Placements: The placements for chemical engineering in Jadavpur University are really good. Last year, out of 75 students, approximately 54 got placed on our campus. The current year, till now, approximately 42 seniors got placed, and still, 4-5 months are there for the placements. Placements: The placement scenario in this university is very good. In the civil department top companies like L&T Construction, Tata Projects, SPCL, Bridge and Roof, Vedanta, MN Dastur come every year for recruitment. Placements: Placements are good with around 80% of the batch getting placed every year. Roles and packages vary according to different departments. Consulting companies come to the campus and take students for various roles, however, most of the placements are in the core sectors. IT sector also hires in large numbers.

Placements: Many national and international placements have been made from this department in the past years. Firms take placements from our college at the posts for junior architects and many more with a salary package of Rs. 3,00,000 PA to Rs. 15,00,000 PA. We have placement coordinators in this department from the past few years which makes the hassle of searching jobs easier as they bring the firms directly to the doorstep of our university. Placements: The placement season goes throughout the year. The third year students get companies for good internships. Over 90% placement takes place. The companies like Mu Sigma, PwC, Maruti, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft and many more other companies visit the campus throughout the year. These companies range from core to coding to economics.

Placements: It is mandatory for all the students to intern for a few months to get exposure to the practical world. The students are placed in various non-governmental organisations as well as multinational corporations. Non-governmental organisations include hope foundation and NGOs outside Kolkata. Multinational corporations include Tate Steel.

Placements: I got placed at Bengal Shristi Infrastructure Development Limited with an annual package of 3 lakhs per annum. Overall, the company is good for freshers. Also, I have learnt lots of thing in civil engineering from my seniors. But the growth of your career in this company is less compare to other companies.

Placements: I personally do not have much experience regarding placements, but as I heard from seniors and our principal, there are plenty of placements provided, but the main issue is that the students are not turning up for a job after being selected. So, this is putting the college in a dicey position of calling the companies for recruiting. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and HDFC Bank come to our campus for recruitments.

Placements: The placements offered in the college are excellent. Jadavpur University, the construction engineering department saw 100% placement in the companies like L&T construction and many more. The highest package being offered was 12 LPA whereas the average package close to 5 LPA. The students are going to the higher studies and opting an internship.

Placements: The students are not attending interviews as all are interested in opening their firm, but every year it differs as some batches are interested in placement and some want to go to open their firn, so it all depends on the students. Many companies want to approach, but students and placement cell deny them.

Besides getting placed, many students were selected for higher education like ME, M.Tech, MS and PhD in India or abroad. Placements: The placement is incredible. Not just the package amount but the number of students placed is also incredible. The companies coming here are reputable, the core and non-core. The placements are available to anyone with skill, not just limited to the department of your studies.

Placements: The job prospect is good. In my batch, there were almost 90 students, and 80 to 85 students got at least one job from the campus recruitment. Renowned core companies like Bajaj, L&T, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki etc. and IT companies like TCS, CTS etc. recruit mechanical engineering graduates from JU. The roles offered to the students depends on the company.

Placements: Last year, it was around 45 out of 75 students who got placed. This year, it is already around 35 who are placed and yet companies are to visit here. So the count may reach to 50. In the upcoming years, these numbers are just going to increase. Talking of the percentage, it may vary from department to department, but it is around 50%.

Placements: Several students are placed in companies like Texas Instruments, Samsung, Siemens, ZS Associates, Synopsys, TCS and so on. 80 percent of the students were placed. The average package was 10.5 LPA last year, the highest was 22 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA for the students being placed. 60 percent of students got internships and PPOs.

Placements: The placements are too good. Although in civil, placements are not as good as other branches like CSE, ECE, and EEE but the department of civil is very good & in this branch, you can get many opportunities for higher education. The number 1 construction company L&T used to come every year & offered a good salary package.

Around 90 % of the students get placed with a package varying from 3.2 LPA for mass recruitment to 16 LPA for the core and 25 LPA for IT and CSE. Placements: Till now, about 80% of the students have been placed. My senior batch was placed with the highest CTC of 3.4 lpa and the average CTC of 2.8 lpa. My batch is placed with the highest CTC of 4.5 lpa and my salary package is 4 lpa. I opted for MBA in 2017. The placement condition is slowly increasing, and it gets better day by day.
