Placements: In my batch of 2014, very few (2-3) people got selected in core electronic companies. Most of the students got selected for IT and consultancy companies. As far as I remember, 80% of students got selected in atleast 1 company. The average package was around 2.75 LPA. Some of the companies that recruited were TCS, CTS, IBM, Wipro, Accenture etc.

Placements: I am a 2021 pass out student from Jadavpur University with B.E (Honours) in Power Engineering. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all placement processes have gone in virtual mode. The highest salary package offered in our course is 32 LPA by Amazon for the SDE role, and the average salary package offered is 7.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Placements: Placement facilities are very beneficial to our college students, and every year mostly 90% of the students of our university get themselves placed after completion of their course. The highest salary package offered was 70-80 LPA. Placements for B.Tech course are better than B.Sc, and M.Sc. courses because most of the students of science do not appear in the interview for their research purpose.

Placements: The placement quality of our university is more than average. Almost 80-90% of the students get placed here. The highest salary package offered till now is 25 LPA in engineering. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month. The lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA.

Placements: 80% of the students got placed this year, despite this pandemic (including IT jobs and core jobs). Students have attended the GATE exam and achieved the ranks of 299, 479, 670 and 901, which is great. Many students got placed in core companies like L&T, Afcons, Aditya Birla, etc., and many in various IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and many more.

Placements: In Jadavpur University, placements regarding civil engineering aren't much good, even on-campus placements. Around 77% of the students were placed from here. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA, while the average salary package offered was around 3.8 LPA-4.5 LPA. Placements: The placement for B.Sc. students is not that great, since most opt for higher studies in the field. However, if you want to get placed them the placement cell is well-equipped with connections and gives you a holistic approach to the industry. You can opt for better placement after completing your Masters.

Placements: In Jadavpur University, around 90% of students got placed from the engineering departments, who are interested in placements. The highest package offered is around 65 LPA for CSE students. The average package offered is around 21 LPA. For ECE and electrical departments, the average package offered is around 12-13 LPA. Placements: For the batch 2017-2021, B.E mechanical, the placements were pretty decent, with the top recruiting core companies including PSUs like GAIL, Bajaj, Airbus etc. There were also consultancy MNCs like ZS Associates, PWC, who hired GETs or GMTs for FTE (full-time equivalent) hours with pretty decent packages. The median salary for our department was 7 LPA, with 80% of the candidates sitting for placements getting a job.

Placements: Our course provides 100% placements. The highest package offered is around 23 Lacs per annum, the average package is 11.5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Samsung, and Tata Consultancy Services. 25% of students got internships in Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Samsung. The top roles offered are tech consultant, software developer, business analyst etc.

Placements: More than 90% of students got placed in B.Sc. Physics. The highest package I was offered was 1.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 80,000 per annum. As per my knowledge, I never got any call from a top recruiting company as I never gave any interview because I want to be a professor. I love Physics, so I took this course.

Placements: More than 80% of students from our department got placed with an average package of around 8 LPA. Reliance is among the top recruiters, and there are various other companies too. Very few students got internships in companies. For getting an internship, you should have better knowledge of the topics.

Placements: More than 89% of students were placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is nearly 16.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Top companies which visited here to recruit students are Bajaj, TCL, Bharat Petroleum, etc. It is one of the best universities in our country.

Placements: Above 80% of the students got placed in our course. The highest score is 78%, and the lowest is 58%. Tata and many more private firms visit the campus. Approximately 50 to 65% of the students got internship based on merit like group C and group B, by merit, and many more students got an internship by passing out.

Placements: Our college provides 100% placements to all the students who opt for it. Taj Groups, Nestle, and Birla companies recruit students. But not all students sit for placements as they want to complete their higher studies. The college provides high opportunities, and it is up to you how you grab it.

Placements: In our batch, there are many students. About 200 students want to get placed, but few students got placed, maybe only 15% of students. Companies like Deloitte, Times, Amazon and Wipro visit our college to hire students for a financial analyst role. From the 2019-22 batch onwards, the benefit of internships is being provided by the college.

Placements: We are now in the second year, and till now placement programme is not started. Almost 98% of the students of 4th year got placed this year. Till now, the average salary package offered is not declared, but the maximum salary package offered is 65 LPA. Amazon, Samsung and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies. Till now internship programme has not started.

Placements: Every year a minimum of 80% of the students are placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is around 20 LPA, the minimum salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Samsung, Tata Motors, etc. Around 70% of the students got an internship in different well-known companies. Teaching and research analysis are the top roles offered in our course.

Placements: About 90% of the students from our batch got placed in top companies like Google, Yahoo, etc. During my tenure, the average salary package offered was around 20 LPA, which is very good. Reputed companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft and various companies visited here and offered a great salary package to my batchmates.

Placements: About 95% of the students who attended placements got placed from here. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Amazon, Code Nation, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Salesforce and D.E. Shaw are among the top recruiters here. About 90% of the students got internships in various companies, including D.E. Shaw, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, etc.
