some have been placed in companies such as Nestle and other regional companies. Most Biotech graduates from Jadavpur University prefer to do research at a premier institute in India or abroad.
    Infrastructure: The systematic infrastructure in the central library is commendable, and it has many digital facilities. The reading room is open every day until 8pm. The campus has wifi and our department has eight experienced and highly qualified student-friendly professors who are actively contributing to research. We have a well-equipped lab with almost all modern facilities. Although there is a shortage of funding from the state and central government, my department is doing its best with its limited resources. The classrooms are big and have projectors and all modern facilities.
    Faculty: The faculty at Jadavpur University are highly qualified and experienced. Some of the best researchers from India are in my department and my university. All the faculty members are extremely student friendly and they take care of students in every possible way. They take regular classes and labs, and give regular assessments and surprise tests for our improvement. Apart from academics, they encourage us to be active in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We have separate mentoring sessions for each student, and each student is allotted to a particular professor for mentoring.
    Other: I chose this course because, while doing my undergraduate in microbiology, I was introduced to molecular biology and RDT, which was really interesting for me. I was very confident and comfortable studying this domain. That's why I chose biotechnology. Apart from that, I wanted to explore bioinformatics and computational biology, and it is in the curriculum of Jadavpur University so that was also a crucial point to join Jadavpur University and this course. Most importantly, Jadavpur University is the most affordable university in this country and the best place to study science and engineering for students like me who live in an educationally backward village.

    I am satisfied with the facilities and faculty members.
    Placements: In this college, very few were placed. Most of them did not want a job as they want Ph.D. Hence almost everyone went for interviews but very few finally joined. Most of them were for the experience. The average salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Wipro was one of the top companies. There were no students who got internships. Most of our course was academic-based.
    Infrastructure: Laboratories were good and well maintained. The internet was provided but very weak, because there were fewer routers. The hostel was good and cheap, and the best for middle-class students. This university mainly focuses on middle-class students. The hostel was also allotted as per family income also.
    Faculty: Teachers were helpful and very well qualified in their fields. They were experts in their respective fields, and the course was mainly academic-based, so the focus on the industry was very minimal. The exam was very difficult, and the pass mark was 35%.
    Other: The best thing about the course was academic ready, and I want a high-quality laboratory. The campus was good and the fee structure was very less.

    Review of Jadavpur University.
    Placements: Roles like HR, project manager, etc., are offered to the students. Our college provides a summer internship program. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. About 85% of students get placed with a salary that ranges from Rs. 30,000-50,000 per month. The placement cell is student-friendly.
    Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and good infrastructure. The quality of the food served is so good. It provides free Wi-Fi all-time on the campus. The library is open from 11 am to 5 pm. The campus has a very good environment for students to study. Classrooms are very beautiful in our college.
    Faculty: All the teachers are very student-friendly. Teachers are very much helpful for students. Their teaching quality is good. In the semester exams, questions are of a very standard level. The pass percentage is 40%. I suggest you try to study regularly, and you will get good marks. Some teachers help students very much in their studies.

    I am satisfied with this college. It is a good and student enrichment university.
    Placements: Placements are good in our college. Top renowned companies visit our college for placement. Many software companies visit our college to hire students. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Campus facilities are so good, so students get high salary packages than any other college.
    Infrastructure: The hostel is more affordable here than any other college hostel. Medical and sports facilities are available here. The canteen is good and affordable. This is the best university for the poor students who are not liable to spend more rupees for accommodation. From poor to rich, every student can study here if one is meritorious. Labs are average for experiments.
    Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and renowned. Our department has good professors. Professors have much experience in research fields. One can see professors of research ranking here. Many professors are student-friendly and talk about any problem.
    Other: I have chosen this course because this course is very good for higher studies. If a student wants to pursue or research in the future, then they have to study M.Sc, which is good for sure.

    Review of Jadavpur University.
    Placements: The idea of placements is not suitable for this course. Most of the students choose M.Sc. physics for higher studies. After completing this course some students go for the preparation of exams like banking and others. The rest of the students after clearing NET enter into Ph.D. and after that, they come to the teaching line.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the physics department is good, although there have some deficiencies in the laboratories instrument. Students are provided with many facilities at Jadavpur University. Studying cost in this university is very low, and they supported a student as much as possible like financial help. Hostel quality is good, and food quality is also good. It provides medical facilities for university students in their medical shop. Sports facilities are not good in this university.
    Faculty: All teachers are qualified, and most of them are very helpful, but everyone's teaching skill is not good. The exam papers are set by the individual teacher taking the course. Most of the questions, I faced is conceptual. Due to the covid situation, the pass percentage is 100%.
    Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in physics. In this course, students can realise everything that happens in nature which attracted me most. Laboratories facilities need to be improved. Annually students celebrate the fest of all departments.

    Not extremely good infrastructure but Best in comparison to the fees that we have to pay.
    Placements: In my course Physics there is no such facilities of placement. Here maximum students like to qualify net exam and do their Ph.D. course. So after completing my course I have to clear net exam. In my course a little bit of student do internship in some theoretical topics.
    Infrastructure: Our course infrastructure is good one. We have a special departmental library with a large number of books. Our lab is also good with all necessary instruments but we have to make group to do a certain practical, we cannot do it individual. We don't have Wi-Fi in classroom, but the table and the structure is little old but very good to study. Our hostel facility is very good, you have to pay almost nothing as a rent of room. According to my friends who stay in hostel, the facilities are too good in comparison to the fees!
    Faculty: Our teachers are really helpful and qualified. Almost all teachers have a team of research work. Someof them has excellent teaching quality, but not all! Our course curriculum is suitable for our field and our semester exam is tough, but if you follow every class and lecture then it will become very easy. Our pass percentage is greater than 85%.
    Other: I already read B.Sc. here. In our batch 9 students have qualified in JAM with 6 of them with the rank of below 100. I have chosen it only for my interest in Physics. In my course I think the improvement is required in infrastructure. Campus is really crowded during offline times. Students are helpful for each other. We have so many trees inside our campus. University provides a little amount of scholarship to the financially weak students. Here students also do little bit of extracurricular activities in case of protesting against some wrong issues.
