Placements: Our senior batch 13-17 and our batch 14-18 has a record placement which is almost close to cent percent. Placements: 22/40 (55%) students got placed in our batch. 24/36 (66.67%) got placed in our senior batch. The highest salary being 6.8LPA CTC offered. Roles varied from core power engineering to IT to Data Analyst and Software engineering. Only 4/22 placed in our batch got in core power engineering roles. Placements: We had placements from Star India, Zee India and Network18 TV in 2016, however, the job opportunities are less as the recruitments in Jadavpur University are conducted across various streams. Depending upon the vacancies, some local news channels and NGOs also hire students from our college.

Placements: Decent placement status, out of 40 (average strength of the class) 20-25 get placed, rest opt for higher education like GATE GRE Plcament range lies in between 6-11 Lacs. If someone has idea of coding then companies like goldsnatch are offering higher packages for him.

Placements: There were various IT companies, and some of us got placed. Most of the students of the previous batch got placed in various IT firms. There were no power sector companies. So, it was not good years regarding placements in power sector for power engineers. Some colleges showed interest to employ some of us as faculty members, though they prefer people with PhD as faculty members.

Placements: Placement was average. Around 60% students got placed with the highest package being around 6 LPA. The average was around 4 LPA. Companies included Infosys, L&T power, Wipro and mostly other software companies. Instead of taking part in an internship we took part in a 3 week power plant familiarizatuon programme organized by our department at NPTI Durgapur.

Placements: The placements are very good. Almost 50-60 companies come to JU every year and take more or less than 90% of the students with good LPA. Placements for core streams are quite good at present. The average package offered is 20 LPA. Some students from CSE, ECE and IT get a very good package of 30-40 LPA also.

Placements: Placements in the college are no different other than required by the industry. Sometimes the placement season are very good and sometimes not much good. But JU being an old and reputed government college has a very strong alumnus. It therefore manages a very good placements for its students. Almost 80% of students surely get placed in departments like CSE, EE, ECE, ME with an average salary of 6lpa. However average in CSE reaches high upto 14lpa. Placements: Placement in general line is not good for us & for seniors also. But there were few company came mainly Educational Institute ( like pathfinder, rice etc.). They hired 20-30 % from our whole batch, but again Pay scale not up to the mark I must say. Few of our friends have already left that job. Because salary & working pressure is not equivalent at all. So who join here for B.Sc. I must suggest you to go for higher study, & I am confident you will find many ways ahead.

Placements: Since Jadavpur University is ranked at no 7 at all India Engineering college ranking. It has 100% placement ratio. Like of my Seniors batch the highest package was 37.2 LPA and on an average all students were getting around 12-15 LPA in many companies. Many of the tech giants arrive here. Like microsoft, amazon TCS and many more. The lowest Salary was 8 LPA. Talking about internship one guy got internship at Google. Also about 40 % second years got internship and all third years got internship. ...

Placements: The campus placements in mathematics department are low. About 10-20% of the students got placed last year. But, a handsome number of students go on to pursue research in good institutions like IITs, TIFR, etc. The placement cell in mathematics department is not very efficient as most of the students don't go for job after pursuing B.Sc. Mathematics. Every year, the students are given a scholarship from Inspire worth of 60,000 who are in the top 1percentile.

Placements: Our arts faculty students union every year organised placement related things, and we also have a placement cell which is enough action to provide jobs to the qualified students. Our seniors are now well-settled and well-earned. The salary is like Rs 15,000 and above. Hi-Tech, 24 Ghanta, Abp, and Vivo are among those companies have visited our college regarding placement. The roles of managing director, manager, and marketing head are the roles frequently offered by them to students.

Placements: The placements were good in the past, but now, there is drop in the placement in recent years. Around 50% of the student got placed. Now, the job opportunity in West Bengal is very less. There is no new industry in recent years. Engineering field is not promising the placements in West Bengal.

Placements: The placements at JU (as we call our beloved college) will never be a concern if you are eligible to take admission in this college because trust me, only the brightest of minds come here to study. Speaking of my department, despite it being a relatively unpopular department, it is a huge field of study, and rightfully we find jobs in some of the largest core and MNCs like ITC, CGI, PWC, NextGen Printers, Bridge I2I, Times Of India and Infosys.

Placements: The placements were great during our time in spite of the ongoing HoKKolorob movement. The companies like CESC, PwC, Oracle Financial Services, Oracle Cloud, Tata Steel, JUSCO, TCS, Honda, Haldia Petrochemicals, L&T, Reliance, and many others visited the campus for recruiting from the electrical department. Visa offered the highest package with job location Bangalore. Almost all the students were placed barring very few. Roles were primarily maintenance based in core companies.

Placements: Placements were good in the last few years, and I hope it remains the same in the coming years. Students here are happy in this case. I hope, and I am looking forward to my placement too. Good placements help students to motivate themselves and to act and study properly.

Placements: Almost 100% placements are offered. PSUs like BPCL and HPCL visit our college. Almost 50% of the students secure a job in the core companies like Seimens, Rockwell, Crompton, L&T, Samsung Hardware, Tesla Motors, etc. Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation offers internship and job to the top 10 students by conducting plenty interviews.

Placements: As far as computer science department is concerned, there are many companies which come to Jadavpur University such as Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Tower research, Salesforce, Hexagon, PWC, Infosys, Synopsys, and many more. The average salary is around 12-13 LPA which is quite good. The highest package in the last year was around 40 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The placement percentage was 100%. Placements: 2-3 companies including Asian Paints and Sun Pharma had come to offer job opportunities, and more than 25 students among 36 got selected. There is an active placement cell that arranges for all streams of science. The average salary offered is 2.6 lac/year. The professors are helpful and help the students to find their desired position in the industrial sector.

Placements: The placements of JadaJadavpur University are very good. In 2017 batch, there were 75 out of 101 students from the mechanical engineering department got placed. The rest 26 were not placed as they had backlogs in some subjects. The placement record for the civil engineering department is 65%, and it is one of the bests in West Bengal, leaving NIT Durgapur behind.
