Jadavpur University is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly. Every teacher completed his/her studies from IITs or NITs or Jadavpur University. This college makes students well-educated and industry-ready. Semester exams are hard but our sir helps us with our study, so we do not face any type of problems in semester exams.

Bachelors of Physical Education (Jadavpur University)

Faculty: There are 8 faculty members in the department, along with more than 20 research scholars and around 6-8 guest lecturers. Out of the 8 faculty members, 4 are Professors, 1 is an Associate Professor, and 3 are Assistant Professors, all having an exceptional background in their field of specialization. The teaching quality is much better than most of the universities and colleges in the whole of West Bengal. The curriculum is well-framed and relevant. There are a total of 4 semesters, each comprisi...

Your perception wouldn't ever be the same if you visit the college once.

Faculty: The professors are extremely qualified and passionate about what they teach and are very expensive in their lives. This course curriculum is as relevant as it can get, being the first curriculum in post-independence India to have a post-structuralist and anti-establishment syllabus critical for coping with the current capitalistic and branching world so that we can have our own stand with valid philosophy. This approach is crucial for the "industry," as progressive and youth-led organizations, w...

Jadavpur University review.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated but some of them aren't very student friendly. We have to write the same thing in the exam that they taught in their class or give notes. Course curriculum is also very orthodox like there are many irrelevant subjects taught. Missing labs give a year lag. But the good thing is JU has no compulsory attendance policy.

Honest review of our college.

Faculty: The semester is supposed to last for six months, but it only lasts for four months. Also, the semester guard and the external teacher are very rude and don't help students in the exam hall.

I think my department is easy and provides very good placements.

Faculty: All our teachers are so friendly; they all helped fully; they are all Ph.D. holders and have five to 10 years of experience; and there degrees are almost all very good. Our department is not the most difficult; during the exam semester in our department, almost all students pass. The pass percentage is 95%.

Best in terms of value for money, placement is the best after IIT KGP in West Bengal.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and most of them are graduates of IITs and IISc. They are very polite and caring. You can contact them every now and then. The curriculum mainly focuses on GATE. Many students get PSUs and good IITs after graduation.

Jadavpur University where the dreams come true.

Faculty: The teachers are really well-educated and knowledgeable, and they always try to show the right path to the students. This course curriculum is completely relevant and makes us industry-ready. Semesters are not very tough, but they are quite challenging. The pass percentage is 40 percent for theory subjects and 50 percent for sessional subjects.

Absolutely Satisfied with Faculty and Good Placement.

Faculty: Teachers are damn good and qualified as this university's NIRF ranking is 10. Most of the teachers are teaching very well, and some are average. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. The difficulty of the paper is not more; it is average as usual, mostly relevant to the previous year. The passing percentage is quite high, almost 90%.

A university where quality education meets low fees and excellent faculty.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent; each member is renowned and the best in their respective field. They are very helpful, and the Ph.D. scholars also help when you face difficulties. The course is rigorous but the best in the whole state. You need to sit for a 10-mark exam every Monday, and there are two semester exams conducted every year.

JU Mechanical Engineering course review.

Faculty: Faculty members are all top-notch and friendly. We are free to talk to them anytime when necessary. They teach efficiently and keep the class more interactive than a one-way delivery. The course curriculum is large, wide-spread and gives everyone the best opportunity to choose for themselves. Semester exams are on a maintained standard. Difficult level is above GATE which lets us know the subjects more clearly and helps in cracking the GATE without additional coaching.

Faculty: The faculty here is very learned and experienced in their respective fields. They also have many contacts in the industries. They focus more on understanding concepts and their practical application rather than writing learning. The course structure and curriculum are very flexible and relevant according to the industry needs. Exams are held two times in a semester: midterms of 30 marks with a 60% syllabus and endsems of 100 marks with a full syllabus. The subjects in electrical engineering are ...
