Placements: Package varies. For the 2024 pass-out batch, the highest international package was 1.4 crores, and the highest domestic package was 57 LPA, with an overall placement rate of 93%. The average package is between 14-15 LPA. The highest package for the 2024 batch was 40 LPA, making the return on investment quite good.

Placements: 95 percent of students are placed. The highest average and the lowest packages are varied for different companies: 35 LPA is the highest package, with an average of 10 to 12 LPA and the lowest of 5 to 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Texas, Cognito, and Qualcomm. 85 percent of students and above got internships from the above-mentioned companies and also from ITC and others. Software engineer, business analyst, software developer, etc. are the top roles offered.

Placements: Approximately 90% of students secured positions in various IT firms. The highest salary package reached 49 LPA from Amazon, with an average of 8 LPA. Key recruiters included Amazon, Media.net, Tata Digital, JP Morgan, and Aditya Birla. Roles offered were software developer, data scientist, and senior analyst.

Placements: There is no compulsory placement system in the Arts faculty, although we do have a Placement Cell, and through that one can easily get information and be notified about placements. Most of the students go on to higher studies. Our department offers integrated courses, so if you are planning for higher studies in history, I would definitely suggest you join us.

The main thing about placements at Jadavpur University is that the students are the main stakeholders, so students are all in all. Placements: The last two years, it has been 100% placement in our branch (IEE). The highest package of our branch this year is 55 LPA, and the average is around 16 LPA. At this time, most of the students are choosing core companies over software, with some top companies like Texas Instruments, Schrodinger, etc., recruiting from our branch. Some students also got on-campus internships.

Placements: 27 students are there in M.Com with 7 of them being in the marketing and others in finance. 4 lacs per annum in hand salary is the highest placement package offered by Deloitte. Deloitte and PWC are the top recruiting companies. 90% students got internships. Auditor and Relationship Manager are the top jobs offered.

Placements: In JU, more or less 100 percent students of each department get placed due to its name tag and high quality of students. In my department, the highest package offered in 2022 was 1.5 Cr. from google and the lowest was 4 Lacs offered by TCS. Top MNCs like Brain and Zs Associate came for recruitments. Top core companies like Airbus, ITC, Mahindra and others visited as well.

Placements: As of 2023 placements data, our department’s (production engineering) placement percentage was almost 95%. Placements: Placement in JU is really very good. In this sort of placement scenario, JU is still achieving high placements. In our department, out of 59 students, 48 have already been placed. In other branches, the placement scenario is also very good. The average package of our college is almost about 22 LPA, though I don't know it clearly.

Placements: While Jadavpur University boasts a highly active placement cell for its engineering faculty, the same cannot be said for its arts faculty, where the placement cell seems to be less active and has only attracted visits from a few media companies. To recruit companies like ABP, Protidin, AJ Kal, etc. Our course is offered by a top journalist company as a reporter and writer. The highest package is 13 lacs, and the lowest package is 8 lacs.
