Placements: The college offers placements mainly for undergraduate students. Very few core companies are interested in postgraduate courses. But for M.Tech students, multiple IT companies conduct placement drives. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Few PSUs also visit the campus for placements.

Placements: Placements for our seniors have been decent this year. I don't know about the lowest salary package, but one of our seniors bagged 27 LPA offered by Amazon. Other than this, one of our seniors also scored a 100 percentile in CAT along with a placement offer of 22 LPA but preferred to join IIM rather than the job.

Placements: No doubt Jadavpur University is the best engineering college in Kolkata and always maintain its NRF rank along with IITs and NITs. The placement is quite good. At least, the mother branches always have 100% of placements. From the 3rd-year you can get more opportunities to get internships in the multinational companies and world-known universities. So if you maintain your skills and grades, no one can stop you making a large package.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite nice. Last year, almost 94% of our seniors got placed. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA. The average salary package offered was good, and it was around 8-9 LPA. Students of the third year get internships from the college itself. We do have a placement cell.

Placements: Majority of the students have been placed at the campusing, safely around 65-70% say. Don't have a much clue about the salary though. The percentage of internships is also quite high. Around 80-90% people have received internships from the college. There isn't that much of a placement cell, however the union does help in these matters.

Placements: The average package offered for electrical engineering students is 8-8.5 Lacs per annum. More than 90% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was around 28-29 Lacs per annum. Many companies visit our college. People from our department also get placed in the IT sector and other fields.

Placements: Placements were provided through the career cell at the university. Almost 5 companies visit the campus to recruit freshers. Almost 50% of students got jobs. If you wish to enhance your knowledge, then JU is a great college. However, if your only goal is to secure a good job, then this is not the right place for you.

Placements: Placements are really good. Companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, etc., visit the campus frequently and recruit a considerable amount of students every year. Students of our college also score good rank in CAT and GATE exams. Nearly 90% of the students get placed every year.

Placements: Placements recently got very good from the previous years. Almost all got the placements in our senior batches without any problem. In my batch some of our batch mates got internships at Reliance and also Tata Steel. If they get PPO from there that will be a very good news for us. Placement in our department going good but if some extra non core companies will join then it will be best for us.

Placements: In the arts department, students focus more on clearing the NET. But a lot of students opt for placements in media companies, NGOs, and ad agencies, etc. The salary offered varies, and it is ranged between Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 75,000 per month depending on the job and the location of the job.

Placements: Last year, almost 34 students out of 40 got placed. Placements will increase in the coming years in metallurgy branch. Last year, companies like Vedanta, Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, etc., visited the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA.

Placements: Placement assistance is offered along with on-campus placements. The highest package is somewhere around 9.5 Lacs but take it with a pill of caution. Almost 85% of the batch doesn't go into placements due to very less salary on offer, job role not worthy, higher education plans, entrepreneurship, etc.

Placements: Our college assures 100% placements. Around 60% of the students get placed in core companies. However, many students opt for PSUs through the GATE exam or go for higher studies. Students generally go for internships in petroleum or petrochemical companies and PSUs like IOCL, BPCL, and ONGC, etc.

Placements: Jadavpur is famous for humanities streams. Placement drives are conducted by different MNCs for the engineering departments, and the rest of the students either have become the Policymakers of the state or have been appointed in respectable positions. Almost 22 students from our senior batch cleared the NET exam and set the record. The number remains almost similar every year.

Placements: Placements in our college are good and provide good exposure to the students. JD Birla Institute is one of the best colleges in Kolkata and has tie-ups with good companies which in turn help students for placements. It is worth studying there.

Placements: There is an internship period for the students where they get good opportunities to face the entrepreneurial world. It is upto students to whether grab the opportunity or not. The college provides good exposure to the people. When we talk about placements it is upto students discretion.

Placements: Placements were decent. A lot of companies came in for the process having a nice job profile and pay. Seniors were happy with the jobs they were placed at. All kinds of roles were offered for all fields. We did not have an internship in our course curriculum, therefore it was not mandatory.

Placements: Only a few students applied for placement drives, and the rest of the others have opted for the PG course. Students who applied for placement drives got placed in companies like Godrej, ITC Hotels, and Futures First, etc. Most of the students were offered sales trainee roles, and the companies offered very good packages. Futures First has offered the highest package among all.

Placements: Placements are offered to those students who opt for placements after the completion of the course. They are required to give their names to the placement cell of our college after which they are eligible for placements in the college. The highest packages are offered by Amazon and Ernst and Young for the commerce students.

Placements: The college provides pretty average placements. The college doesn't offer any postgraduate courses, so only a few students get placed from here. The undergraduate courses are good. The highest salary package offered is up to 5 LPA. Overall, it's a good and worthful experience. I suggest you opt for this college.
